By June 2010 (right before the 2010 election) eliminate the Federal Government’s retirement program, all federal pension funds will be rolled into the Social Security Program.  All federal employees will pay for Social Security and be on Social Security from now on – We can’t afford a better program for you than what you give us.
No more Government bonuses (except for Military signing bonuses) until after the budget is balanced – We can’t afford it.
All Senators, House Members & their staff and especially the Speaker of the House – Taxpayers will only pay for two trips for you and any of your family members back to your home state per quarter.  The trips will be on commercial transportation. We can’t afford more than 8 trips per year for you & any of your family.
All federal government (excluding military) will have their health care program eliminated when the Government health care program is passed in the House & Senate- ALL federal employees will then be on that health care program….we can’t afford to buy you a better health care plan than what you’re giving us!

Dr. Tiller A Christian Man

I make a sick prediction…

As mentioned in my previous post, I do NOT condone the murder of Dr. Tiller, so the following comments are not meant to harm him, they are a condemnation of our Main Stream Media!

I have not seen any headlines yet that make this claim (about Tiller), but I know our disgusting media. The average story about anyone that is a Christian, or proposes to be a Christian because they attend a Christian Church, has a very negative story line. Almost all movies about Christianity made by Hollywood distort or outright lie about Christianity.

Whether it’s a blogger that thinks just because he/she calls themselves a Liberatarian it’s Ok, to denigrate Christians. Or maybe it’s a well known leftist non-believer that uses his space in the NYT’s Opinion Pages to mock and belittle Christians. Or maybe it’s just a beat reporter working for a lefty mainstream media outlet that wants to get noticed by his boss so he writes a dreadful peice on someone who is a Christian. The choices are endless and we have all seen what I’m talking about.

Now we have the unfortunate murder of Dr. Tiller, who happens to be a champion and hero for the left and pro-choice advocates, but with his death we will see a change.

The media is about to start wailing to the top of the NYT’s building in Manhattan, that the good Doctor was also a good Christian man. Now that a murderer of babies is murdered, his Christianity will be a thing of great beauty to the left.

The White House issued a statement Sunday evening from President Obama on the murder of George Tiller. Here’s what the president said:

“I am shocked and outraged by the murder of Dr. George Tiller as he attended church services this morning. However profound our differences as Americans over difficult issues such as abortion, they cannot be resolved by heinous acts of violence.”

 

 

 I do NOT condone the murder of anyone, but to be perfectly honest with you, I will NOT shed a tear for the man that killed thousands of innocent babies. Why does the president NOT get outraged over the murders of millions of babies?

Republicans will make race an issue in Sotomayor confirmation

GOP conservatives didn’t hesitate to call the Latino Supreme Court nominee racist, but Republican senators were cautious. Now, the gloves are off.

Reporting from Washington — Since the introduction last week of Sonia Sotomayor, Republican senators wary of attacking the first Latino Supreme Court nominee have criticized fellow conservatives who have branded her a “racist” and even predicted a smooth confirmation.

But several of those same GOP senators, now reluctant to criticize conservatives such as Rush Limbaugh and Newt Gingrich for their racially tinged critiques of Sotomayor, signaled today that they too are ready to make race a key focus of the nomination battle as they settle on a touchy question: Can a woman who says her views are shaped by her gender and ethnicity make fair decisions when it comes to white men?

“We need to know, for example, whether she’s going to be a justice for all of us or just a justice for a few of us,” said Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas), a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, speaking on ABC’s “This Week With George Stephanopoulos.”

Only days earlier, Cornyn said in a radio interview that it was “terrible” for conservatives to be attacking Sotomayor as a “racist.” But today, the senator did not reiterate those sentiments and pledged that he and other Republican lawmakers would probe deeply into Sotomayor’s past comments and rulings to see if her heritage colors her ability to make fair decisions.

Cornyn’s comments were echoed in television appearances by Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky; Sen. Jeff Sessions of Alabama, the ranking Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee; and Sen. Jon Kyl (R-Ariz.), another member of the panel that will conduct hearings.

At issue is a 2001 speech in which Sotomayor expressed hope that a “wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn’t lived that life.”

The senators also promised today to question Sotomayor about a recent appellate ruling in which she rejected a discrimination claim by a white firefighter.

“By ignoring a genuine constitutional issue about reverse discrimination in the New Haven firefighter case, you know, the comments she made about the quality of her decisions being better than those of a white male — I mean, we need to go further into her record to see whether this is a trend or whether these are isolated and explainable events,” Cornyn said.

McConnell refused to repudiate Limbaugh, Gingrich and other conservatives who have called Sotomayor a racist, telling CNN that they were “entitled to their opinions.” The minority leader added that he had “better things to do than be the speech police over people who are going to have their views about a very important appointment.”

The senators’ comments today underscored how Sotomayor’s history of speaking out about her ethnicity had emerged as a surprisingly resonant issue in her confirmation right — one that is not necessarily welcomed by President Obama, who as the country’s first black president has tried to de-emphasize race as part of his efforts to win broad public appeal and avoid the marginalization that has defined many African American politicians in the past.

There is no indication that Sotomayor’s confirmation is in serious jeopardy. But in a sign of concern over the growing role of race in the debate, Obama on Friday took the unusual step of criticizing his nominee, saying she made a poor choice of words.

Obama Ignores Jihadist Training Camps in America

 

As you are reading this, do you know that there are 31 jihadist  camps right here in the United States?

The camps provide weapons training and instruction in hate-America Wahhabism, the militant Muslim sect.  One camp in New York, called Islamberg, has 200 men. The camps are owned and operated by Sheikh Mubarik Ali Hasmi Shah Gilani, a known terrorist.

And the Obama administration is doing nothing about this! Instead, the Dept of Homeland Security has identified “extremists” such as Christians, veterans, and pro-lifers as potential terrorists.

Why Obama is losing The Third Jihad

As I pen these words not more than sixty miles north of where I sit, a radical Islamist breeding ground, Islamberg, N.Y., is churning out hate, weapons training, and radical Wahabi indoctrination. To date President Barack Obama’s administration has done zero about it.

It is imperative to understand that there are thirty additional compounds to this one that are spread throughout the nation in blue states like New York and red states like Virginia. And in each place the residents have been observed or overheard testing explosives, firing weapons, and engaged in the same type of activities as what those who have abandoned Islamberg have confessed to.

Cutting to the chase let it be plainly said, there are thirty-one bases of operation in which strongly questionable use of weapons and militant jihad are being taught and trained, here on U.S. soil. They are actively supplying clerics to serve in the prison chaplain systems across several states, and in many instances those who do are also actively recruiting new members for the future Islamic State of North America. Their stated goal on one of the chaplain’s websites is for that state to be in existence by 2050.

Since the compound, known as Islamberg, has more than 200 residents, and since it took less than ten percent of that to kill over 3000 Americans on 9.11.2001, we would assume our nation’s authorities would shut it down.

Of course the whole “shutting entire compounds down” thing is a bit tricky for this President. On the campaign trail he pledged to do as much for Gitmo, a base he now supposedly controls. Yet increasingly he appears to be leaning towards leaving it open for some time to come.

I guess it would also be of comfort for the administration to square with the American people that Islamberg is owned and operated by Sheikh Mubarik Ali Hasmi Shah Gilani a known terrorist who currently funds and owns all 31 of the camps known as “Al Fuqra.” The Pakistani terror leader remains out of the nation, but regularly provides instructions for those who operate these bases as to how to combat the attempt by mere local law enforcement, to turn our laws on their ears, and to insure that they never gain legal access to the compounds.

Federal authorities have yet to address these compounds with any serious attention.

It is not surprising then that the makers of a new film “The Third Jihad” are so obsessed with letting Americans know what is happening, behind our backs, down the streets, and in the open rural areas we love. Enemies of America are seeking our destruction. The compounds however present only part of the challenge. A much larger one has been unearthed by the FBI but little has yet been done to combat it.

Through a series of violent protests in Western Europe over things like the Allah cartoons, journalists, media outlets, and eventually whole government systems began to make compromises to the protestors. In each case free speech was allowed to have limitations placed upon it, and in some cases such as Great Britain justice in muslim neighborhoods is being wholesale exported to Sharia law systems.

In America while hundreds of thousands of muslims would argue they have no desire to see Sharia law become the way of American society, nearly 25% of those same muslims say they do believe that taking the life of the innocent is allowable to perform the will of Allah–their bastardized substitution for the God of the Bible. And honor killings are on a sharp increase amongst American muslim families.

“The Third Jihad” is an important film because the host of the documentary is an American muslim, and one of the extremely few who has had the courage to speak out against the violent radical elements in his faith community in America.

Every American needs to understand the patient persistence with which the Islamic State of North America is being built with. Every American needs to understand that the U.S. government is at this moment asleep to the concern of the problem that is festering here.

And with President Obama’s plan to cut intelligence, defense, and national security spending we’ve a very real reason to be concerned.

This is especially true given the boldness with which others such as the tyrannical terrorists in Iran, and the crazed and extremely dangerous nuclear power of North Korea have dusted any concern with America aside while Obama is at the helm.

In my city just two weeks ago four men who had been recruited by elements of Sheikh Gilani’s crew were caught attempting to place what they believed was a dangerous amount of C4 and a missile they wished to use to bring down an airliner, and blow up a prominent Jewish landmark.

The threat is real friends, “The Third Jihad” documents it all, and every American should view it and pass on their copy to their neighbor. (www.TheThirdJihad.com)

Perhaps one could even make its way to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, who just this week at a burger joint learned about a whole wing of intelligence operations that he had never heard of before.

Trust me, our enemies knew who they were, why didn’t President Obama?

Is This Racist Logic?

 This writer seems to be doing more harm than good. You don’t curb racism by creating different levels and special categories of racism. It’s almost as if he’s bragging… “my racism is more important than your racism because we were lynched and you were not”. Well, what if your anger over the crimes of the past creates a “new racism” and it too gets to the point of lynchings. Is this what you want?

I pray that it’s NOT what you want.

Note to Newt: How “New Racism” Isn’t Like “Old Racism”

Old white guys can be a funny bunch, can’t they? The same anti-same-sex marriage, anti-affirmative action cadre can flower into the biggest supporters of “equality” the minute they get a whiff of minority empowerment.

To that end, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich is accusing Supreme Court Nominee Sonia Sotomayor of being a “new racist” because of a line she delivered in a speech back in 2001. Sotomayor is quoted as saying: “I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experience would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn’t lived that life.”

Reasonable.

Unless you’re, like, an aging geezer peaking out of your window at those scary dark-skinned people who just bought the house across the street. Then all your shriveled up little ears hear is a supposed corollary to Sotomayor’s statement which is — according to Newt — “My experience as a white man makes me better than a latina woman” to which he added, “New racism is no better than old racism.”

By the way, thanks for coming to the party late on that denouncement of “old racism.”

But here’s the deal, Newt, your “new racism” isn’t like “old racism” ’cause “old racism” tended to involve things like shackles, and whips and the Middle Passage. Attack dogs, Billy clubs and water hoses. Burning crosses and lynch mobs. Confederate flags, liquor and screams of “Kill the (fill in pejorative here)!” “Old racism” was red lining and segregating and “whites only” drinking fountains, schools and country clubs. It was The Dred Scott Decision, Executive Order 9066, and the Trail of Tears. “Old racism” was a blind eye and “all deliberate speed” that wasn’t deliberate or particularly speedy and nonsense about the sanctity of marriage which was crap when it was applied to “race laws” and is crap when applied to “one man/one woman.”

“New Racism?” That’s apparently a Latina openly talking about how “more often than not” she would like to avoid the “conclusions” that allowed “old racism” to thrive. That’s a long way from getting your ass beat for trying to cross the Edmund Pettus Bridge so maybe your kids might one day enjoy the right to vote.

The fact that Newt would even attempt to compare “old racism” and “new racism” only proves Sotomayor correct in saying that experience based on fact is very different than that based on perception.

Keep in mind that appointments to the US Supreme Court are for life, so you picture your children and grandchildren living in a nation with the La Raza minion Sonia Sotomayor in a position of great power during all of their lives.

Who do you stand with? Rush Limbaugh, Michael Savage, Newt Gingrich, and Tom Tancredo? Or do you stand with Charles Krauthammer, Bill O’Reilly, and other Republicans that say Sonia Sotomayor should not be challenged on her racists comments and group affiliations or support for Amnesty for illegals?

She can be stopped. Obama can be stopped.

President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama landed in New York City late Saturday afternoon for a Manhattan date night that was to include a Broadway show.
A spokesman read a statement from Obama: “I am taking my wife to New York City because I promised her during the campaign that I would take her to a Broadway show after it was all finished.

The president traveled in a smaller, Gulfstream-type plane rather than the larger planes typically used as Air Force One.

The Republican National Committee slammed the outing in an “RNC Research Piece”: “As President Obama prepares to wing into Manhattan’s theater district on Air Force One to take in a Broadway show, GM is preparing to file bankruptcy and families across America continue to struggle to pay their bills. … Have a great Saturday evening – even if you’re not jetting off somewhere at taxpayer expense. … PUTTING ON A SHOW: Obamas Wing Into The City For An Evening Out  While Another Iconic American Company Prepares For Bankruptcy.”

The RNC’s Gail Gitcho added: “If President Obama wants to go to the theater, isn’t the Presidential box at the Kennedy Center good enough?”

Here is the pool report to the White House press corps from Dave Michaels of the Dallas Morning News:

“We touched down at JFK International Airport about 4:35 p.m. in the first plane of three. We held in helicopter for POTUS AND FLOTUS arrival at 4:43 p.m., which we witnessed through windows. We took off before Marine One and passed over the rooftops of Queens before turning south over the East River. Just after passing over the Brooklyn Bridge we landed at the downtown Manhattan Heliport, which I’m told is also called the Wall Street landing zone.

 

“The sky is clear and blue here, same weather as in Washington. No traffic on West Street as NYPD had cleared the road. Some observers watched for Marine One from a pier about 100 yards north. I could see ten or more NYPD motor jocks, a bunch of cruisers and a rather large RV-style van, perhaps a mobile command center.
“We headed north on West Street in vans and passed Ground Zero. Southbound traffic on the Westside Highway seemed light, but probably slowed down as the rubber necking began. We turned right on Clarkson Street and headed cross town. Plenty of pedestrians and diners at the trattoria checking us out.

“POTUS waved to enthusiastic watchers as his vehicle headed toward the Blue Hill restaurant on Washington Place.”

From an earlier report from Michaels as the presidential party took off from Washington: “Three presidential helicopters descended on Andrews Air Force Base about 3:42 p.m. A group of about 20 people, a few members of the military wearing camouflage and what must have been their families, watched from a distance of 50 to 75 yards.
“Exactly five minutes later, President Obama and Michelle Obama stepped down from Marine One. POTUS was business casual, but very sharp, in a dark blue suit and black shoes. His white shirt was unbuttoned at the top — no tie. Mrs. Obama wore a black cocktail dress and black heels. Her hair was up and she held a small blue purse, which I’m informed is called a clutch. They boarded a presidential Gulfstream 500 and we took off shortly before 4 p.m. en route to New York City, where the first couple is to have dinner and watch a play, ‘Joe Turner’s Come and Gone’ at the Belasco Theater. The name of the production is courtesy of the New York Daily News.”

Machiavellian Obama

 

Remember Bill and Hillary Clinton? Remember how we conservatives used to loathe – and fear – them? Do you hear much about either of them these days?

It is a testament to Obama’s Machiavellian skills that, in the space of just a few months, he has succeeded at marginalizing Hillary and neutering Bill. I still say Obama is a capo di tutti capi, the boss of all crime bosses. Obama puts the Godfather to shame.

Dick Morris: Clintons Trapped in Obama’s Web

Asked why he was naming some of his rivals to top administration jobs, President Lyndon B. Johnson said it best:

“I’d rather have them inside the tent pissing out than outside pissing in.” President Obama seems to echo Johnson’s management style in his handling of Bill and Hillary Clinton. By bringing them into his inner circle, he has marginalized them both and sharply reduced their freedom of action.

It may appear odd to describe a secretary of State as marginalized, but Obama has surrounded Hillary with his people and carved up her jurisdiction geographically. Former Sen. George Mitchell (D-Maine) is in charge of Arab-Israeli relations. Dennis Ross has Iran. Former U.N. Ambassador Dick Holbrooke has Pakistan and Afghanistan. And Hillary has to share her foreign policy role on the National Security Council (NSC) with Vice President Biden, U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice, CIA chief Leon Panetta, and NSC staffer Samantha Powers (who once called Hillary a “monster”).

With peers who are competitors and subordinates who can deal directly with the president, Hillary is reduced to announcing foreign aid packages for Pakistan while Holbrooke does the heavy lifting.

Part of Hillary’s problem is the institutional shrinking of the State Department. During the Bush years, while war raged, the Defense Department became more relevant to the conduct of foreign policy. And, under Obama, the financial crisis has propelled the Treasury into the forefront. State, with its emphasis on traditional diplomacy, has been forced to take a back seat. Even though Obama appointed Hillary, he clearly has not been willing to make her a co-president and confines her to the diminished role of her department.

For his part, Bill Clinton has been asked to be a special envoy to Haiti. Yes, Haiti. Obama’s predecessor asked the former president to orchestrate the response to the Asian tsunami and then to Hurricane Katrina. Obama gives him Haiti.

Meanwhile, both Clintons are effectively muzzled and cannot criticize Obama even as he reverses President Clinton’s free market proclivities and budget balancing discipline. Hillary, the supposed friend of Israel, must sit by quietly and watch Iran get the bomb while trying all the while to stop Israel from preventing it.

Bill can’t even make money. Denied the ability to accept speeches from foreign governments or their organs and fenced out of continuing his profitable relationship with the Emir of Dubai, he and his wife must accept the loss of the $13 million they spent on her campaign and sit by passively, unable to earn the money to replace it.

Just as Lincoln buried his rivals Seward, Chase and Stanton in the Cabinet and then on the Supreme Court, and Wilson buried Bryan at the State Department, so Obama has hidden his predecessor and his rival in plain sight at the upper reaches of the government.

How long will Hillary subject herself to this discipline? Likely as long as Obama is popular. Should his ratings fade, she might move away from the president and could even consider a primary contest against him in 2012. But while he is on top of his game, she’ll stay loyal.

But she is shrinking by the day. Once Obama’s equal — and before that his superior — she now looks tiny compared to the president. She doesn’t look like a president in waiting; she’s more like a senior staff member hoping to rise in the bureaucracy. No longer at the head of a movement or the symbol of rising women all over the world, she has faded into the State Department woodwork. She is much less visible than her predecessors Henry Kissinger, George Schultz, James Baker, Madeleine Albright or Condi Rice. She is even less in the public eye than was Al Haig during his one-year tenure. One has to go back to the likes of Warren Christopher or William Rogers to find a secretary of State as far down the totem poll. This diminished status has got to grate on her and on him. But they are trapped in Obama’s web and cannot easily escape.

Pelosi, the Socialist

 

Of late, we here on Gio’s World have been making fun of  Congresswoman and queen bee Nancy Pelosi. See here and here. Our efforts to get the Congressional Ethics Committee to investigate her many lies denying she was informed by the CIA on waterboarding even got Gio’s World into the May 20, 2009 issue of the Capitol Hill paper, Roll Call, which credits this blog for having engineered “likely the first mass-mail appeal to the Office of Congressional Ethics to open an investigation” into a member of Congress.

Sure, this woman does not have the sharpest blade, having declared that “500 million Americans lose jobs every month,” when the entire population of the United States is less than that, at 304 million! (World Factbook estimates the US population to be 303,824,640 as of July 2008.)

But it would be a mistake on our part to underestimate or dismiss Pelosi as a nincompoop, an airhead. The New Zealand libertarian blog, NewZeal, has begun an earnest investigation into Pelosi. There’s an old adage that birds of a feather gather together. Judging by the company that Nancy Pelosi keeps and the people she admires, Pelosi and Obama have more in common than we realize — they are both socialist/communist sympathizers, if not outright reds themselves.

San Francisco based Pelosi is not only one of the richest members of the US Congress-she is also one of the reddest.

[The Weekly Standard’s] Joshua Muravchik has exposed Pelosi’s admiration for the late covert communist labor boss Harry Bridges.

Cliff Kincaid of Accuracy in Media has revealed Pelosi’s ties to the pro-communist Hallinan family.

Kincaid also points out a major flaw in the US political system.

Like the president, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi does not have to go through a background investigation in order to get a security clearance. This loophole in the law enables the president and members of Congress to automatically qualify for security clearances, even if they have controversial backgrounds and associations, by virtue of the fact that they get elected to high office in Washington, D.C.

Pravda Tells It Straight

 

Remember that fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen about the child who alone pointed out the obvious, crying out “the emperor has no clothes”?

The “child” today is none other than Russia’s Pravda – the paper that used to be the mouthpiece of the Soviet Union’s Communist Party. It takes one to know one — and Pravda is telling us that the United States, under Obama the Marxist trojan-horse, is sinking rapidly into Marxist socialism.

To slightly change the famous George Santayana quote: “Those who do not learn from others’ history are doomed to repeat it.” The American Left are hellbent on hurtling our country down the same path that Russia, China, North Korea, Cuba (to name a few) took — to their utter ruin.

Beginning with the Bolshevik Revolution in Russia in 1917, Marxism-Leninism spread to 150 countries to affect almost every continent.  At its height, Marxism-Leninism ruled over a third of humanity. The cost in human lives is unparalleled in human history.  According to the authoritative The Black Book of Communism: Crimes, Terror, Repression (Harvard U. Press, 1999), 85 to 100 million people lost their lives — due to the direct abuse of the state and wrong-headed disastrous economic experiments like the elimination of private land ownership (collectivization) under Stalin in the 1930s and under Mao (the great communes) in China in the 1950s. The latter “experiment” resulted in the death by starvation of 15 million Chinese peasants — according to the post-Mao Chinese Communist Party.

But the American Left would have you believe that Marxism failed in all those places because it had not been done “right.” And, being the intellectual narcissists that they are, the Left mean to do it “right” this time under Obama.

God help us.

American capitalism gone with a whimper

It must be said, that like the breaking of a great dam, the American decent into Marxism is happening with breath taking speed, against the back drop of a passive, hapless sheeple, excuse me dear reader, I meant people.

True, the situation has been well prepared on and off for the past century, especially the past twenty years. The initial testing grounds was conducted upon our Holy Russia and a bloody test it was. But we Russians would not just roll over and give up our freedoms and our souls, no matter how much money Wall Street poured into the fists of the Marxists.

Those lessons were taken and used to properly prepare the American populace for the surrender of their freedoms and souls, to the whims of their elites and betters.

First, the population was dumbed down through a politicized and substandard education system based on pop culture, rather then the classics. Americans know more about their favorite TV dramas then the drama in DC that directly affects their lives. They care more for their “right” to choke down a McDonalds burger or a BurgerKing burger than for their constitutional rights. Then they turn around and lecture us about our rights and about our “democracy”. Pride blind the foolish.

Then their faith in God was destroyed, until their churches, all tens of thousands of different “branches and denominations” were for the most part little more then Sunday circuses and their televangelists and top protestant mega preachers were more then happy to sell out their souls and flocks to be on the “winning” side of one pseudo Marxist politician or another. Their flocks may complain, but when explained that they would be on the “winning” side, their flocks were ever so quick to reject Christ in hopes for earthly power. Even our Holy Orthodox churches are scandalously liberalized in America.

The final collapse has come with the election of Barack Obama. His speed in the past three months has been truly impressive. His spending and money printing has been a record setting, not just in America’s short history but in the world. If this keeps up for more then another year, and there is no sign that it will not, America at best will resemble the Wiemar Republic and at worst Zimbabwe.

These past two weeks have been the most breath taking of all. First came the announcement of a planned redesign of the American Byzantine tax system, by the very thieves who used it to bankroll their thefts, loses and swindles of hundreds of billions of dollars. These make our Russian oligarchs look little more then ordinary street thugs, in comparison. Yes, the Americans have beat our own thieves in the shear volumes. Should we congratulate them?

These men, of course, are not an elected panel but made up of appointees picked from the very financial oligarchs and their henchmen who are now gorging themselves on trillions of American dollars, in one bailout after another. They are also usurping the rights, duties and powers of the American congress (parliament). Again, congress has put up little more then a whimper to their masters.

Then came Barack Obama’s command that GM’s (General Motor) president step down from leadership of his company. That is correct, dear reader, in the land of “pure” free markets, the American president now has the power, the self given power, to fire CEOs and we can assume other employees of private companies, at will. Come hither, go dither, the centurion commands his minions.

So it should be no surprise, that the American president has followed this up with a “bold” move of declaring that he and another group of unelected, chosen stooges will now redesign the entire automotive industry and will even be the guarantee of automobile policies. I am sure that if given the chance, they would happily try and redesign it for the whole of the world, too. Prime Minister Putin, less then two months ago, warned Obama and UK’s Blair, not to follow the path to Marxism, it only leads to disaster. Apparently, even though we suffered 70 years of this Western sponsored horror show, we know nothing, as foolish, drunken Russians, so let our “wise” Anglo-Saxon fools find out the folly of their own pride.

Again, the American public has taken this with barely a whimper…but a “freeman” whimper.

So, should it be any surprise to discover that the Democratically controlled Congress of America is working on passing a new regulation that would give the American Treasury department the power to set “fair” maximum salaries, evaluate performance and control how private companies give out pay raises and bonuses? Senator Barney Franks, a social pervert basking in his homosexuality (of course, amongst the modern, enlightened American societal norm, as well as that of the general West, homosexuality is not only not a looked down upon life choice, but is often praised as a virtue) and his Marxist enlightenment, has led this effort. He stresses that this only affects companies that receive government monies, but it is retroactive and taken to a logical extreme, this would include any company or industry that has ever received a tax break or incentive.

The Russian owners of American companies and industries should look thoughtfully at this and the option of closing their facilities down and fleeing the land of the Red as fast as possible. In other words, divest while there is still value left.

The proud American will go down into his slavery with out a fight, beating his chest and proclaiming to the world, how free he really is. The world will only snicker.

Obama Ok With Racist Judge

WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama called criticism of Supreme Court nominee Sonia  (Racist) Sotomayor “nonsense” Friday, telling NBC News that while Sotomayor would probably rephrase (lie) her eight-year-old comments on race, she would be “a good judge.”(my puppet)

In an exclusive interview with Brian Williams, anchor of “NBC Nightly News,” Obama said it was important to look at “the entire scope” (what we say the scope is) of Sotomayor’s comments in a speech in 2001 at the University of California Law School.(because it leaves a lot more room to make up lies)

Sotomayor, a U.S. district judge in New York whom Obama nominated to replace Justice David Souter on the Supreme Court this week, said a “wise (racist) Latina woman” with her experiences would more often than not reach a “better conclusion”(my conclusions) than a (evil) white male.

Critics (smart non-racist people) pounced on the comments as evidence that Sotomayor would be an (racist) “activist” judge, but Obama said her comments made it clear that she was “the exact opposite.”(tell a lie often enough it becomes truth)

“I’m sure she would have restated it,”(lied) the president said. “But if you look in the entire sweep of the essay that she wrote, what’s clear is that she was simply saying that her life experiences will give her information about the struggles and hardships that people are going through.(which has nothing to do with following the law and interpreting the Cosntitution)

“That will make her a good judge,”(my puppet) Obama said in the interview, which will air in its entirety next week in a two-part NBC News special on life in the White House.

Judge ‘understands … day-to-day lives’
The controversy over Sotomayor’s comments is likely to come up next week, when she is scheduled to meet with Democratic Sens. Harry Reid of Nevada and Patrick Leahy of Vermont and Republican Sen. Jeff Sessions of Alabama.

Sessions and other Republican senators have said Sotomayor would get a fair hearing and was almost certain to be confirmed. But other conservative figures have seized on Sotomayor’s 2001 speech as proof of her bias against whites and men. Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich called her a “racist” in an online posting.(two thumbs up Newt!)

Obama sharply defended Sotomayor, saying that in her confirmation hearings “all this nonsense that is being spewed out will be revealed for what it is.”(Hopefully, the truth)

In the same speech, Sotomayor pointed out “that it was nine white males who passed down Brown versus Board of Education, which is partly responsible for me sitting here,” Obama said, in reference to the landmark 1954 Supreme Court ruling that made school segregation illegal.

“So that’s hardly the kind of statement that would indicate that she subscribes to identity politics,” he said.(Is that all you got?)

“Part of the job of a justice on the Supreme Court, or any judge, is to be able to stand in somebody else’s shoes, to be able to understand the nature of the case and how it has an impact on people’s ordinary day-to-day lives,”(THAT IS NOT THE JOB OF A SUPREME COURT JUSTICE AND YOU DAMN WELL KNOW IT) Obama said, adding that Sotomayor would be able to understand the concerns of both “the farmer in Iowa” and “a corporate CEO.”

“That breadth of experience, that knowledge of how the world works, is part of what we want for a justice who’s going to be effective,” he said.(HELL, WE DON’T EVEN KNOW YET IF SHE UNDERSTANDS THE CONSTITUTION. AND HOW THE HELL DOES HE KNOW THAT SHE KNOWS “HOW THE WORLD WORKS”.)

Gibbs laments ‘poor’ choice of words
Still, the president implicitly agreed with White House press secretary Robert Gibbs, who called Sotomayor’s choice of words in her 2001 speech “poor.”

Gibbs told reporters that Sotomayor was “simply making the point that personal experiences are relevant to the process of judging, that your personal experiences have a tendency to make you more aware of certain facts in certain cases, that your experiences affect your understanding.”

I have no respect for a tin-pot dictator that rules with an iron fist and starves his own people so he can build big bombs. If anyone wants to see modern day slavery, all they need do is visit North Korea to see an entire nation of slaves, too weak, and too scared to revolt.

Leap in U.S. debt hits taxpayers with 12% more red ink

Taxpayers are on the hook for an extra $55,000 a household to cover rising federal commitments made just in the past year for retirement benefits, the national debt and other government promises, a USA TODAY analysis shows. The 12% rise in red ink in 2008 stems from an explosion of federal borrowing during the recession, plus an aging population driving up the costs of Medicare and Social Security. 

That’s the biggest leap in the long-term burden on taxpayers since a Medicare prescription drug benefit was added in 2003. 

The latest increase raises federal obligations to a record $546,668 per household in 2008, according to the USA TODAY analysis. That’s quadruple what the average U.S. household owes for all mortgages, car loans, credit cards and other debt combined.  

“We have a huge implicit mortgage on every household in America — except, unlike a real mortgage, it’s not backed up by a house,” says David Walker, former U.S. comptroller general, the government’s top auditor. 

USA TODAY used federal data to compute all government liabilities, from Treasury bonds to Medicare to military pensions. 

Bottom line: The government took on $6.8 trillion in new obligations in 2008, pushing the total owed to a record $63.8 trillion.  

The numbers measure what’s needed today — set aside in a lump sum, earning interest — to pay benefits that won’t be covered by future taxes. 

Congress can reduce or increase the burden by changing laws that determine taxes and benefits for programs such as Medicare and Social Security. 

Rep. Jim Cooper, D-Tenn., says exploding debt has focused attention on the government’s financial challenges. “More and more, people are worried about our fiscal future,” he says. 

Key federal obligations: 

• Social Security. It will grow by 1 million to 2 million beneficiaries a year from 2008 through 2032, up from 500,000 a year in the 1990s, its actuaries say. Average benefit: $12,089 in 2008. 

• Medicare. More than 1 million a year will enroll starting in 2011 when the first Baby Boomer turns 65. Average 2008 benefit: $11,018. 

•Retirement programs. Congress has not set aside money to pay military and civil servant pensions or health care for retirees. These unfunded obligations have increased an average of $300 billion a year since 2003 and now stand at $5.3 trillion.
