Help Me Understand

6 07 2010

I need everyone’s help. The vast majority of people that read this blog seem to have a higher than average IQ level, so I thought I would ask for help with a problem.

By now all of you have heard of the conversation that the head of NASA had with Obama. You know, where he says that Obama wants to make NASA go out of it’s way to reach out to Muslims as their main mission. So here is my question… WHAT THE HELL IS OBAMA THINKING???

Seriously, NASA ‘s objective is space exploration, not touchy feel good BS of picking one religion, over all others, to reach out to. Can anyone give me a sensible answer to as to why Obama is doing this?

No. But I think it is the strangest idea he has had.

Just a Muslim reaching out to his fellow brothers.

I really can’t fathom his actions – sue AZ for doing the job the feds won’t due, order a ban on drilling even though the courts cut it down, pass HCR even though the majority of people don’t want it, etc. etc. He’s following Saul Aslinsky’s Rules for Radicals and being controlled by Soros. Course he did warn us he would fundamentally transform America. Elections have consequences…

I know I don’t have a high IQ, but I think that he’s destroying NASA, because it’s one of the things that has made America exceptional. He’s a muslim and will do anything to advance them and diminish us. I wonder is he’s insane, I know he’s diabolical.
A friend told me about this today–
Charles Stanley is inviting us to pray for our country everyday for the next 140 days, (btw, if you’re interested– his sermon (click on the video) Turning the Tide is a powerful message on the state of our country…

Don’t know that what you said is true about my IQ, but thanks anyway, Gio. Maybe ole Barry is just tooted up or drinking too much expensive wine. He is certainly aging rapidly and losing weight.

I have been trying to puzzle this one out myself. The only thing that seems to fit, is his disdain for American Exceptionalism. What better way to ice the cake after a year+ long apology tour, the destruction of our economy, the division of our country in regards to race and immigration, than to dismantle the space agency. One of the very things that said to the world, “We are an exceptional country” We can do anything we put our minds to. Its obvious he either doesnt see us as or clearly does not want us to be a leader in the world and instead desires a level playing field amoung all countries, which does not neccesarily include bringing other countries up to our level, but more along the lines of knocking us down to “where we belong” and showing us that there is nothing special about America. Interesting also that this news more or less broke out over the 4th of July weekend.

This is only the begining,he is going to give us shraiah law .He is making us feel confortable with islam and line us up so they can cut off our heads.Darn

His Muslim Agenda.

Simple as that.

NASA has a huge operating budget and I suspect that he would like very much to get his hands on a large portion of this budget for his social programs. Obviously one of those programs is to promote love and peace with the muslim community.

Yep, those octopus tentacles of the O-Team reach far and wide in this administration…so many, so little time.

I fear it’s too late at times.

sky,

I will not accept the idea that it’s to late. This country is worth saving and if it means a long period of suffering, then so be it. Obama and his piece of crap followers will NOT bring us down. Well, there is one way only they can win… kill millions of patriotic Americans. Ain’t gonna happen cause we won’t let it happen!

While looking for the youtube video for Help Me Understand Part II, I came across this video below. This is another New Black Panther Party video. Here’s the set-up for this vid… “On December 4, 2007 in Pasadena, TX (suburb of Houston) Joe Horn, 61, shot and killed two men that had burglarized his neighbor’s home on November 14, 2007.
Racist Panthers thought they’d show off, marching through this town in defense of the thief who was shot.. Think again! Americans have a right to protect their homes and WILL!”

This video shows how the people of Pasedena TX ran the New Black Panthers out of their town.

If you go to the youtube site to watch this video, be warned that there are some very harsh comments. Not for the kids!

Gio—don’t know if you remember, but the New Black Panthers were in Durham several years ago raising hell about the supposed Duke rape case against the innocent LaCrosse players. I remember the old party beacuse I had a communist sociology teacher in 1969 when I was a freshman. We happened to be in Durham at the time visiting son at NC School of Science and Math which is in the same neighborhood the rape supposedly took place. These guys are dangerous, scary, and they mean business. If they go to the polls in 2010, people will be very afraid. Something MUST be done ASAP!!

DW,

Fortunately, this being brought to everyones attention now will help to keep them in check. If not, then things will get ugly, but I’m betting they won’t be able to keep people from voting.

Not sure what is behind obama or any of the actions he has taken so far in his Presidency but this one does take the cake… Do not see the purpose of religion in the space program on any level let alone Muslims as a leader in space. Do they even have a space program? Is this a way to give them funding to create one without an American uproar? Do they even want to go into space, will their God let them even go down this road into space?
It might be a way to give them free tax dollars to become equal to America… It might be a way to send American dollars to other countries under the guise of space exploration but actually just another way of spreading the wealth to poverty stricken nations…
There is no way of bringing other nations up to Americas level of life however it is very possible to bring America down to their level of life….
This is the first generation in America’s history where the next generation will be worse off then the generation before it…. This government is against everything America stands for and has stood for it’s whole life, and they will make it their mission to destroy her whenever they can and will stop at nothing to do so….

We really need to look at this from another prospective. First of all, muslim isn’t just a religion, but a way of living that controls every aspect of life, called “Islamic law”. That “life” does not include ANY non-believers, and states that eventually the world shall be all believers, those who are not shall be eliminated, as in “Cleansing”, also known as genocide!! When our president went to visit the Muslim dignataries, it was noted that the first lady detoured to France. That is because under Muslim law, a wife is only a possesion and may not accompany her husband. To me that speaks volumes as to our presidents religious leanings! His supporters claim that it was to not offend the Muslims, but now he is asking for Muslim inclusion into our space program. I don’t believe it will be too much farther down the road before we see other “Muslim” concessions and priveleges.
Hold on, it’s going to be a bumpy ride unless we can convince the liberal left how dangerous this man is for America and Democracy…………..

Just a post note, we all need to support the NRA and let your Congressmen know that we will not tolerate a law passed to disarm us!!! If we lose our right to bear arms, we’re screwed!!!!!

I agree, however as a longtime NRA supporter and member I was a little concerned to read that the NRA is poised to back Harry Reid in his Nevada race, I think this bears looking into and perhaps a few letters or emails to get te NRA back on track as well.

The NRA is a one-issue org. and Reid is pro-second amendment, so maybe that’s why they’re backing him.

Im aware of that, I just dont beleive that Reid is truly pro 2nd ammendment.

Koa and Laurie,

I got a call last Friday from the NRA (must be fund-raising season). When I told the person on the other end that I am holding back my $$$ this year until I get a good reason why the NRA is backing Reid, he said… “The NRA is doing no such thing”.

To be honest, I haven’t taken the time yet to check this out but I will. Until I find out the truth, I’m holding on to my yearly gift to the NRA.

NRA-PVF ENDORSEMENTS NOT YET ANNOUNCED IN ANY U.S. SENATE RACE FOR NOVEMBER GENERAL ELECTION

Wednesday, July 07, 2010

For the record, the NRA-PVF has not yet made an endorsement in the Nevada U.S. Senate race. In fact, there have been no announced endorsements for any U.S. Senate seat for the November general elections—period.

For several reasons, we generally do not announce ratings or endorsements until closer to the elections. There are still votes to be graded and other information to be evaluated prior to issuing an accurate grade as Election Day nears.

The NRA-PVF looks at the entirety of a candidate’s record. We start with the candidate’s voting record (if any), along with answers to questionnaires, statements and floor speeches the candidate makes on Second Amendment issues, as well as any action the candidate may have taken as a committee member or leader.

Our endorsements are not given lightly, nor are they issued in every race. An NRA-PVF endorsement is something that has to be earned. As we do every election year, we wait until all the votes are taken and evaluate a candidate’s entire record. Making a decision prematurely, before votes are taken, risks giving politicians a “free pass”—something we can’t and won’t allow.

It is important to note that the NRA is a single-issue organization. Our ratings and endorsements are based solely on a candidate’s support for, or opposition to, our Second Amendment rights. Other issues, as important as they may be to many people, do not and cannot play any role in those decisions. NRA represents a broad coalition of American gun owners, who are bound together by their support for the right to keep and bear arms.

For us to factor non-gun-related issues into our ratings would foolishly divide our unified base of support on the Second Amendment. This policy has served NRA and gun owners well over the past three-plus decades, making us the nation’s pre-eminent pro-Second Amendment advocacy group.

We fully understand that voters must take into account a variety of issues when deciding for whom to vote. We respect that. It is our responsibility, however, to provide voters with information solely on a candidate’s position on gun-related issues so that they may factor that consideration in addition to other issues.

Admittedly, Senator Reid’s record is not perfect; few politicians’ records are. For a number of years (primarily in the 1990s) Sen. Reid had some problematic votes on our issue. But in the last five years, he has dramatically improved his record on our issue, so the NRA-PVF would be irresponsible if it did not give due consideration to those recent votes and actions. There is no doubt that, as Senate Majority Leader, Reid has supported efforts to protect Americans’ gun rights, both by voting FOR pro-gun measures AND preventing anti-gun legislation from reaching the Senate floor.

In 2004, Sen. Reid voted against efforts to reauthorize the Clinton “assault weapons” ban and early last year, flatly stated he would oppose any effort to reinstate an “assault weapons” ban if the Senate were to vote on it in the future. In 2005, Sen. Reid was instrumental in Senate passage (and eventual enactment into law) of the “Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act” (PLCAA). That law shut down reckless lawsuits against gun manufacturers and dealers, which attempted to hold them liable for the misuse of firearms by criminals. Sen. Reid also cosponsored the PLCAA in the previous Congress and voted against the Feinstein Amendment to ban so-called “assault weapons” and the Kennedy Amendment that would have banned most hunting ammunition.

Sen. Reid voted for legislation, which became law in 2006, to prohibit gun confiscation during states of emergency. He also voted for legislation to allow commercial airline pilots to be armed in the cockpit to protect their passengers and crew.

In the last two years, Sen. Reid voted for the Ensign Amendment to repeal the Washington D.C. gun ban and restore self-defense rights in our nation’s capital. He cosponsored similar legislation — S.1414 — in the 108th Congress. He also voted for an amendment to allow law-abiding citizens to carry firearms for self-defense in national parks and wildlife refuges. This federal policy change took effect on February 22. In addition, Sen. Reid voted last year for the Thune-Vitter Amendment to provide national reciprocity for state Right-to-Carry permits. Sen. Reid also voted twice for the Wicker Amendment allowing Amtrak passengers to include firearms in their checked luggage. In his capacity as Senate Majority Leader, Harry Reid made votes on all of these amendments procedurally possible. And these are but a few examples of Senator Reid’s support and leadership on Second Amendment issues.

All of which leads to a very serious question for all NRA members and gun owners who oppose Sen. Reid to contemplate: who would take Reid’s place if he loses his race—and his critically important position as Senate Majority Leader? Remember, the Senate Majority Leader is the gatekeeper who decides which legislation will be considered on the Senate floor. If Sen. Reid loses, the next candidate for Majority Leader is very likely to be Chuck Schumer or Dick Durbin—two of the most anti-gun U.S. Senators in history!

It is critical to the defense of the Second Amendment that we have pro-gun majorities in the U.S. Congress. While no endorsement has yet been issued in this race, nor any other U.S. Senate race for the November general election, rest assured that we will make all of these announcements at the appropriate time and in light of our election policy.
