Protest Tax Day Nationwide

Tax Day April 15th

“Friends, many of you will be going to Washington on April 15th.
However, others of us can’t make the trip. Please coordinate with
your local Patriot Group and encourage everyone who cannot make
the D.C. trip to visit their local TV stations on April 15th, and talk
to the local manager about reporting the truth, not lies. You will
make your local stations pay more attention not only to yourselves,
but also to our people in Washington. Give specific, verified examples.
If local station managers hear our disgust with lies and half-truths,
they will tell their bosses. Inform them that you will be keeping track
of lies being broadcast and will hold them accountable for both local
and network news. Remember, revenue is on the line. Money talks.
Be aware of who advertises on that station. Please don’t let this
opportunity slip away.

“A visit to state or local officials, also, would not be amiss. It
might
be a good thing for them to know that we are holding them responsible,
too.

“This all has to work together for maximum impact. Please help spread

this idea. Copy and post it for your friends and groups. If you like, use it
as your signature line. Just get the word out. Get yourself out. Thank you
for your help. Our future is on the line.”

Join me on April 15th…

I participated in last years’ April 15th rally and plan to attend again this year. Seattle’s was organized by Liberty Belle who again is organizing our event. I’m betting Seattle will have more attendees as our state has now repealed voter-approved initiative requiring 2/3 majority for tax raises. Our leg has now introduced tons of tax raising bills and, get this, today announced a bill to create a voter-approved state income on the “rich”. You can’t make this stuff up.

Here’s photos of those “progressives” in Seattle that want to tax the rich. Notice they can’t even spell…pathetic.

I sure hope, for your sakes, that this revolt isn’t about a return to Reagan- like tax rates. Because if it is, then your march means you will be begging to return to a 50% tax rate on income earned above $175,600, which is where Ronald Reagan felt that the highest tax rate ought to be. He was right, of course, as America saw economic prosperity during his tenure, the likes of which we haven’t seen since. If you were to read his words in his autobiography, and in other biographical works, you’d find that he had very valid reasons for not wanting to drop that rate further, and looking at the economy since he left office, it is easy to see that he was right.

Careful what you wish for. A return to Reagan tax rates is what is necessary, but most Conservatives don’t even know what Reagan believed; if they did, they’d call him a socialist.

You dummy. The vast majority of Tea-Partiers want to see a Fair-Tax established. So take your fake-ass Marxist talking points bs and go check out a good Marxist site like http://www.obama.gov.

I don’t know what tea parties you follow, but the ones I follow talk about “The Return to True Conservative Principles”, and that has NOTHING to do with a fair tax.

Gio, you aren’t going to get rid of me by faking it. You need facts, Junior.

I am an Independent, and a TRUE Reagan economics believer, currently part of the most powerful, by far, voting block in America.

“The vast majority”? Is that supposed to convince me? If you want to take me on in this, you are going to have to bring your “A” game, and from what I’ve seen so far, I’m not convinced you have one.

History lesson for you: The Tea Party movement became famous as a Tax Day protest, protesting not HOW we are taxed, but how much. Also within their first statements were phrases such as “Taxation without representation”, meaning the majority of them believed that our elected officials worked for Special Interests, not citizens. The movement was based on anger at the way Washington did business. I would know; I attended Madison, Wisconsin’s Tea Party last year, and the movement there was MOSTLY Independents. Now, the Tea Party is mostly disenchanted Republicans, which is why most Independents refuse to associate themselves with it.

Thank you.

Maybe in your neck of the woods. Around here most are independents like myself and yes some are pissed-off republicans.

Oh, and for the record… I could care less what you are or what you think you are and I don’t think a dummy like you should be pushing open a door into a blog where you have spent very little time and have very little understanding of, Junior!

Just in your first two postings we have found out that you are either very confused, dumb, or have come aboard just to stir things up a bit. You try to start an argument by invoking Ronald Reagans name. First you cry about not wanting Reagan type tax cuts, then in the next post you talk about how you are a true Reagan economics follower. So go ahead and beat your chest like some silly ape if you want to, but it won’t fly here.

I have been running this blog for 1.5 years now so there’s a lot of material here for you to go through. When you take the time to learn about the blog, I will then happily answer any questions, unless of course you come off like an asshole again. Or…. if I find out you are here to promote Ron Paul or Lyndon LaRouche.

In the meantime, have a great Sunday. Jerk!

I think you’re confused. I DEFINITELY want Reagan type taxes. But what he did and what you want are two very different things. Reagan didn’t espouse tax cuts for the sake of tax cuts, like today’s Conservatives do. There was a limit to how far he was willing to go, for very sound economic reasons.

Also, I HAVE spent some decent time reading your past posts. Yours is not the first conservative blog I’ve visited. I visit both Conservative and Liberal blogs, trying to engage people and begin to change minds. I’ve found that it is very easy to light up liberals and conservatives, which causes me to ask, “What are you defending that makes you so irrational?”

I’ve definitely come to stir things up, because it’s time for Americans to get rid of the two parties that are destroying us, and lose the opposing, stale ideologies that causes people to act like apes. The only major accomplishment of our two parties in the last one hundred years is massive division in America. It’s time to end that.

I’ll engage with you if you are willing. I run a blog, too, for a little over a year and a half myself. Having read your stuff, I already know that there are a few areas we will agree upon, but many areas we won’t. I’ll even engage with you while you act like a child and try to insult me with every other word.

Let’s see if you can engage without doing that. Let’s see if you can engage civilly even when your ideology collides with mine. Because, Gio, your style of conversation would get your ass kicked face to face…regularly. Act as though I am standing in front of you, and I’ll do the same.

What party do you promote?

P.S. Oooooooh, you got me scared. Jerk!

I promote making both parties illegal in America. George warned us about them in his written farewell address, and look where we are now.

The system is garbage, and both parties are almost completely owned by special interests. Our government is fine; it’s the parties and career politicians that are the problem.

All parties, or just the dem and gop?

7 03 2010

All political parties, because sooner or later, they all sell out to the highest bidders.

Mr. Pooper,

What “system” would you support or propose?

7 03 2010

A completely independent system, like the first one.

The first one being…? Can you tell me what it (was) is called?
Thank you.

Now that I see where you are going with this, I would like to say farewell.

We have many things to worry about, trying to do away with parties is not one of them. In a Utopian world I would be on the front lines of this fight. Problem is… I’m a realist. Asking the aparatus to get rid of itself would be akin to asking an elitist progressive to give up their Arugala.

Farewell.

History lesson for you: The Tea Party movement became famous as a Tax Day protest, protesting not HOW we are taxed, but how much.

History lesson for YOU: Tea Parties began in 2/09 w/the help of a Seattlite by the name of Liberty Belle. This was in protest to the “porkulus” spending aka the so-called “stimulus bill” aka the “Generational Theft Act of 2009”. This was not in response to HOW we are taxed, but the out of control spending by our govt. I attended both Tea Parties in Seattle (2/09 & 4/09) and they were both about uncontrolled spending. Do your homework…

Liberty Belle announces a taxpayer protest against the porkulus tomorrow in Seattle:

Gio,

Political parties do such a wonderful job communicating how they are actually part of the government. But they are not. A government without political parties is the very government that wrote our Constitution. Not Anarchy, just a government of the people, by the people, for the people…not one of the Party, by the Party, for the Party. Jeez, that Party government sounds almost like communism.

Now, can you imagine today’s political parties trying to write that document?

It would never be written.

7 03 2010
politicalpartypooper

Angry White Woman,

I do believe it was called A Government for the People, of the People, and by the People. There were no political parties present when our Constitution was written, nor for our first elections.

FACT: There are political parties now…how do you propose to rid them? Not much of a realist believing that we can get rid of them.
