Somebody Gets It

The video below is pretty good at drawing first blood in the California race for the Governers seat. What I find most interesting is that this is a GOP ad against a GOP opponent. Carly Fiorina took out this ad on her GOP rival. Its effective even if only half of what’s in the video is true. Seriously, if  Tom Campbell is anything like the ad then he needs to GO!

I think both candidates are FCINO – and Carly is using Campbell’s voting record against him because she doesn’t have the voting record…but she did serve as an economic advisor to McCain (yeah, that went well), is a big fan of the Rainbow Coalition, and other factors that certainly make her no conservative, IMO. This is how we end up screwed when there is no true conservative running on the R ticket. Has there been a true conservative to come out of CA since Reagan?

DCG,

Since that is your side of the country, I will defer to your knowledge of both of these candidates. That’s my way of covering my butt cause I have no clue if either Republican is Conservative.

Sounds like Conservatism is leaving California along with small business.

P.S. Another darn good reason why I will never send $$$ to the GOP again. The odds are it could end up supporting a RINO or a FCINO.

CA is going to be dead by the end of year…nothing but crap politicians and crap socialist hippie freaks. There might be hope w/Chuck DeVore who is challenging Boxer.

And the GOP is never getting another penny of mine either until they straighen out their priorities and get back to conservatism! screw em…

Gio, a comment I saw about this ad that pretty much sums up Fiorina and all RINOS:

I would have expected the first thing that comes to mind to be the Terminator.

1) Sold as a fiscal conservative
2) Not so much on the actual results side.
