We Keep Warning You!

I have to h/t Doc’s Wife for sending me this insane recruitment tool being used by OFA. This is so scary that you need to take time and ask questions of your children as to what goes on in their school.

When are people going to wake the hell up? First read the piece below, then stop and ask yourself where is the home office for Organizing for America. The answer should kick you in the pants!

Obama Recruiting Radicals in High Schools
Posted By Pamela Geller On January 31, 2010 (3:40 pm) In Education, Obama

This is what our children should be reading!

Barack Obama is using our public school system to recruit for his Alinsky-inspired private army. Organizing for America (OFA), formerly Obama For America, is recruiting in our high schools to “build on the movement that elected President Obama by empowering students across the country to help us bring about our agenda” – that is, his a genda of socialism for the United States of America.

Chuck, a reader of my website AtlasShrugs.com, has a daughter in the eleventh grade in a public high school, Perry Local in Massillon, Ohio. The teacher in her government class passed out a propaganda recruiting paper – headed with Obama’s distinctive “O” logo — asking students to sign up as interns for Organizing for America. You can see the entire intern recruiting form at AtlasShrugs.com.

And what will these “interns” be force-fed? The mother’s milk of the left — anti-war agitation, anti-capitalism, Marx, Lenin, Ayers, LGBT agenda promotion, global warming, pro-jihad, and illegal immigration. For starters. Maybe “Ellie Light,” who has in the last few weeks published the same Letter to the Editor supporting and defending Obama in over a dozen newspapers across the country, can give lessons in astroturfing.

They may be having a party, but it ain't funny!

The form carries a recommended reading list, including Rules for Radicals by the notorious hard left community organizer and Obama mentor Saul Alinsky; two Huffington Post articles by Zack Exley, “The New Organizers” and “Obama Field Organizers Plot a Miracle.” The first of those, published in October 2008, enthuses about “an insurgent generation of organizers” inside the Obama campaign that has, “almost without anyone noticing … built the Progressive movement a brand new and potentially durable people’s organization, in a dozen states, rooted at the neighborhood level.”

During the 2000 presidential campaign, Exley operated the website www.gwbush.com, which was filled with lies about George W. Bush that were designed to kill his chance to become President. The site’s headline was “Just Say ‘No’ to a Former Cocaine User for President.”

Also included on the OFA internship recommended reading list are Stir It Up: Lessons from Community Organizing and Advocacy by the leftist activist Rinku Sen, and sections of Obama’s book Dreams from My Father dealing with his days as a community organizer in Chicago.

And what is the point of all this propaganda and community organizing? To elect more Democrats, of course. This internship program is geared towards the 2010 elections, using our kids as the Democrats’ goons. The internship form begins with a nakedly partisan and propagandistic appeal: “Organizing for America, the successor organization to Obama for America, is building on the movement that elected President Obama by empowering students across the country to help us bring about our agenda of change. OFA is launching a national internship program connecting students all over the country with our organization on the ground – working to make the change we fought so hard for in 2008 a reality in 2010 and beyond.”

Can you imagine if the Republicans attempted such a stunt? Obama is using the public school system to help ensure Democratic victories in 2010, 2012, and thereafter.

This is incredible. And evil. And it is no accident. Obama is poisoning our public school system. He acts as if it’s his own private recruiting farm. This isn’t the first time, either. In September 2009, all public school students were forced to listen to his creepy speech about working hard in school. During the campaign the Obama camp had “Kids for Obama Parades.” And public school teachers more than once were caught indoctrinating children into the Obama cult. Remember the uniformed children chanting about how Obama had motivated them to succeed? P.J. Gladnick wrote about that video at Newsbusters in October 2008 that it was “reminiscent of North Korean kids chanting out their praises for the ‘Dear Leader.’” And don’t forget those many videos of public school kids singing brainwashed tunes of Obama praise.

Long before he was President, Obama’s camp had targeted children and started building a cult of adulation around their hero. The children’s book Barack Obama: Son of Promise, Child of Hope by Nikki Grimes sets Obama up as a demigod: “Ever since Barack Obama was young, Hope has lived inside him. From the beaches of Hawaii to the streets of Chicago, from the jungles of Indonesia to the plains of Kenya, he has held on to Hope. Even as a boy, Barack knew he wasn’t quite like anybody else, but through his journeys he found the ability to listen to Hope and become what he was meant to be: a bridge to bring people together.”

And now once again our perverse public school system abandons academic standards and achievement, replacing them with radical leftist activism from leftwing Alinsky indoctrinators.

Children must be advised to expose this ugly propaganda. Children must tell their parents how they are being used and manipulated. Parents, warn your kids. Better yet, home school. Don’t let Barack Obama recruit his drones from your family.

**************

OFA, Organizing for America, works right out of the people’s house. Yes, that big White House in D.C. The President of the United States of America wants to teach them how to be a good little Marxist Warrior. Come to think about it, teaching your children Rules for Radicals may be an Impeachable offense. If it isn’t, it should be!

Has anyone told him that HE WON ALREADY, he can go sit in the white house and shut the F up………….
Now he is recuiting our young????????? This is one sick Fer……. Gio I do hope you know at some point the F word is going to start flying freely from many of us and I do hope you let it fly freely…..
This man is getting a little to close to my toes and seems any day now he might just step on them and when he does, things will get ugly for him….
There is no excuse for him to be doing this… If we do not have the money in school systems for regular studies we sure the F do not have the money for this shit….. I have a friend in our local high school that I will get hold of and see if this is being taught locally and if it is shit will hit the fan around here…
Thank God I have no school age children left in the public school system and my first grandbaby will not be born for 6 more months… I already told my future daughter in law that I willl pay for private school and my grandchild will not attend public school for even one day…..
This is more Fed up then waking up to oilovemyselfama every morning……..
I wonder how young is this man going to go, I mean what is the youngest age he is going to try and recuit for himself and his agenda….
I also wonder how our new friend gb puts the spin on this one….
THIS IS AN IMPEACHABLE OFFENSE……….. I can not believe he thinks he can get away with it…….. Has anyone sent a copy to Glenn????????? or to Fox in general………

I don’t know what it’s going to take to get people to turn off American Idol/Entertainment Tonight, put down those People Magazines, and start paying attention to what these commies are really up to.

I had thought by this point people would be taking to the streets, but outside of the Tea Parties, that hasn’t happened.

Maybe they will catch on when the feds start forcing them to finance America’s debt with their private retirement money.

Nahh, who am I kidding?

I fear our complacency as a people may yet do us in.

Dave,

It’s going to take something pretty damned drastic at this point. If people didn’t have to worry about putting food in their families mouths, D.C. would probably be on fire by now and every damn politician put on a ship, towed out to sea, and set adrift.

If we could only harness the power of all the millions of people that are presently on un-employment, things might be different.

In the meantime… GET VERY INVOLVED IN YOUR KIDS SCHOOL.

Sometimes I get so damn frustrated with the American sheeple I have to go outside and kick a tree.

And it’s even worse with so many of my fellow “conservatives,” who seem to think all we have to do to “fix” all this is to put a couple more republican fannies in the Congress and all will be right with the world.

They could not be more wrong.

It has gotten to the point where I almost cannot post comments at NewsBusters anymore, for fear I am going to blow an f’ing gasket.

It’s one hell of a coup Obama is pulling off, and 98% of America is missing it.

Wow, you’re all enjoying the Kool-Aid. Will someone explain why John Boehner (R-OH), the House minority leader, invited President Obama to meet with him and other House Republicans on Friday…yet didn’t mention–and has never said anything about–the allegations you’re making here? Wouldn’t you think that if something is happening in his state AND that there is a widespread movement ongoing like the one you imagine, that respectable people in the government and former officials (President Bush and his administration) would be buying air time on national radio and tv and speaking out? Don’t you think they would mention it sometime, somewhere, on Fox or through Rush?

Seriously, people this defies all logic…do you really believe that the people you support would allow something like this to happen WITHOUT MENTIONING A WORD TO ANYONE?

Or do you think President Bush and Dick Cheney are involved, too?!! Maybe they haven’t spoken up because they’re secretly Nazi’s like our President!

Seriously, just because someone says it doesn’t mean it’s true…how about taking things with a grain of salt unless it passes the muster of common sense.

By the way, two final points. First, it’s the people who believe this insane nonsense that the House Republican leadership thinks are extremists. Second, the site you link to atlasshrugs derives it’s name from the novel Atlas Shrugged, written by Ayn Rand. She was a major influence on the economic thinking of Alan Greenspan (whose policies as Fed Chairman encouraged the financial shenanigans which led to the Recession we’re in). Below are two statements, Ms. Rand made in response to her views on abortion and religion. She was famously atheistic, as her interview with Playboy shows. (The quotes are reproduced from the website of the Ayn Rand Institute, which is dedicated to promoting her thought). Here’s the link to the first quote: http://www.aynrand.org/site/PageServer?pagename=faq_index#obj_q6

From a 1964 interview in Playboy magazine:

Playboy:
Has no religion, in your estimation, ever offered anything of constructive value to human life?

Rand:
Qua religion, no—in the sense of blind belief, belief unsupported by, or contrary to, the facts of reality and the conclusions of reason. Faith, as such, is extremely detrimental to human life: it is the negation of reason. But you must remember that religion is an early form of philosophy, that the first attempts to explain the universe, to give a coherent frame of reference to man’s life and a code of moral values, were made by religion, before men graduated or developed enough to have philosophy.

link to the following quote: http://www.aynrand.org/site/PageServer?pagename=faq_index#obj_q5

Excerpt from “Of Living Death” in The Objectivist, October 1968:

An embryo has no rights. Rights do not pertain to a potential, only to an actual being. A child cannot acquire any rights until it is born. The living take precedence over the not-yet-living (or the unborn).

Abortion is a moral right—which should be left to the sole discretion of the woman involved; morally, nothing other than her wish in the matter is to be considered. Who can conceivably have the right to dictate to her what disposition she is to make of the functions of her own body?”

Don’t simply take my word for it…check these out yourself. You might want to pay attention to your sources of information, lest people control your thoughts for their own purposes.

Seriously, just because someone says it doesn’t mean it’s true…how about taking things with a grain of salt unless it passes the muster of common sense.

HA…I apply this theory to what The Traitor says on just about everything! Let’s see…unemployment won’t go above 8%, we will broadcast health care reform hearings on C-SPAN, there will be no lobbyists in my admin, allow public to view bills online, reduce earmarks, blah, blah, blah….not much common sense coming out of DC!

Educating school children in a particular political issue of any sort is the height of immorality in my view!

However refering them to my blog may provide a measure of balance.

There might be global warming or cooling but the important issue is whether we, as a human race, can do anything about it.

There are a host of porkies and not very much truth barraging us everyday so its difficult to know what to believe.

I think I have simplified the issue in an entertaining way on my blog which includes some issues connected with climategate and “embarrassing” evidence.

In the pipeline is an analysis of the economic effects of the proposed emission reductions. Watch this space or should I say Blog

PS The term “porky” is listed in the Australian Dictionary of Slang.( So I’m told.)

DCG, Gio…what are you going to do when the party leaves you behind? It will be like the political version of the Tim LeHaye novels…

Wouldn’t it be something if you actually responded to the reasons given in my posts rather than the emotions you feel when you encounter something you don’t like? Seriously…you announce your belief in God and your violent opposition to abortion, yet you rely on a website named in honor of a pro-choice atheist in order to provide information which supports your conspiratorial belief that the President is organizing his version of the Hitler Youth in a state you’ve probably never even visited? Of course, the pro-abortion atheist’s supporters actually do have an ‘outreach’ program designed for high schools (which they proudly announce on their site: http://www.aynrand.org/site/PageServer?pagename=about_ari)

So why is it that you can persist in your beliefs in a conspiracy when every elected official associated with the party you support laughs off those beliefs?

Seriously, just try to answer this question…if it’s so obvious that President Obama is conspiring in the ways you say…if he’s committing treason, why haven’t the people in the party you support openly declared that they believe what you say? If he is committing treason, why hasn’t anyone…anyone…in the GOP said so? Why haven’t they gone on record with charges of treason and written articles of impeachment? I mean, even if the other Party would vote the articles down, wouldn’t it be the patriotic thing to do to try to let the world know?

Now, I know you can’t really answer the questions because there is no reasonable explanation if it’s really true what you’re saying…or do you believe that you know something than NOBODY ELSE IN THE GOP knows?

Good luck explaining this one…I and everyone else who reads this blog will take your silence as your inability to respond in any serious, reasonable way. I actually want you to keep silent on this…better you do that than twist yourself in logical knots in front of the whole blog. Again.

GB,

There are people that believe that Olaimo is up to something and are trying to do something about it.
1. Orly Taitz has filed a “Quo Warranto” to make Olaimo prove his eligibility to be president.
2. ImpeachObama.com is preparing the paperwork for the people to Impeach Obama, as it is our constitutional right to do so.

If the GOP is so sure that they should support Olaimo, Why haven’t they appeased the population by providing the proof they have that he is elligible to serve? Oh right, because they failed to follow constitutional proceedure and verify his elligibility after he was elected by the electoral college and before his inauguration. Making them as guilty as the Dems and Olaimo of Treason.. Treason, for high crimes and misdemeanors.

You put to much stock in the GOP that is feeding you BS talking points trying to convince me that the GOP cares about anything other than getting elected.

I had a conversation with a man today that has voted Democrat for a long time, he voted for Olaimo. He told me if he could go back he would not vote for him. He also said that Olaimo is the best thing that could have happened for the GOP. He said he will never vote Dem again and will vote Repub from now on. See it doesn’t matter what you say, the Repubs will now get the votes because the people are pissed at Olaimo’S Lies!
Is there a conspiracy? I don’t know, there is a definite agenda to destroy America as we know it!

2 02 2010
DCG

When did I say in this post that I belive in this conspiracy? I never did comment on The Traitor recruiting our kids through the OFA. I don’t have to explain anything since I NEVER COMMENTED ON IT IN THE FIRST PLACE.

I did respond to something in your post – truth and common sense statement. I don’t feel the need to explain my reasons why I choose to respond to some portions or no portions of your postings.

2 02 2010
GB

Perhaps I included you a bit hastily…if so, I apologize. But it just stands to reason that if you believe that someone is a Traitor, but nobody of any prominence is agreeing with you and actively working to stop him through the legal channels, then it must be that there’s a conspiracy to support him.

It’s simply a logical inference based on your comments, but if you do not believe that there is a conspiracy, involving President Obama, to bring down the United States, then I do owe you an apology? Do you believe that President Obama is committing treason and intends to destroy the country?

2 02 2010
DCG

I call him The Traitor…not because I actually believe in any conspiracy per se…just my little nickname for him. I do believe Soros is funded him (an all other extreme libs). Soros is an evil man trying to bring our country down into a socialist state.

The repubs won’t go so far as to state there is a conspiracy involved. Politics is politics and they all have to play the game. Any one who would try to stand up to Soros would be instantly creamed by his money machine & the SRM media. They’d be dead in the game of politics.
