Conservative Tsunami in Massachusetts
MARTHA COAKLEY CONCEDES, SCOTT BROWN WINS IN MASSACHUSETTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Democrats have managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Scott Brown(R), who was considered a long shot just a month ago to replace the late Ted Kennedy for the US Senate seat from Massachusetts has done the unthinkable and taken that seat by defeating Martha Coakley(D). It has been 44 years since a Republican was elected to the US Senate from Mass. the last was Edward Brooke in 1966, who, if you have a sense of irony was the first African American elected to the US Senate in the 20th Century and was the Massachusetts Attorney General before being elected to the Senate.
Liberals love to deride Sarah Palin as dumb, but Martha Coakley could write volumes on stupidity, she takes six days off from the campaign over the Christmas Holidays, one of her campaign ads mispells Massachusetts with an extra “E”, she claims in the last debate with Scott Brown that all the terrorists have left Afghanistan(I guess the Taliban never got that memo) and in one final slap in the face to the peons in Mass. claimed that former Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling was a Yankee’s fan. That had to be last straw for a populace filled with rabid Red Sox fans. Martha Coakley figured that as a Democrat she could coast right in to Ted Kennedy’s seat, but got a lethal dose of reality from Brown when he reminded her and moderator David Gergen at the debate that “With all due respect, it’s not the Kennedys’ seat, and it’s not the Democrats’ seat, it’s the people’s seat.” You could almost hear the audible crash of Coakley’s campaign with that quote. I guess the Democrats entitlement mentality even crosses over to Senate seats just because Kennedy occupied it for 46 years.
Martha Coakley’s failure to be in touch with her constituents lead to her downfall along with a heavy dose of aloofness to a formidable opponent. This is the continuing tsunami that started back in November with the gubernatorial elections in Virginia and New Jersey and this could be just the beginning of a giant Conservative tsunami in this country that in November is going rock the political landscape and wash away the stink and corruption of liberalism, Lord I hope so, we need to sink Obamacare, Cap and Trade and stop the bleeding of our economy through bank buyouts and stimulus(slush fund) payouts.
Come November if this election in Massachusetts is any indication, the Democrats are in for a shellacking of historic proportions even greater than 1994 and the Democrats won’t have anyone to blame but their own arrogance, corruption and self serving agenda, in other words, they will bury themselves under a mountain of BS of their own making.
A WORD OF WARNING: Don’t stand to close to a liberal tonight, their heads might explode, sort of like this:
