Proud Americans

Three years ago, the US Navy Ceremonial Guard Silent Drill Team was invited to compete in an International Tattoo in Norway. The Navy competed against military units from all over NATO and won first place.

Watch this video and you’ll understand why they won. Sound on!

H/t my friend Bob W.!

BEST Trained, MOST Disciplined and BRAVEST Military in the entire World, despite Obama.

Please keep in mind: this is an all-volunteer military. They actually step up and do this on their own volition.

God bless and keep them safe.

Will,

Do you — or anyone else of Giovanni’s World — know how the recent blizzard affected where Gio lives? He’s been MIA all weekend, plus yesterday, plus today. The news says western North Carolina had widespread power outages, but in most places, power is now restored.

If anyone has news, please leave a comment on Gio’s World!

Eowyn,

Hello everyone!!!

I now have rock solid proof that global warming is a joke. We have been without electricity since Friday night. In fact, our power came back on about 40 minutes ago. All because of a huge snowstorm. Global warming my rear-end!

BTW… Things are GOOD! Representative Griffith just had a news conference. H eswitched parties from Dem To GOP because he said his party no longer represent his views. Cool!

Gio good to hear from you man I did not know you had it so bad. We got nothing here in my county beside a 10 min dusting, everything else was just rain. I hope you and the misses didn’t suffer to bad.

Yeah just heard as well this is truly good news let’s just hope he don’t turn out to be another RINO.

Thanks Will,

The past 4 days have been a real lesson in survival. It’s not like we were in any danger, but I learned that I’m not as ready as I thought I was, if and when something was to go terribly wrong (like a citizen uprising against the commies).

We live in one of the counties that border TN, and whenever there is a snow that comes from the south it bumps up against the mountain ranges we live in and sort of stalls. This always leads to heavy snow, and since these mountains have a lot of people living here, the heavy snow creates huge problems. Meanwhile, the rest of the state goes on like any other normal day. You should have been here for the blizzard of 93′. Anyway, thanks for asking about us.

Gio – glad you are safe! I’m sure you have alternative forms of heat when the power goes out.

Our military IS the finest in the world. They will keep us safe. God bless and keep our soldiers safe.

Will – Gio tried to gaslight me into thinking there were NO snowflakes. LOL I’m telling my age – I actually remember the movie Gaslight. Sigh.

Hello Littlemissmuffin long time no type 🙂
Don’t worry LMM you are technically not telling your age you just happen to remember good movies. My Nephew is 21 and he loves classic movies his favorite? The seven year itch. Go figure.

Thanks missmuffin,

Oh we had alternative heat alright, but things got weird when we had our pets (four Poms and two Black Labs) sleep with us on the floor in front of the fireplace.

And I still don’t see any snow on the blog!
😉

Will, I’ve been semi-hibernating lately. Don’t laugh, but if our temp drops below 70 degrees, I just about freeze. Some days I look like the Michelin Man with all my layers of clothes. Yes, I’m a wimp. 🙂 I love the older movies, too. I actually have Gaslight on VHS. A couple of months ago I recorded Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein. IMHO, Abbott and Costello were the best comedy team ever. Remember 7 times 13 equals 28? What a hoot!

Gio – I’m sure your dogs kept you warm. Dogs have internal heaters. My little cocker spaniel curls up in my lap and keeps me warm. No snowflakes, huh? I’m NOT falling for that again! LOL
