Important Healthcare News

4 12 2009

While Americans are busily preparing for Christmas, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and other Democratic leaders are negotiating with the White House behind closed doors to secure the 60 votes necessary to pass the government takeover of our nation’s health care system. In response, Sen. Tom Coburn, M.D. (R-OK), a practicing physician and two-time cancer survivor, has announced that he will host the Senate Emergency Call Rally on December 15 at 1:30p.m .

Thousands of people are expected to take a break from their hectic schedules and heed the urgent call, coming to Washington to demonstrate against the Democrats’ version of health care reform. Those who are unable to travel to Washington are encouraged to protest outside of their respective Senators’ district offices.
