Something Cool to Do

You can send a THANK YOU card to our troops for free!

It’s a wonderful program sponsored by XEROX, called “Let’s Say Thanks.”

If you go to this web site,
you can pick out a thank you card and Xerox will print it and it will be sent to a soldier that is currently serving in Iraq. You can’t pick out who gets it, but it will go to a member of the armed services.

You have a selection of card to choose from, all drawn by little kids. This is the one I picked:

After you’ve selected your card, you’ll have a choice of messages to include. I chose this one:

“Thank you for your service. Your bravery and strength of character represent what America stands for. Bless you!”

After you’ve sent your card, you can go to to read feedback from the troops about the Let’s Say Thanks program!

How AMAZING it would be if we could get everyone we know to send one!!! It is FREE and it only takes a few seconds.
Wouldn’t it be wonderful if the soldiers received a bunch of these? Whether you are for or against the war, our soldiers over there need to know we are behind them.
This takes just a few seconds and it’s a wonderful way to say thank you.    Please take the time and please take the time to pass it on~ for others to do.  We can never say enough thank you’s.

Thanks for taking to time to support our military!

I just sent a card of thanks from my family. This is such a great idea, Xerox deserves a hand for this one.

While at the site I decided to look around and found something I would like to share. Below is a copy of a message from a G.I. stationed somewhere overseas. His was a message of thanks for the cards, but it was his last 6 words that really got to me…

I wanted to pass on a sincere thanks to all of you who put your time into doing something for those of us deployed far from home. Your efforts are not ignored and we do this all for you.

– A U.S. Army Captain

We should NEVER forget that they do indeed do all they do for us back home.
God Bless our wonderful troops! Please keep them safe so they can come home to their families.

Gio, those last six words send shivers down my spine. I cannot stress enough how much I support our soldiers. Seems like what ever little bit we do for our troops is appreciated ten-fold. God Bless Our Troops!
