Obama’s Religion?

4 11 2009

H/T goes out to FS for sending me this youtube vid of our president.

After watching this 9:56 minute vid I wondered exactly what Obama thinks as far as his religious beliefs go. We know he attended a Marxist Afro-Centrist Church for almost 20 years, but as this video shows he has some very strong ties to his first religion. To make things even more confusing, now that he’s president he doesn’t go to Church.

Watch and weep…

While watching this I was reminded of my military days when I had to go on a TDY(Temporary Duty) to Incirlik, Turkey, we were told by our commander that we must never attempt to enter a mosque, non-muslims were forbidden to enter and we would be subject to imprisonment. That being said how is it that Obama, IF he is not muslim can enter a mosque? Just food for thought.

At the 9:33 mark if that look in his eyes doesn’t send a chill down your spine and convince that he is evil personified and a dangerous enemy to this country, nothing will.

No matter what we or Obama think he is, to Muslims the world over, he is and will always remain a Muslim. This is because, in Islam, once a Muslim, always a Muslim.

Even worse, “In most interpretations of Sharia, conversion by Muslims to other religions, is strictly forbidden and is termed apostasy. Muslim theology equates apostasy to treason, and in most interpretations of sharia, the penalty for apostasy is death.” http://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sharia#Muslim_apostates

In fact, on May 30, 2007, Malaysia’s highest court ruled that Lina Joy, a Kuala Lumpur woman, could not convert to Christianity. According to Malaysian law, Joy will remain a Muslim whether she wants to or not, and her religious status will remain on her identity card. http://www.asiasentinel.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=515&Itemid=34

I really don’t care what he does with his Sundays. I’m far more concerned with his activity the rest of the week. As I understand Christianity, it is 24/7/52 much like other valid religions based on faith in a higher power. Past the promise of an after-life, one of the greatest advantages of religion is gaining the understanding that their is a force far greater than oneself. It seems unlikely that Obama will ever master this concept.
