Now everyone knows what the true meaning of “gun control” should be. Obviously, the only “rifleman” there was the last guy. Note the stance–most were actually leaning back to begin with. Even an M-1 Garand will put you on your butt if you don’t lean into it.

Steve, do you know the caliber of that puppy? It appears to be in the neighborhood of 20mm. Those things are generally screwed to the decks of ships.

When the .454 Casull came out we had similar adventures with the same embarrassment to the “experienced” handgun shooters. Taurus has a new addition, “the Judge”, which is chambered for .410 and .45 Colt in a five shot revolver with a three inch barrel. If I had more money than sense, I’d love to have one.

Thanks for the giggles.

Yep, gun control means a firm, two-handed grip. 🙂

I always practice gun control.

Steve, As I read some of these, I was reminded of a story told by Robert Ruark on his first official outing in the bush. The teenager, accompanied by an experienced guide, took aim at a Cape Buffalo with an old Holland double and somehow managed to pull both triggers. The buffalo dropped in his tracks and so did Ruark. The old guide surveyed the carnage and said: “Well, one of you get up!”

Hey Cec, I had to look up Robert Ruark as I was not sure who he was. Wow he was very popular. That’s a very funny story about him. Damn those were the days when men were men and the sheep ran scared………LOL
