By now, you should be aware of the biggest news story of the year, if not the decade:
A few days ago, somebody hacked into the computers at the University of East Anglia’s Climate Research Unit (CRU) and released 61 megabites of confidential files onto the Internet. The files include 1079 emails exchanged among some of the most prominent scientists pushing the Anthropogenic Global Warming (AGW) theory. Revealed in those e-mails are collusion in exaggerating GW data, possibly illegal destruction of embarrassing information, organised resistance to disclosure, manipulation of data, private admissions of flaws in their public claims, and blackballing of dissenting scientists. (See Giovanni’s World’s “Climate Deception” post.)
The archive of over 120Mb of emails, documents, computer code and models from CRU, written between 1996 and 2009, can be downloaded at wikileaks.
Among the thousands of incriminating e-mails is one particular e-mail, #1048799107.txt, which independent journalist Jonathan Brown uncovered. You can also verify this e-mail by going to the Opinion Times website that has all the hacked CRU e-mails. This e-mail presents the Climate Conspirators’ plan for a world government.
Although national governments don’t have to be democratic, the plan paradoxically maintains that the the anticipated World Government would be “democratically” elected by the people of the world. There’d be one delegate/representative per one million people, which means that the larger a country’s population (e.g., China or India), the greater the number of its delegates in the World Government.

To all Peoples of the Earth,
Earth has long been waiting for a truly global governing body based on universal values, human rights, global concepts and democracy. Earth Government might as well be created now, there is no longer any reason to wait. We are the Earth Community, and we will form the Earth Government. Earth management is a priority and is a duty by every responsible person. A democratically elected Earth Government will now be formed, and we want you to reflect on future effects of such an event on the history of humanity. Certainly one will expect extraordinary changes: a reorganizing of human activities all over the planet; participation by all societies on the planet in solving local and global problems; new alliances forming; north meeting with south (eradication of poverty will be the price to pay to get votes from the south) in order to gather more votes within the newly created Earth Government to satisfy power struggles between European, Asian and Western countries; adoption of democratic principles, human and Earth rights, global concepts, and universal values by every human being; expansion of consciousness; gathering and coordinating of forces to resolve social and political problems in a peaceful way (no more conflicts or wars); gathering and coordinating of forces (technologies, scientific research, exploration work, human resources, etc.) to resolve global problems such as global climate, environment, availability of resources, poverty, employment, etc. Thousands more changes!
Let your heart and mind reflect on ‘the good’ of a democratically elected Earth Government. Everyone is part of Earth Community by birth and therefore everyone has a right to vote. Everyone should be given a chance to vote. Decisions will be made democratically.
Earth Government is proposing that:
a) different nations may require different political systems at different times
b) a democratic system is not a “must have it” to be a responsible member nation of the Earth Government
c) all democracies are to be upgraded, or improved upon, to be a responsible member nation of the Earth Government. The Scale of Human and Earth Rights and the Charter of the Earth Government are the newly added requirements to all democratic systems of the world.
In today’s Earth Government it is important for our survival to cooperate globally on several aspects such as peace, security, pollution in the air, water and land, drug trade, shelving the war industry, keeping the world healthy, enforcing global justice for all, eradicating poverty worldwide, replacing the Universal Declaration of Human Rights by the Scale of Human and Earth Rights, and entrenching the Charter of Earth Government as a way of life for the good of all.
Earth needs urgently a world system of governance. The United Nations fail to satisfy the needs of the people of the 21st Century. It has never improved upon the old ways and thinking of the middle of the 20th Century. Its voting system no longer satisfy the 6.157 billion people on Earth. The challenges are different and require a world organization up for dealing with the needs of all these people.
During the past several years, the Earth Government has been pleading the United Nations leaders to make changes in the UN organizational structure and ways of doing things. There has been an urgent need for fundamental changes in the United Nations organization. The decision of the United States Government to invade the Middle East nations and Afghanistan has shown to be a result of this incapacity for changes on the part of the United Nations. A lack of leadership at the United Nations is a major threat to the security of the world. The world wants a true democratic world organization. The UN is not!
The most fundamental requirement of a world organization is a democratic system of voting. Democracy must be a priority. The right that the greatest number of people has by virtue of its number (50% plus one) is a human right. It should be respected. The actual UN system of voting is undemocratic, unfair and noone likes it. It does not work! Earth Government has proposed a voting system based on democracy.
Of the 190 Member States of the United Nations, it takes only one of the five permanent members to overthrow any decision or proposal during a meeting. This means 1/189 or 0.5% of the membership is more powerful than the remaining 99.5%. If that is not a dictature, what is it? It does not say much about democracy at the UN. More like a dictature of the five permanent members. In the Preamble of the Charter of the United Nations, it says “WE THE PEOPLES OF THE UNITED NATIONS ” but in fact it should say “WE THE FIVE PERMANENT MEMBERS”.
The voting system for Earth Government is very simple and practical. One representative per million people. If all countries in the world had decided now to participate with this process we would have today 6,114 elected representatives to form Earth Government. They would form the Legislative body of Earth Government. They could actually all stay home to govern or from some place in their communities. Today communications are more than good enough to allow voting and discussing issues, etc. through the Internet and video conferencing. That would cut cost of governing down to a minimum, at least administrative costs. The Executive body would also govern in this way to cut cost down to a minimum. Ministers can administer their Ministries from where they live if they wish to. There will be a place for the Headquarters. We will show that it costs very little to administer Earth Government, and that we can achieve immense results. There is no limit to the good the Earth Government can achieve in the world. Think! What can do a unified 6.114 billion people determined to make things work to keep Earth healthy?
For the first time in human history, and the first time this millennium, humanity has proposed a benchmark:
* formation of Earth Government
* formation of global ministries in all important aspects of our lives
* the Scale of Human and Earth Rights as a replacement to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights
* an evolved Democracy based on the Scale of Human and Earth Rights and the Charter of the Earth Government
* a central organization for Earth management, the restoration of the planet and Earth governance: the Global Community Assessment Centre (GCAC)
* the Earth Court of Justice to deal with all aspects of the Governance and Mangement of the Earth
* a new impetus given to the way of doing business and trade
* more new, diversified (geographical, economical, political, social, business, religious) symbiotical relationships between nations, communities, businesses, for the good and well-being of all
* the event and formation of the human family and the Soul of Humanity
* proposal to reform the United Nations, the World Trade Organization, the World Bank, the IMF, NAFTA, FTAA, and to centralize them under Earth Government, and these organizations will be asked to pay a global tax to be administered by Earth Government
The political system of an individual country does not have to be a democracy. Political rights of a country belong to that country alone. Democracy is not to be enforced by anyone and to anyone or to any community. Every community can and should choose the political system of their choice with the understanding of the importance of such a right on the Scale of Human and Earth Rights. On the other hand, representatives to Earth Government must be elected democratically in every part of the world. An individual country may have any political system at home but the government of that country will have to ensure (and allow verification by Earth Government) that representatives to Earth Government have been elected democratically. This way, every person in the world can claim the birth right of electing a democratic government to manage Earth: the rights to vote and elect representatives to form the Earth Government.
In order to elect representatives to Earth Government it is proposed the following:
A. Each individual government in the world will administer the election of representatives to Earth Government with an NGO and/or members of Earth Government be allowed to verify all aspects of the process to the satisfaction of all parties involved.
B. Representatives be elected every five years to form a new Earth Government.
C. It is proposed here that there will be one elected representative per 1,000,000 people. A population of 100 million people will elect 100 representatives. This process will create a feeling of belonging and participating to the affairs of the Earth Community and Earth Government.
D. A typical community of a million people does not have to be bounded by a geographical or political border. It can be a million people living in many different locations all over the world. The Global Community is thus more fluid and dynamic. We need to let go the archaic ways of seeing a community as the street where I live and contained by a border. Many conflicts and wars will be avoided by seeing ourselves as people with a heart, a mind and a Soul, and as part of a community with the same.
E. Earth population is now 6.114 billion people. If all representatives had been elected this year there would be 6,114 representatives to form Earth Government. They would be the Legislative elected body of Earth Government. They would participate in some ways in choosing the Executive and Judiciary bodies of Earth Government.
Humanity has now a Vision of the Earth in the years to come and a sense of direction.
May the DIVINE WILL come into our lives and show us the way. May our higher purpose in life bring us closer to the Soul of Humanity and God.

Navy SEALs have secretly captured one of the most wanted terrorists in Iraq — the alleged mastermind of the murder and mutilation of four Blackwater USA security guards in Fallujah in 2004. And three of the SEALs who captured him are now facing criminal charges, sources told FoxNews.com.
The three, all members of the Navy’s elite commando unit, have refused non-judicial punishment — called an admiral’s mast — and have requested a trial by court-martial.
Ahmed Hashim Abed, whom the military code-named “Objective Amber,” told investigators he was punched by his captors — and he had the bloody lip to prove it.

Going berserk over ‘Going Rogue;’ Democrats’ reaction to Sarah Palin book and publicity
Wow, for somebody who’s supposed to be such a political joke, an Arctic ditz and eminently dismissable as a serious anything except maybe a stay-at-home hockey mom, Sarah Palin is sure drawing an awful lot of attention from Democrats and eager critics.
The launch of her “Going Rogue” interviews Monday on “Oprah,” of her book today, of her on-air chat today with Rush Limbaugh at 10 a.m. Pacific and of her mid-America bus book tour Wednesday ignited a surprisingly large blizzard of derogatory Democrat dis-missives.
Every few minutes another note from Democratic National Committee operatives and others dropped into electronic mailboxes across the media-verse, helpfully passing on even the tiniest tidbit of negative news about Palin.
You know how sometimes a friend tells you how much he/she doesn’t really care about….
…someone else. Really doesn’t! And repeats it a sufficient number of times that you become convinced of precisely the opposite?
So maybe she does matter after all.
In ABC interviews to be aired today, Palin says a 2012 presidential bid is “not on my radar,” which is Politician for, “We’ll see.”
One e-mail was headed “Palin’s rough year,” which overlooked her $1-million-plus book contract, the kind of rough patch even many Obama Democrats wouldn’t mind enduring in the current job market.
It contained a quote from respected Republican strategist Mike Murphy about Palin saying: “She’ll have a muscular career as a political celebrity, and she’ll have a voice. I just don’t think that she’s a strong political candidate.”
Accidentally absent from the message was any mention that Murphy was a longtime political intimate and strategist for John McCain, whose feckless 2008 campaign staff comes in for so much criticism in Palin’s book.
(BTW, as a historical aside, that bobbling of Palin was noted in this space on Oct. 2, 2008, in an item headlined: “McCain’s ‘Stop Sarah Palin’ strategy working like a charm.”)
There was another headline arriving Monday, saying Palin has no political future and attributing that to Bob Schieffer, a newsman at CBS.
That’s the TV network that produced the disastrous Palin interviews of 2008 (detailed in Palin’s book) and this year’s late-night sex joke about an underage daughter of Palin’s.
We also received word of a new survey: “Just over half of Americans in a new ABC News/Washington Post poll have an unfavorable opinion of her overall, as many say they wouldn’t consider supporting her for president and more – six in 10 – see her as unqualified for the job.”
And early this morning Noel Sheppard reports on a Palin panel that got out of hand last night on CNN. (Noel happens to be one of my favs over at NewsBusters. Gio-)
One of the more interesting but surprisingly not surprising anti-Palin bits came in news from HuffingtonPost, which published word that ex-VP Al Gore’s TV channel Current has broadcast a cartoon which says Palin’s real Twitter name is “Gun-Ho” and refers to Palin as a TWILF.
That’s a play on a crude acronym thrown at Palin during the 2008 campaign, “VPILF.”
The Web item suggested disingenuously that TWILF stood for “Tweep I’d Like to Follow.” The F actually stands for another verb we don’t choose to publish here. But it is indicative of the vehemence already directed at the conservative female former Alaskan governor. As if some see her developing into a danger before she does.
Palin will have ample opportunity in coming weeks and months to rehab her image and soar into a new political life, at least as a bounteous political fundraiser, or burn out like one of the incoming space rocks in last night’s Leonid meteor shower. And there’s plenty of time, too, for other Republicans to emerge.
What’s very interesting beyond Palin’s show biz book-selling promotion is a possible developing change in the way U.S. presidential candidates emerge as new media enables newcomers to become known to voters faster than previously.
All of the last three presidents achieved the White House on their first try. Each of them held another elected office at the time — two governors and one senator.
However, at the moment, none in the current field of potential Republican candidates — Palin, Mitt Romney, Mike Huckabee, Newt Gingrich, and soon Tim Pawlenty — holds an office, allowing them to raise the multi-millions and collect political chits full-time for a realistic 2012 campaign in which the concept of change to believe in will switch to the GOP side.
That kind of selection process would be more akin to parliamentary democracies like Canada where prominent figures can become political party leaders and then get elected to office and lead the government or opposition.
One thing is certain: The current crop of GOP leadership, both within and without Congress, makes Benadryl seem like a stimulant. Love her or hate her, that chemistry changes this week with the addition of what’s-her-name.

Rasmussen reports Obama’s Presidential Approval Index fell to -15. Another record low.
This Thanksgiving is looking better than ever.
Rasmussen’s Obama Approval Index has now been in negative double digits for nine straight days. Last week the index stood at the previous record low, -14, for three consecutive days.
According to Rasmussen, support for the Democrats’ Obamacare has fallen to a new low of 38%. Sixty percent of voters believe passage of the bill will lead to higher health care costs.
Rasmussen Reports presidential job approval ratings are based upon a sample of likely voters, rather than samples of all adults. Obama’s numbers are always several points higher in a poll of adults rather than likely voters because some of Obama’s most enthusiastic supporters, such as young adults, are less likely to turn out to vote.
It’s not just Rasmussen, Gallup, Quinnipiac, and Hawkeye all find Obama’s approval to be 48%.

John Christy, a scientist at the University of Alabama at Huntsville attacked in the emails for asking that an IPCC report include dissenting viewpoints, said, “It’s disconcerting to realize that legislative actions this nation is preparing to take, and which will cost trillions of dollars, are based upon a view of climate that has not been completely scientifically tested.”

Not only is ACORN a criminal syndicate, it is also lazy and stupid.
Instead of using a paper shredder, ACORN-San Diego dumped thousands of pages of incriminating documents on the eve of a visit by the California Attorney General’s office.

This morning, Rasmussen Poll finds that only 38% of voters now favor the health care plan proposed by President Obama and congressional Democrats. That’s the lowest level of support measured for the plan in nearly two dozen tracking polls conducted since June. 56% now oppose the plan.
Half the survey was conducted before the Senate voted late Saturday to begin debate on its version of the legislation. Support for the plan was slightly lower in the half of the survey conducted after the Senate vote.
But Obama and the congressional Democrats plutocrats don’t give a fig, and are determined to jam this abomination down our collective throats.
Thomas Jefferson once wrote these immortal words in the 1776 Declaration of Independence:

We no longer have a government by the people, of the people, for the people.

A message from Jack Urban to all members of North Carolinians for the Preservation of the Constitution on Patriotic Resistance!
Hey Perry D. I have been to 5 Tea Party’s and have made two trips to Washington (9.12, and to meet with Michelle Bachman) and frankly I am getting very frustrated that all our efforts seem to have been in vain.
The problem is short of dropping a bomb on the Capital the Congress criminals do not care what we think and are blindly following Obama’s Marxist agenda and we the people be damned.
I think what is needed is to shut down the county with a nation wide strike; get all the independent truckers to park their rigs blocking traffic from coast to coast and do not move until we the people are heard. Or! What else I do not know, short of an armed assult on the White house and hang Obama upside down from a cheery tree.
Frankly i do belive that we have to do something drastic; just protesting is not working and meeting just talking about ideas is getting no place. If Obama care comes to pass, and we are told to pay up or go to jail; I am willing to sit in jail; how about you?

When the news broke about the hacked emails and database showing intent to mis-lead the world about Climate Change I was thrilled, but I was dealing with my favorite Dog that had been bitten by a Copperhead Snake, so my enthusiasm may not have come through in my postings.
I then read the “Articles Of Impeachment” that Eowyn had posted here. Reading through them gives me hope, along with The Oath Keepers pledge that has been gaining in membership like crazy.
That hope I had started to feel gave way on Saturday evening when the most expensive whore in history was revealed to the American people. She got $300 million dollars and we got the shaft. That one Senator, I mean whore, has only made things much worse for any of the Republicans that were thinking about going back to Reagan Conservatism ideals. Those Republicans may be forced now to run on a 3rd party ticket. I don’t have a problem with 3rd party tickets, I just know the reality of how difficult it can be not being with the GOP or the DNC. Never mind we got one step closer to Centralized Government.
Later in the very same evening the news slowly leaked out as to what Glenn Beck is up to. Even this photo, that will someday be considered an iconic pic of the times we live in, lifted my spirits. My personal interpretation of this pic shows a man that does NOT have his eyes on taking the White House, he seems to be more interested in the people in the streets. That’s the kind of leader this country needs, IMHO.
Knowing what a Roller-Coaster ride of emotions it has been over the last few days, I have to assume that a lot of the readers that stop-by this blog have the same feelings. So with this being the beginning of Thanksgiving week I’m going to try my best not to post so many pieces that give you, and I, whiplash.
This is a good time to be thankful for what we have in this great nation, and to resolve ourselves to the task of keeping it that way. And for all of you that may be traveling to family and friends to share the bounty of this great nation, you must make a promise to yourself and your children to spread the word to those that will listen at your gatherings. It is time to stop the spread of the disease known as Liberalism because it has morphed into Facist/Communism, and the only way to exterminate it is through others that trust your judgement. Pray that they understand the warning you bring to them.

It seems as if this Brit has had an unattended injury to the head. Or maybe he’s just pissed off that we hacked into one of their prestigious organizations only to find out that they have been LYING to everyone on the planet about Global Warming.
So far today we have had one Brit that wants to take down Obama, now we have another who evidently wants to dismiss Sarah Palin and those like me that believe in her.

In the film, The American President, the president’s speechwriter Lewis Rothschild (played by Michael J Fox) appeals to the commander-in-chief to take a firm, clear stand against the Right. “People want leadership, Mr President, and in the absence of genuine leadership, they’ll listen to anyone who steps up to the microphone.” he says. “They want leadership. They’re so thirsty for it they’ll crawl through the desert toward a mirage, and when they discover there’s no water, they’ll drink the sand.”
The president (played by Michael Douglas) retorts that the American electorate’s problem is not a lack of leadership but an undiscerning palate.
“We’ve had presidents who were beloved, who couldn’t find a coherent sentence with two hands and a flashlight,” he says. “People don’t drink the sand because they’re thirsty. They drink the sand because they don’t know the difference.”
As the faithful wait in line in small towns across the country (some for more than a day) to see Sarah Palin on her book tour, the question of whether the US is deprived of a competent political class or gets the leadership it both deserves and truly desires seems as pertinent as ever.
On the one hand there is roughly between a quarter and a third of America that will clearly believe anything. That is the figure that strongly approved of George Bush’s handling of the economy last year after the collapse of Lehman Brothers and the bailout. That same figure, in the immediate aftermath of hurricane Katrina, believed that Bush’s response to the disaster was “about right”, and still supports the war in Iraq.
That also happens to be approximately the same proportion of Americans who back Palin for president. Most data suggest the overlap is considerable. Palin’s rise to prominence, from little-known governor to one of the most popular and arguably most charismatic Republicans in the country in just a year, has been startling. She had a thin record when she was picked to run as vice-president. Today, having quit the Alaska governorship mid-term and published a bestseller, only her wallet is thicker.
Her resignation speech was so rambling that you would have struggled to find a coherent sentence with an industrial-strength searchlight. “Let me go back to a comfortable analogy for me – sports,” she announced. “I use it because you’re naive if you don’t see the national full-court press picking away right now: A good point guard drives through a full court press, protecting the ball, keeping her eye on the basket … and she knows exactly when to pass the ball so that the team can win.” This was not the answer to a hostile interview from the “liberal media elite” but a prepared speech of her own making.
It would be easy to discount her as just a media phenomenon who would go away if we stopped talking about her. That would be a mistake. It would be even easier to poke fun at her as just a small town hick who has blundered into the limelight with a nod, wink and a “you betcha”. That too would be a mistake.
For the very things that liberal commentators ridicule her for – being inarticulate, unworldly, simplistic and hokey – are the very things that make her attractive to her base. Indeed, every time she is taunted she becomes more popular because it reaffirms the (not entirely mistaken) view that the deeply held values of a sizable section of the population are being disparaged.
The same dynamic was true for George Bush, but with one crucial exception. Bush is the scion of a wealthy family who turned his back on the cultural trappings of his class while embracing the social confidence and political and financial entitlement that came with it. Palin had none of those advantages: she grew up far from power and privilege in every sense.
The difference in their comfort levels when put on the spot with simple questions was evident when each was asked about their newspaper reading habits. Bush was cocky: “The best way to get the news is from objective sources. And the most objective sources I have are people on my staff who tell me what’s happening in the world.” Palin froze: “I’ve read most of them … all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years.”
In her world, Ivy League is a slur; cities are not the “real America”; and those who know the price of arugula but cannot handle a rifle are not to be trusted. Palin is the antithesis of an aspirational figure. Her supporters love her not because they want to be like her, but because they already are like her. So for better and for worse, Palin is an entirely self-made – and, if her book is anything to go by, self-invented – personification of the kind of political animal Bush sought to both emulate and nurture. Bush was Palin-lite.
To that extent her performance over the past year has been more tragic than comic. Palin represents the thwarted aspirations and brooding resentment of a large section of white working class Americans. That is not to suggest that her supporters are necessarily racist, but polls show her support is racially exclusive.
Her base has plenty to be resentful about. Their wages are stagnant, their economic security has eroded, and their prospects for social and economic advancement have stalled. In 2004, white Americans were the only racial group for whom the poverty rate actually rose. The fact that it was lower than every other group is of little comfort. Demographically, they are set to become a minority by 2042. Geopolitically, the country for which they display so much patriotic fervour has lost one war, is losing another, and is regularly lectured by others about the urgency of putting its fiscal house in order. America is not what it used to be. The country they keep saying they want to “take back” no longer exists and is not returning.
So when Palin rails against Washington DC, bank bailouts and elitist media she catches their ear. The longer unemployment keeps rising, house prices keep falling and universal healthcare continues to be elusive, the more ears there will be. Motivated, organised and angry, Palin’s wing of the Republican party does not have the numbers to make bad things happen; but, as it showed over the summer during the healthcare town hall meetings, its determination to derail good things should not be underestimated.
The trouble is that while many of their grievances are well founded, their affection is certainly misplaced. None of their problems can be remedied by the politics championed by Palin. Indeed, the greater the traction her politics gets, the worse things will be for her base. The America whose passing they mourn was lost precisely because of the freemarket, low-tax, warmongering agenda she advocates.
To crawl through the desert in search of water only to find sand is disappointing; to not know the difference between water and sand is delusional; but to go looking for sand in the belief that it will truly quench your thirst, not once but twice, well that is truly depressing.
