Massachusetts Passes Unconstitutional H1N1 Flu Bill

23 09 2009

Both houses of the state legislature of Massachusetts have now approved the unconstitutional bill on the H1N1 “swine” flu. All it takes for the bill to become law is Democratic Governor Deval Patrick’s signature. He already said he’ll sign the bill.

Deval Patrick is the other guy.

Deval Patrick is the other guy.

The “pandemic response bill” says if there is a flu pandemic, the governor can declare a state of emergency.  At which time, citizens can be vaccinated against their will. Those who refuse the H1N1 vaccine can be quarantined and fined. Neighbors are encouraged to report on each other. The bill also authorizes forceful entry into private dwellings and destruction of citizen property. All of this is in violation of the U.S. Constitution’s Bill of Rights.

Tom,

We just got a little closer to that day of reckoning we were talking about. If the people of Mass do NOT stand-up against this then they deserve what they get!

Apathetic Americans are really PISSING ME OFF!

Um, any suggestions? (Other than bolting for New Hampshire, which looks rather tempting at the moment…)

Incredulous though I am that Massachusetts people seem to be acquiescing to this unconstitutional bill, they are the very same people who re-elected Ted Kennedy again and again and again to the Senate.

I have never voted for Kennedy, nor Frank, Kerry! Can’t stand any of them, and I just want to get out of Mass! Thank God I have several relatives in NH also X hubby’s family has 2nd summer home up there that is empty in the winter. Bearing in mind that I have there grandchildren and we are on great terms I see no problem in going there if need be!

I just don’t get the ppl here in Ma. Why are they not caring about this nor fighting it? It blows my mind!

GOT NEWS FOR YOU ITS NOT DEMOCRATS ONLY ITS HOUSE AND SENATE THAT PASSED THIS UNCONSTITUTIONAL FLU BILL. ONE REPUBLICAN SENATOR ON FOX NEWS WAS ASKED IF HE READ THE BILL AND HIS EXCUSE WAS THERE WAS TOO MUCH ON THEIR PLATE AT THAT TIME. THATS A LIE THEY GET PAID TO PASS CERTAIN BILLS. THEY DONT HAVE TO READ SO THAT MEANS ANYONE OF US CAN BE A SENATOR IF WE SO CHOOSE TO BE ONE. SHAME ON ALL OF THEM. WE NEED TO FIRE ALL OF THE OLDER GENERATION. PUT SOME YOUNG PEOPLE IN THERE GET RID OF LOBBYISTS AND RECORD EVERYONES OFFICE TO MAKE THEM STAY HONEST.

Age has nothing to do with it. There are old scum-bags and young scum-bags, the trick is finding honorable people of any age, any color, any sex, any anything. We simply need honest people that will govern by the Constitution!

One other reason why I personally prefer an older person…. WISDOM!

Unbelievable…can’t believe the people of that state don’t care about this. They really have become sheeple to their government.

Some one has got a great lawsuit with the state.

This is why you cannot find ammunition for your weapon right now.

LOL, I can find ammo….whats the problem K Williams?

Even If you have it I don’t think it will be much help due to the fact that they will be using the National Guard to KICK in your doors!

The thing that bothers me the most about it is the FORCING of the H1N1 injections, you take it or they will fine you $1000.00 a day until you do! WHERE is the ACLU when you need them? Crips there has to be a Lawyer that will get out there and fight this one. Also we have allergy’s here in this house to food products so indeed the shot could actually kill us. I understand there are egg products used in the vaccine!

Yes, I am in MA — a real mission field where one has to both be bold AND tread carefully.

As a result of that, it’s a very strange set of political dynamics. In-your-face, ‘cowboy’ tactics (rallies, etc.) simply don’t work because of the numbers and there really aren’t any serious God-centered conservative candidates. One can have the satisfaction of being yelled at by liberal die-hards, but the deck is stacked legislatively. Every representative I could write to (and I do) is so hard-over to the left that it’s pointless.

That’s not defeatism, merely realism. I am just as frustrated as y’all.

Ultimately, I know God continues to open doors in individuals’ hearts, and with that, eyes and ears to His truth. Banging away on closed doors with political messages — I’ve found — tends not to work. God first, then Godly worldview, then certain political conclusions flow from that.

Bob – fishing (both kinds) sounds awesome! :)

ultraguy,

I now have a better understanding of your hesitation to dive into the political battlefield.

I am in the same situation here in the People’s Republic of Berkeley-California, perhaps even worse. I actually have a quantitative measure of my minority status: In the 2004 election, only 7% of Berkeley voters voted for Bush.

That’s why the good Lord provided us with blogs! ;)

ultra,

Ok, now that I understand your situation better I can give you the one and only suggestion I can… move!

I’m very serious. If you are paying outrageous taxes and getting zero representation then you only are left with two choices. The first choice is to change the make-up of your representatives. But realistically, what are the chances of that happening in the next 15-20 years? I’m guessing slim.

So then the second option becomes the only option. If you have to continue to work in Mass maybe you could buy something just across the border and put up with a commute. Or you could go all the way by packing up everything, tidy-up your resume’ and head to a state that has no Income Tax and is very friendly to those that still believe in freedom.

The quarantine aspect gives reason for those FEMA sponsored camps that “don’t” exist. Now they have leagal reason to rip you from your home and put you in a concentration camp… for whatever reason they happen to tell everyone else.
