Here is a common sense approach to our financial woes. Which immediately tells me that the Obama administration will never do it.

Cancel the 2010 Census – We can’t afford it.
FIND the 10% waste in Medicare and STOP IT – We can’t afford the waste.
Halt the hiring of 800 IRS Agents – We can’t afford them.
No more Air Force 1 Photo Trips – we can’t afford it.
Immediate hiring freeze for ALL federal depts. until the budget is balanced (except for Judiciary, Military, CIA, FBI, Border Agents, Homeland Security) – we can’t afford to support all any more people.
Cut every department’s budget by 10% plus cut all personnel by 10% (except Judiciary, Military, CIA, FBI, Border Agents, Homeland Security) – we can’t afford them.
Cut all money going to the UN by 30% until after we balance our budget – we can’t afford more.
Cut all monetary foreign aid to every country immediately…the only foreign aid that will be supplied is Military help, food, medical supplies, tractors, seed, farming equipment – we can’t afford it.
By June 2010 (right before the 2010 election) eliminate the Federal Government’s retirement program, all federal pension funds will be rolled into the Social Security Program. All federal employees will pay for Social Security and be on Social Security from now on – We can’t afford a better program for you than what you give us.
No more Government bonuses (except for Military signing bonuses) until after the budget is balanced – We can’t afford it.
All Senators, House Members & their staff and especially the Speaker of the House – Taxpayers will only pay for two trips for you and any of your family members back to your home state per quarter. The trips will be on commercial transportation. We can’t afford more than 8 trips per year for you & any of your family.
All federal government (excluding military) will have their health care program eliminated when the Government health care program is passed in the House & Senate- ALL federal employees will then be on that health care program….we can’t afford to buy you a better health care plan than what you’re giving us!
