Liberals Are Racist

21 05 2009

You may have noticed recently that I’m spending much of my time on the subject of race, and you may be wondering why. My immediate answer is… “why not talk about race?”. Ok, I’ll stop being obnoxious and get to the point.

Race, or to be more specific, racism, is a subject that people do not talk about much anymore. Actually, It’s mostly conservatives that don’t talk much about racism anymore and there’s a damn good reason for it. Liberals have used racism as a club with which to beat-up on conservatives for such a long time, that we conservatives have shied away from even discussing race. This in my estimation is bullshit!

In the near future we are going to have a national discussion on illegal immigration. Or should I say ‘a national shouting match’. Our president and his Democrat minions will once again try to use the ‘racist’ taunt to shut down any push back from not only conservatives, but anyone that comes out against I-L-L-E-G-A-L immigration. And what will the left use as proof? How about this for proof…

The info below comes directly from Understanding Race.Org a pre-eminent organization on the subject of race and it’s history in the USA. The paragraphs highlighted in blue, is their historical proof that we are racists.

Society: 1980s-2000s
Anti-Immigrant Movement and Racial Profiling

The U.S. experienced increased immigration from former Soviet states and Eastern Europe after the collapse of the Soviet Union in the late 1980s. But since the Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA) of 1986, also known as the Simpson-Mazzoli Act, U.S. immigration law and anti-immigrant sentiment has largely been focused on illegal immigration from Central America. The 1986 law was intended to reduce the large number of U.S. immigrants who were either illegal or unemployed. Employers who knowingly hire an illegal immigrant may be subject to financial and other penalities. However, the law included a one-year amnesty provision for illegal immigrants who had lived and worked in the U.S. since January 1982. The 1986 IRCA amnesty offered more than 2.7 million immigrants and others without appropriate visas the opportunity to apply for and receive legal citizenship.

With the passage of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) in 1992 and increased (illegal) immigration from Central America, some states and local municipalities created legislation to discourage (illegal) Mexican immigrants from settling in their communities. Many localities actively practiced discrimination against recent (illegal) immigrants, especially those from Central America, by establishing ordinances that restricted (illegal) day laborers from congregating and finding adequate housing, thereby limiting economic opportunities. In 2006, Congress proposed several measures designed to deal with the problem of illegal immigration and the resulting backlash.

That’s it, that’s their proof. Well, that and the one lady holding the sign of course (below)!

And in case you were wondering, I had to edit-in the word “illegal” in red four times.

Take the ‘I am not a racist’ pledge.

Every time I see a sign like that, I’m struck by just how petty “protesters” have become in this country. Elsewhere, one might be arrested, beaten, or simply shot outright for daring to whisper anything insufficiently praising of tyrants. Here, we’ve fallen from “We shall not be overcome” to waving placards inscralled (there’s certainly nothing scribe-worthy about it) with buzzwords the ignorant fools don’t even understand. Between this and how far we’ve drifted from the course our Founding Fathers set, I can’t help but wonder if the country actually needs to be violently reset. Maybe some years lived in hardship would help plant the people’s minds back in reality…

I agree with you when you say that wanting to stop I-L-L-E-G-A-L does not make one a racist nor does the need to secure our borders makes us isolationist, at least not in these times.

I also agree with you regarding the F-A-C-T that liberals specially the Kalifornia kind are racist and they only give lip service to the other races when they need their votes or are forced to do so when strategically necessary. My proof, you will ask? You only have to watch the condescending “dog puke” they push on television and the movies day in and day out.

By the way, has anyone watched the movie IDIOCRACY? It may depict the future of the United States at the hand of the Marxist crowd, plus I think it’s kind of funny.

Fred,

Like you, I too am a “prisoner” of the People’s Republic of Kalifornia that is sliding into the abyss. Thanks for the tip on “Idiocracy.” I’ll definitely find myself a copy & watch it!

Janice (aka myfatherseyes),

Of course, as you so rightly points out, being against illegal immigration is not racist. We are against it because it’s against the law, pure & simple. Yes, it so happens that the overwhelming majority of illegal aliens are from Mexico. You and I both know that if they were blue-eyed “white” Scandinavians, we’d still be opposed to illegals.

Racism is America’s Original Sin. Being called a racist is the trump card that the Left deals. Conservatives must fight back against this insidious lie. One way is to take the “I am not a racist” pledge!

Haha I watched Idiocracy a few weeks ago and I was thinking how this could be the future of America if liberals run amuck. What is cool right now is that people are going to the border to protect it instead of counting on our lame government to do the job.

I’m still Jan Moon (as in Janis Shepard) but I am launching yet one more new blog dedicated to my father, who was neither racist, norliberal. Oh yeah, he wasn’t imperialist, either. On the other hand, last September or October I was labeled a racist in the nanosecond between the time I said I was voting for McCain and the time my co-worker opened his pie hole to accuse me. This underscores the amount of “guilt votes” for the Prince of Darkness, who chooses to label himself “black” even though he’s not.

As for the (illegal) immigrants, just where does the race card come in? I’m opposed to the ILLEGAL part, not the fact that they make an awesome quesadilla. To paraphrase Tallulah Bankhead, some of my favorite food is Mexican. What a crock.
