Let's Take Her Down!

 

Intrepid Gio’s World member, Steve, called the Congressional Ethics Oversight Committee to lodge an ethics complaint against repeated liar, Congresswoman & Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi. The committee responded by sending Steve a tsunami of paperwork. Holy Cow! Our government sure does not want to make it easy for citizens, The People, to lodge complaints against their elected representatives!

Here are the docs Steve received. We here on Gio’s World will sure appreciate someone wading through this paper tsunami to draft an ethics complaint against Pelosi that all of us can use.

Dear members of the Congressional Ethics Committee,

I, (your name here), residing at ___, phone # ___, e-mail ____, would like to open an Ethics violation case against the Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi.

I believe she has lied to the American public, and to Congress and to the C.I.A. Repeatedly, she has stated an untruth — that she was not informed and knew nothing about waterboarding of prisoners. She has changed her story 3 times now, the latest on May 14, 2009.

I believe her lying to the American people, Congress, and the C.I.A. has put me, my Family, and our nation at a greater risk for terrorism. With all due respect, I ask that you investigate this matter before more damage is done to our great nation and more American lives are put at risk.

I acknowledge that section 1001 of title 18 of United States code (commonly known as the False Statements Act) applies to the information provided.
