I’m going to try my best to post an Open Thread every day of the week. Not only will it give you a place to vent and talk, about subjects that interest you, you will also be helping Giovanni’s World.
I would kindly like to ask the following request. When you write comments about a particular subject, please try to keep the comments, videos, and links, somewhat related to the subject at hand. If you have something you want to share with the rest of the blog, please leave it for the Open Thread. Darn near everything can go in the Open Thread, just keep it civil, tasteful, and fairly clean.

Has anyone else noticed that any and all of the “truth” restraints have been obliterated from the news media? I mean, nothing at all is required to be truthful to be broadcast or printed. It’s like the government has the press’ back, legally speaking.
Sort of a symbiotic relationship, as it were.

Heck, the “truth” restraints don’t stop with the media, they even go as far as our representatives. Here in WA state, they are discussing a state income tax. I heard on the radio a rep say “sick people will die if voters don’t approve a sales tax increase.” This was in reference to a senator’s poster that says, “Tax the Rich or Kill the Poor”. I live in bizzarro world here!

Good grief…how about a connection between speaking English and living in the United States?
In high school (way back when) I was taught to speak the native language of a country when you visit it. That was the polite thing to do and you would be well received (at least for your efforts). You’d think any one living in the US who couldn’t speak English would want to learn so they could communicate. Just a silly thought I guess…

The other night I caught part of “The Onion Movie” on G4. It was a lot like “The Kentucky Fried Movie”. Since it was edited and broken up by commercials I’m going to rent it some night. I ended up turning over to a Gary Oldman movie called “Chattahoochie”. I highly recommend it-if only to illustrate where conservatives are going to be institutionalized lol.

Maybe you have seen this but I recently found a video that is frankly confusing as well as disturbing. I understand that it is intentionally inflamitory and that it is designed to create fear…IT DID. BUT…it it also quite well done, backed up by what seems to be legitimate information. Not to be a downer, but this thing freaks me out. Please watch this when you have the time and give me your impression. It is quite long, but I am glad I took the time.

NOW….Since I have an open mind for “Conspiracy Theories”. I just watched a video that was released less than 2 weeks ago and seems to be legit. I REALLY hope that this is not true but it fits with other information that I have found about WTC7. If you are interested, I will give you 2 unrelated links link that support (Strongly) that at WTC7 was likely a controlled demolition.
