This is insanity!
According to our government’s Department of Homeland Security, we are considered to be “right-wing extremist terrorists” if we are Christians and pro-2nd Amendment gun rights, or if we are against Big Government, abortion, illegal immigration, or a one-world government.
We are forewarned. Be afraid. Be very afraid.
Our government is clearly trying to intimidate us into silence. Don’t be bullied! Each of us is not alone. There are millions standing shoulder-to-shoulder with us.
Be brave of heart! For there is nothing for us to fear. It is the Obama-Pelosi-Reid regime that should tremble in fear.

Homeland Security on guard for ‘right-wing extremists’
Returning U.S. military veterans singled out as particular threats

WASHINGTON – A newly unclassified Department of Homeland Security report warns against the possibility of violence by unnamed “right-wing extremists” concerned about illegal immigration, increasing federal power, restrictions on firearms, abortion and the loss of U.S. sovereignty and singles out returning war veterans as particular threats.talk-radio host and WND columnist Roger Hedgecock, goes on to suggest worsening economic woes, potential new legislative restrictions on firearms and “the return of military veterans facing significant challenges reintegrating into their communities could lead to the potential emergence of terrorist groups or lone wolf extremists capable of carrying out violent attacks.”
The report, titled “Right-wing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment,” dated April 7, states that “threats from white supremacist and violent anti-government groups during 2009 have been largely rhetorical and have not indicated plans to carry out violent acts.”
However, the document, first reported by talk-radio host and WND columnist Roger Hedgecock, goes on to suggest worsening economic woes, potential new legislative restrictions on firearms and “the return of military veterans facing significant challenges reintegrating into their communities could lead to the potential emergence of terrorist groups or lone wolf extremists capable of carrying out violent attacks.”
The report from DHS’ Office of Intelligence and Analysis defines right-wing extremism in the U.S. as “divided into those groups, movements and adherents that are primarily hate-oriented (based on hatred of particular religious, racial or ethnic groups) and those that are mainly anti-government, rejecting federal authority in favor of state or local authority, or rejecting government authority entirely. It may include groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration.”
“[T]he consequences of a prolonged economic downturn – including real estate foreclosures, unemployment and an inability to obtain credit – could create a fertile recruiting environment for right-wing extremists and even result in confrontations between such groups and government authorities similar to those in the past,” the report says.
It adds that “growth in these groups subsided in reaction to increased government scrutiny as a result of the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing and disrupted plots, improvements in the economy and the continued U.S. standing as the pre-eminent world power.”the chief of the Missouri highway patrol blasted a report issued by the Missouri Information Analysis Center that linked conservative groups to domestic terrorism, assuring that such reports no longer will be issued. The report had been compiled with the assistance of DHS.
“Proposed imposition of firearms restrictions and weapons bans likely would attract new members into the ranks of right-wing extremist groups as well as potentially spur some of them to begin planning and training for violence against the government,” the report continues. “The high volume of purchases and stockpiling of weapons and ammunition by right-wing extremists in anticipation of restrictions and bans in some parts of the country continue to be a primary concern to law enforcement.”
Most notable is the report’s focus on the impact of returning war veterans.
“Returning veterans possess combat skills and experience that are attractive to right-wing extremists,” it says. “DHS/I&A is concerned that right-wing extremists will attempt to recruit and radicalize veterans in order to boost their violent capacities.”
The report cites the April 4 shooting deaths of three police officers in Pittsburgh as an example of what may be coming, claiming the alleged gunman holds a racist ideology and believes in anti-government conspiracy theories about gun confiscations, citizen detention camps and “a Jewish-controlled ‘one-world government.’”
It also suggests the election of an African-American president and the prospect of his policy changes “are proving to be a driving force for right-wing extremist recruitment and radicalization.”
The report also mentions “‘end times’ prophecies could motivate extremist individuals and groups to stockpile food, ammunition and weapons. These teachings also have been linked with the radicalization of domestic extremist individuals and groups in the past, such as the violent Christian Identity organizations and extremist members of the militia movement.”
“DHS/I&A assesses that right-wing extremist groups’ frustration over a perceived lack of government action on illegal immigration has the potential to incite individuals or small groups toward violence,” the report continues.
The report states the DHS will be working with state and local partners over the next several months to determine the levels of right-wing extremist activity in the U.S.
Last month, the chief of the Missouri highway patrol blasted a report issued by the Missouri Information Analysis Center that linked conservative groups to domestic terrorism, assuring that such reports no longer will be issued. The report had been compiled with the assistance of DHS.
The report warned law enforcement agencies to watch for suspicious individuals who may have bumper stickers for third-party political candidates such as Ron Paul, Bob Barr and Chuck Baldwin.
Chief James Keathley of the Missouri State Patrol issued a statement that the release of the report, which outraged conservatives nationwide, prompted him to “take a hard look” at the procedures through which the report was released by the MIAC.
It further warned law enforcement to watch out for individuals with “radical” ideologies based on Christian views, such as opposing illegal immigration, abortion and federal taxes.
“My review of the procedures used by the MIAC in the three years since its inception indicates that the mechanism in place for oversight of reports needs improvement,” he wrote. “Until two weeks ago, the process for release of reports from the MIAC to law enforcement officers around the state required no review by leaders of the Missouri State Highway Patrol or the Department of Public Safety.”
“For that reason, I have ordered the MIAC to permanently cease distribution of the militia report,” he said. “Further, I am creating a new process for oversight of reports drafted by the MIAC that will require leaders of the Missouri State Highway Patrol and the Department of Public Safety to review the content of these reports before they are shared with law enforcement. My office will also undertake a review of the origin of the report by MIAC.”

Commentary by Roger Hedgecock

On Feb. 20, 2009, Missouri’s Department of Public Safety issued a report to all law enforcement in the state entitled “Missouri Information Analysis Center Strategic Report: The Modern Militia Movement.”
The report linked people holding conservative views on immigration, abortion, the U.N., the New World Order, etc., to dangerous and violent “militias” that Missouri law enforcement were instructed to be on guard against. Conservative opinions were demonized and made the subject of law enforcement scrutiny.
The report was leaked. National and state public reaction was strong and negative, and Missouri retracted the report and apologized.
This victory was short lived. The substance of the report is back, this time distributed to “federal, state, local, and tribal counterterrorism and law enforcement officials …” by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security as an “assessment” dated April 7, 2009, entitled “Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment.”
The entire assessment is available at the Roger Hedgecock website.
The assessment states it was “prepared by the Extremism and Radicalization Branch, Homeland Environment Threat Analysis Division” and “coordinated with the FBI.”
It admits that “The DHS/Office of Intelligence and Analysis (I&A) has no specific information that domestic right wing terrorists are currently planning acts of violence.” Nonetheless, it states that “right wing extremists may be gaining new recruits by playing on their fears about … the economic downturn and the election of the first African-American President …”
The report elaborates that …”right wing extremists are antagonistic toward the new presidential administration and its perceived stance on a range of issues, including immigration and citizenship, the expansion of social programs to minorities, and restrictions on firearms and use.”
So, if you disagree with Obama on amnesty for illegals or stand up for the Second Amendment, you are branded a “rightwing extremist” by the Department of Homeland Security and become the subject of scrutiny by some 850,000 local and state law enforcement personnel.
The assessment goes on to link concerns about the economy, and the stockpiling of emergency food supplies and weapons and ammunition to violent militias and extremist “rightwing” groups. In my state of California, the state government urges all citizens to keep emergency food supplies in case of earthquake. And who isn’t concerned about the economy?
Most disgusting of all, it targets veterans for increased law enforcement scrutiny.
“Returning veterans possess combat skills and experience that are attractive to rightwing extremists. DHS/I&A is concerned that rightwing extremists will attempt to recruit and radicalize returning veterans in order to boost their violent capabilities.”
What’s the evidence for this? None. The assessment admits that membership in “rightwing extremist” groups is in decline and asserts that no increase in such violence has been detected. But it might happen. So “intense scrutiny” is advised as the “DHS/I&A will be working with its state and local partners over the next few months to ascertain with greater regional specificity the rise of rightwing extremist activity in the United States …”
This report smacks of profiling and harassing American citizens based on their political views, and specifically based on their opposition to the Obama administration’s proposals.
This used to be called “democracy” and “free speech” protected by the First Amendment to the Constitution. But under Obama, “Homeland Security” has become an instrument of oppression of opposing points of view.

Sounds like barry is a little paranoid huh?……just cause people are following him doesn’t make him paranoid….LOL,,,,Steve
Targets get paranoid sometimes. He ran for the office and knew what the dangers were and are. A shoe or high velocity ordinance – one will get him soon enough. He has that special gift.
Yep, I’m a domestic terrorist and proud of it too! Time to get the Gadsden flag out now.
I think it’s a damn shame that our own government officials are pointing at returning soldiers from Iraq as potential trouble makers. You can damn well bet that the officials writing these reports are the same progressive fascists as Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, whose only goal is to make right-leaning Conservatives like myself look like the bad guys.
And the government wonders why we keep getting pissed-off? The morons don’t realize that it’s reports like this, pointing fingers at us and those that have served their country honorably, that will get us riled-up. Idiots!

Gio,
Glad to have you back after your holiday!

Glad to be back.

Like I stated on the newest Tea Party Thread:
This is the beginning. Be prepared after this to defend your family and yourself. Things are going to get real out there very quick.
Really Real. People in uniforms and using big-ass guns real. The “Right-wing Extremists” groups will be the first to be targeted. You know, National Rifle Association, The American Conservative Union, American Family Association, Citizens United, The Conservative Caucus, Eagle Forum, Family Research Council, Freedom’s Watch, Freedom Works, John Birch Society, and any Christian Church groups south of the Mason-Dixon line.
Then they’ll come for me and you, the Whack-A-Moles that constantly stick their heads up and are “anti-government” – whatever in the hell that means (which is whatever in the hell “they” want it to mean).
That’s as Real as it gets – unless you’ve been vacationing in Iraq or Afghanistan for the last 7 years.
Doktor Disturbing
Dok,
You are as right as one can get on this subject. There are just too many stars lining up to let this moment in history pass quietly.
Here’s what I’m doing so far… Meeting with others in my community. We did this once already and plan to meet again soon. It actually went much better than I ever dreamed it would.
My wife and I have been stocking up on certain items. Ammo is high on my list. First Aid items are high on my wifes list. Thank God she was once a registered Nurse.
Something a client suggested over the weekend… we are going to purchase a SAT Phone. Their expensive, but worth it if things get spooky!
BTW… I tend to think that anti-government means “anyone that disagrees with Obama”.

Dok and Giovanni:
I couldn’t agree more…what’s worse, I’ve always considered myself to be a liberal, now I seem to be considered a potential right-wing terrorist!
I must say, this BS scares the bejesus out of me.
Don’t forget about the cyber security act they want to pass. Watch for the buzzwords “internet 2.”
I thought the word “terrorist” had been strickened from The Traitor’s vocabulary. I was just getting use to the fact that I might be a woman-caused disaster waiting to happen…
Good one! I am laughing so hard I scared my cat.
I posted this on Newsbusters and thought I should post it here as well

And it is just the beginning, further government infringement on our rights, we as Conservatives now have a target on our backs. This action by this regime, err government has the potential to explode into tyrannical oppression.
Nazism: a form of socialism featuring racism and expansionism and obedience to a strong leader.
wordnet.princeton.edu/perl/webwn
Communism:
1. A theory or system of social organizarion based on the holding of all property in common, actual ownership being ascribed to the community as a whole or to the state.
2. A system of social organization in which all economic and social activity is controlled by a totalitarian state dominated by a single and self-perpetuating political party.
Fascism: a political philosophy, movement, or regime (as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition
All three of these philosophies have one thing in common, the present administration subscribes to them in one form or another.
For the first time in over two hundred years Americans have a reason to fear their government, the Constitution is being eradicated right before our eyes, our Freedoms are being eroded after generations of men and women died to preserve them. If we continue down this path how long will it take before we wake up one morning and find out that we live in a police state where our phone calls and the internet are monitored, our mail is searched, and we are told what we can and cannot watch, listen and talk about.
Do you think it can’t happen here, think again, the liberal juggernaut will roll right over us if we lie down and do nothing, it is time to take our country back before it is too late. Attend a TEA Party tomorrow and afterwards become politically active in one form or another, stay on your senator or representative’s back both at the state and federal level, don’t let up, our voices will not be silenced without a fight!
WE MUST NOT ALLOW A FOURTH REICH TO TAKE OVER OUR COUNTRY!
Tom, you are so right, this is just the begining. We need to take a page out of the traitorous bastards handbook, and organize. We’ve got a good start on Tea party’s but it must be kept going. We need a netroots campaign. Glenn Beck has started 912project.com, but we need more. It reminds me of this quotation, sorry don’t know who said it…
“The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil, is for good men to do nothing.”
We have all been complacent to long. This is not about Left and Right anymore , but about “WE THE PEOPLE” taking back our constitution, and putting big bro back were it was intended to be. I am now reading the “5000 Year Leap” and it would make you sick how far we have strayed. Everything the founders did and set up…..even the Athiests among them realized that this would not work with out Morals, Virtues, and what they called “The natural law and Natural order” Which was all in reference to the creator. If we are not able to put God back into the equation, or a being or tree a rock….just something to give a higher power to, then they said and I agree we are doomed to failure. That’s why it is so important to these people to ban organized religion, because if they are successful, then we don’t stand a chance, and I am convinced behind all the smoke and mirrors that that is their ultimate goal…………after that, there’s loss of hope, you lose hope you lose everything and then they do what they want. It’s time to be Patriots again , but more important get God front and center and live a life ya can be proud of and that they will not know how to defeat…Steve

Now Homeland Security has it’s own “Report” warning about “Right-Wing Extremists”. I posted about it and you can also read the actual report.

——–> DHS Report warns about Right-wing extremists <——-
I feel like there’s a huge target on my back.
I Do Too. And it’s a damned shame. By exercising our 1st Amendment right, we are all probably on some watch list. We are probably more apt to be patriotic protectors of our country than they are, yet we are the ones being “watched”. It is amazing to me.
Boo, I’m proud to be on that list cause all I’m doing is standing up for my rights as an American citizen and defending the constitution .
Steve
Booyah, I read it and blood was shooting out my eyes……………returning service men…………..EF Them, them bloody cowards. Any way I tryied calling the citizen comment line and mail box was full…I bet, I figured maybe they should like check out a Mosque or something , but then C.A.I.R would yell at them so they’ll just pick on 90% of the American Citizenry…..Steve
Yes. I really believe that is more corruption going on behind the liberal scenes than the public is aware of.
Michele, There is….we know since Gio’s site was mentioned in that article that for sure we are being monitored daily…..and to those doing the monitoring picture a big hairy arse and I just mooned ya…….LOL ….to my friends please wipe that disturbing image out of your minds immediatly as it could scar you for life……It was only to be used on the enemy hordes, and don’t want any friendly fires casualty’s………LOL……….Steve……PS my spelling stinks sometimes
“to my friends please wipe that disturbing image out of your minds immediatly as it could scar you for life”
LOL
Thanks, Steve. The big laugh you provoked just made my day
Spelling, punctuation, structure, grammar, topics (big hairy arse)
. . . . but who’s keeping track? 8)
Steve, I searched but I cannot find the mention of Giovanni’s World in any of these articles. Where did you see it??
Doktor Anal
Hey Doc, about a week or so ago Gio posted an article where the NY Village Voice…..radical lefty rag…..was quoting a few sites and they mentioned Gio’s , so we know were on the Radar now……sorry can’t remember actual thread..
Steve
AH, I remember that. I was going crazy trying to find the reference to Gio in these articles. Thanks for the info.

To all:
Please note the changes I made to my Foreword to this post!
A friend just sent an e-mail reminding me it’s The Left who threatened violence if the Democrats were to lose the ’08 election!
They – Obama & Janet Napolitano – are behaving as the thugs they truly are, trying to intimidate and bully conservatives.
Conservatives certainly do seem to be taking the brunt of it, but the Obama gang are bullying EVERYONE who disagrees with them, regardless of their position on the political spectrum. They’re also putting a pretty big squeeze on folks who just MIGHT disagree with them.
Nasty situation.
“Right Wing Extremist Terrorists?” If you met me and my family you’d laugh at that title applying to us! We fit the category, but DEFINITELY NOT the title. I can’t imagine our pictures on a deck of cards!
