Holy Cow, the lefties that love MSNBC propaganda, and hate the fairness of Fox News, are going to love this story.
Unless you have been hiding under a rock, you know that the Glenn Beck show has gone through the roof, and his show last Friday had historically high ratings. But Fox News does have one person, that we know about, on their staff that is not happy for Glenn or his success. In fact, Sheppard Smith seems down-right jealous. Check out this youtube from last week…
What an absolute baby Shep is. He needs a pacifier!

I know many people are being distracted by the outrage at $165 million dollars paid out in bonuses for AIG execs. But I want to focus on the $54 Billion (with a ‘B’) that was given to foreign banks by AIG, with the tacit approval of our congress.
So now that you know where I want to take this post you will understand why I need some help. Glenn Beck did a great piece on this tonight on his show. He had one of the people that work for him write on a white-board the amounts that went to foreign banks. I have looked on all the obvious places but cannot find anyone, including Glenn, that has posted that part of his show on a internet video. If you know of a place where I might find what I’m looking for, please holler at me here giovanni.faga@yahoo.com

Obama Protests aka Tea Parties Largely Ignored by Media
By Noel Sheppard March 15, 2009 – 16:53 ET
Since CNBC’s Rick Santelli first suggested a Chicago Tea Party to protest President Obama’s plans to “stimulate” the economy and bailout homeowners through unrestrained government spending, organized demonstrations have been occurring across the fruited plain.
In fact, as Glenn Reynolds reported moments ago, there’s one happening today in Cincinnati.
Unfortunately, unless you frequent conservative websites, you’d have no idea that such events were being staged.
Despite their lack of coverage, as Knoxnews.comrevealed Sunday, these Tea Parties are springing up all over the country (image courtesy Geldpress):
Let’s count ‘em: Cincinnati, Nebraska, Tampa, Lexington, Ridgefield, Conn., Raleigh, Orlando, D.C., Staten Island, Pasadena, Boston, Rochester, N.Y., Jacksonville, Minnesota, Cleveland, Columbus, Mo., Little Rock, Ark., Philadelphia, Kansas City, Harrisburg, Green Bay, Salt Lake City, Fullertown, Lafayette, Boise, Monterey, Maui, Yonkers, Utah, Tucson, Phoenix, Hoboken and Chicago, to name a few.
Did you know there have been that many? If you didn’t, don’t feel embarrassed for these have gone almost totally ignored.
For instance, with the exception of Fox Newsand CNN, no major television outlet has covered even one of these events except the original proposed by Santelli on February 19.
Compare that to how these networks practically fell all over themselves to report war protests after the public’s opinion changed concerning Iraq in late 2003.
As for print, Tea Parties have been completely ignored by the Washington Post, USA Today, the Boston Globe, the Los Angeles Times, the Miami Herald, and the San Francisco Chronicle.
I guess Americans protesting the president’s policies just isn’t newsworthy when there’s a Democrat in the White House.
Obama wants to charge wounded vets for treatment, but this country *still* provides free medical treatment for illegal “immigrants.” This is justice?

The American Legion Strongly Opposed to President’s Plan to Charge Wounded Heroes for Treatment

http://news.yahoo.com/s/usnw/20090316/pl_usnw/the_american_legion_strongly_opposed_to_president_s_plan_to_charge_wounded_heroes_for_treatment
WASHINGTON, March 16 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — The leader of the nation’s largest veterans organization says he is “deeply disappointed and concerned” after a meeting with President Obama today to discuss a proposal to force private insurance companies to pay for the treatment of military veterans who have suffered service-connected disabilities and injuries. The Obama administration recently revealed a plan to require private insurance carriers to reimburse the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) in such cases.
“It became apparent during our discussion today that the President intends to move forward with this unreasonable plan,” said Commander David K. Rehbein of The American Legion. “He says he is looking to generate $540-million by this method, but refused to hear arguments about the moral and government-avowed obligations that would be compromised by it.”
The Commander, clearly angered as he emerged from the session said, “This reimbursement plan would be inconsistent with the mandate ‘ to care for him who shall have borne the battle’ given that the United States government sent members of the armed forces into harm’s way, and not private insurance companies. I say again that The American Legion does not and will not support any plan that seeks to bill a veteran for treatment of a service connected disability at the very agency that was created to treat the unique need of America’s veterans!”
Commander Rehbein was among a group of senior officials from veterans service organizations joining the President, White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emmanuel, Secretary of Veterans Affairs Eric Shinseki and Steven Kosiak, the overseer of defense spending at the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). The group’s early afternoon conversation at The White House was precipitated by a letter of protest presented to the President earlier this month. The letter, co-signed by Commander Rehbein and the heads of ten colleague organizations, read, in part, ” There is simply no logical explanation for billing a veteran’s personal insurance for care that the VA has a responsibility to provide. While we understand the fiscal difficulties this country faces right now, placing the burden of those fiscal problems on the men and women who have already sacrificed a great deal for this country is unconscionable.”
Commander Rehbein reiterated points made last week in testimony to both House and Senate Veterans’ Affairs Committees. It was stated then that The American Legion believes that the reimbursement plan would be inconsistent with the mandate that VA treat service-connected injuries and disabilities given that the United States government sends members of the armed forces into harm’s way, and not private insurance companies. The proposed requirement for these companies to reimburse the VA would not only be unfair, says the Legion, but would have an adverse impact on service-connected disabled veterans and their families. The Legion argues that, depending on the severity of the medical conditions involved, maximum insurance coverage limits could be reached through treatment of the veteran’s condition alone. That would leave the rest of the family without health care benefits. The Legion also points out that many health insurance companies require deductibles to be paid before any benefits are covered. Additionally, the Legion is concerned that private insurance premiums would be elevated to cover service-connected disabled veterans and their families, especially if the veterans are self-employed or employed in small businesses unable to negotiate more favorable across-the-board insurance policy pricing. The American Legion also believes that some employers, especially small businesses, would be reluctant to hire veterans with service-connected disabilities due to the negative impact their employment might have on obtaining and financing company health care benefits.
“I got the distinct impression that the only hope of this plan not being enacted,” said Commander Rehbein, “is for an alternative plan to be developed that would generate the desired $540-million in revenue. The American Legion has long advocated for Medicare reimbursement to VA for the treatment of veterans. This, we believe, would more easily meet the President’s financial goal. We will present that idea in an anticipated conference call with White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emmanuel in the near future.
“I only hope the administration will really listen to us then. This matter has far more serious ramifications than the President is imagining,” concluded the Commander.
This is one of those good news/bad news postings. The good news is… the left must really fear Sarah Palin and her chances for 2012. The bad news is… they are going to continue their hatred for her until 2012 and put her family through hell.
Remember, the media chose our (GOP) candidate for 2008. We must never let them do that to us again!!!

We love you Christian Dogs. We will kill you slowly so you can be heard on videotape gurgling your last words. Peace and much love!
1. The end of the world is near and the Islamic Messiah known as the Mahdi or the 12th Imam is coming soon.
2. The Islamic Messiah will only come when the world is engulfed in chaos and carnage.
3. Islamic leaders can hasten the arrival of the Islamic Messiah by annihilating two countries — Israel, “the Little Satan,” and the United States, “the Great Satan.”
4. It is not just possible, it is the God-given mission of Iran’s leaders to destroy Jews and Christians or force them to convert to Shia Islam.
5. Iran must rapidly acquire the technology necessary to accomplish genocide — namely nuclear weapons and intercontinental ballistic missiles.
6. Israel’s “defeat” by Hezbollah and Hamas and Israel’s divided election results indicate the Jewish states is increasingly weak and prepared for destruction. The severe economic crisis in the U.S. shows America is about to collapse as well.
7. With the U.S. and Israel so weakened and their collapse imminent, there is no incentive to truly negotiate with “Satan” and give up Iran’s pursuit of advanced nuclear technology.
8. However, there is an incentive to buy time until Iran builds, buys or steals the weapons it needs to accomplish its genocidal, apocalyptic objectives.

For those who are interested, below is a copy of my speech I gave at the Capitol on Friday. If you would like to not receive these emails, I am happy to take you off the list. Please feel free to forward it on to your friends.
I feel my brother Thomas and I have have a unique perspective on the path America has taken towards Socialism. We started a car manufacturing company in an old MiG fighter factory in Poland and have seen the end of the road of Socialism–the road many seem all to anxious to embark upon. In the speech, I warn America of the dangers we have seen. David works at www.kirkhammotorsports.com
Thank you!
David Kirkham
Canary in the Mine
Thank you all for coming: My name is David Kirkham. I thank you for the time I have to talk to you.
America is the Land of Opportunity. But today, America is in a hole. Small businesses that were thriving last year, today are struggling for air. We all know people who have lost their jobs. Some assert we can tax and spend or even print our way out of this hole with Wall Street Bailouts and Shovel-Ready projects. Yet our own common sense tells us, “When you find yourself trapped in a hole–stop digging.”
Congress just passed the largest deficit-spending package and governmental expansion in history. This ill-conceived plan will seal a “Cap” on the very hole we are trying to claw out of and “Trade” our freedoms for the sterile promise–government will pay our defaulted mortgages and fill our empty gas tanks. We chasten the frugal and reward the reckless behavior of those who are deemed by their lobbyists as “too big to fail.” Is it any wonder the very men who write and enforce our tax laws fail to pay their own, feigning ignorance of the onerous regulations–written by their own hand.
I wish all Americans could see the predictable consequences of callous governmental control–along with its cruel effects on every day workers and their families. Perhaps our story is not so distant from what we see today.
Fifteen years ago my brother Thomas and I went to the Provo airport to look at an old jet fighter from Poland. One glance at the jet and my brother Thomas turned to me and said, “Those guys could make aluminum-bodied Cobras.”
The world was an exciting place then: the Berlin Wall had fallen; Russia was imploding; and her satellite countries were throwing off the chains of long, dark years of political and economic oppression. Captivated by this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, I packed my bags and left BYU and my dreams of medical school, behind. I landed in Poland with a toy model of a Cobra, a Polish-English dictionary, and a new dream.
There, I wandered through an enormous aircraft factory that produced 3 MiG’s/day at the height of the Cold War. Times were tough and where once 60,000 men and women worked, only 24,000 remained. I walked past somber lathe and mill operators who stood behind silent machines in buildings, where the lights were turned off–because the Polish government could no longer afford to keep them on–even in their own defense industries.
Day after day on that first trip to Poland I saw the worry of an uncertain future etched on faces that were worn with far more years than they had passed on this earth. In time, my mother joined me on trips to Poland–only to be routinely mistaken as my wife–a wonderful compliment for her, yet a startling condemnation of the trials of life women in Poland endured.
We were at the factory in Poland the day over 20,000 of those 24,000 men and women lost their jobs. We watched as displaced workers wearily pedaled home through the cold–only to be greeted by anxious families and haunting memories of the specter of food rationing. The bailouts were bankrupt.
But the Polish people are resilient. They booted out Socialism and voted in a democracy that slashed taxes and offered land and buildings for sale. We bought buildings, we bought silent machinery, we bought land, and most importantly, we hired those anxious men and women. We provided jobs in a factory–where untold billions of government money had long been lavished on the rat-hole of squander.
These spending bills despoil us one feather at a time. Legislators deceive us by saying the only way out of this economic nightmare–of their own creation–is to impose a tsunami of stupefying government programs–each one with print so fine, those who sign it don’t even bother to read it.
Politicians of both parties, like the Roman Senate of old, promise bread and circuses as they line their war chests with our children’s money. Bush’s bailout boondoggle and Obama’s attempt to decorate the earth with dollar bills forebodes another haunting specter. Inflation lurks in this madness. We were in Poland when they chopped 4 zeros off of their currency to dispel the demons of inflation. One day the National credit card statement must arrive in each of our wallets. Sadly, that day has already fallen on far too many small businesses across our country.
We have seen people on both sides of the Atlantic loose their jobs in this economy. Yet, we have seen private investment and the entrepreneurial spirit pry open doors governments had long shielded from the sanitizing light of day. We have even seen a factory of war beaten into plowshares.
Some contend they must tax slices of pie from the rich to avenge slights of the poor. Yet, we have seen wealth destruction masquerade as wealth redistribution–with its 9000 bridges to bondage–slowly metastasize into trickle-down despair. We cheat our children’s future–for a pot of porridge. If Congress spent more time baking pie–instead of stealing slices from others, perhaps hunger might even banish itself.
Will our children struggle with odious chains or will our children dream free? These bailouts and spending bills tax our children without representation. Personal responsibility has been humiliated in exchange for the pompous promises of government. How much longer will we borrow before we too are forced to turn out our own lights?
In times past, a canary was taken deep into coal mines. If the canary quit singing the men in the mine knew they had better get out before the deadly gases–which they could neither see nor smell–suffocated them. Everyone who came today is a canary in the mine…and we are running out of air.
Legislators, how many more canaries must die before your spending bills, polluted by the toxic brew of your arrogance and lard, must be cleaned up by the men and women of this country–and their children and grandchildren? Lower our taxes; quit spending our money; let us all bake more pie. Common sense tells us, when you find yourself trapped in a hole, stop digging. Mr. Obama, put down that shovel.

Thousands Rally Downtown Against Government Spending

CINCINNATI — Thousands of Tri-State residents gathered Sunday on Fountain Square in downtown Cincinnati to voice their opposition to government spending bills recently signed by President Barack Obama.
The group called itself the Cincinnati Tea Party, modeled after the Boston Tea Party of 1773.
Images: Cincinnati Tea Party
Many of the demonstrators carried signs with slogans that said, “Honk if I’m paying your mortgage” or “Stop spending my allowance.” Some even wore tea bags on their hats to make their point.
Cincinnati police estimated the crowd at 4,000 people. Many who spoke with News 5 Sunday afternoon said they’re angry, including Rep. Jean Schmidt.
“I bet there’s 5,000 people here and they’re mad, just as I’m mad. They have a right to be mad at the unbridled spending that’s happening in Washington,” said Schmidt.
Protesters argued that the government shouldn’t be spending money it doesn’t have and they fear taxes and deflation will follow.
“The money you have now will be worth half as much next year, if they keep spending this money. They’ve got to stop spending this money,” said Mike Sparks.
Protestors signed a petition rejecting the stimulus package. Organizers said they planned to gather again on April 15 and march the petition to city hall.
Fed-up Americans mobilize: More than 150 tea parties
Patriots put blazing heat on Washington, rebuke reckless spending

A revolution is brewing as American patriots and advocates of the free-market system unite in protest against out-of-control government spending with a wildfire movement of more than 150 nationwide tea parties.
John M. O’Hara of The Heartland Institute is a member of New American Tea Party, a coalition of citizens and organizations concerned about reckless government spending, is helping coordinate a number of national tea party events.
“Our message is simple: ‘Bailing out’ reckless businesses and individuals is neither the burden of responsible
O’Hara said there is no question the United States is facing tough economic times, but he believes many politicians are not proposing serious solutions.
“The Congressional Budget Office and countless economists say that the recent ‘stimulus’ packages will likely hinder, not help, our economy,” he said. “Tax cuts, not tax hikes and handouts, are the quickest, most efficient means of getting our economy back on track.”
O’Hara said legislators must listen to citizens who are tired of irresponsible policies so the nation can recover.
“It is time politicians heed the will of the American people and the clear signals coming from the financial sector: stop the excessive spending, cut taxes, and get out of the way. Only then will we unleash the resilient, entrepreneurial spirit of American’s that has made our nation great and which will propel us through this rough patch to more prosperous times ahead.
The New American Tea Party website states, “This isn’t a conservative or liberal thing. This is about government forking over billions of dollars, our money, to businesses that should have failed. This is about taking money from responsible people and handing it over to CEOs who squandered their own.”
Another organization, the Political Exploration and Awareness Committee, or PEACPAC, formed a website known as ReTeaParty and accepts tea party registrations from across the nation. It also provides detailed information on how to organize tea parties and posts photos of the events.
Tax Day Tea Party, a national collaborative grassroots effort organized by Smart Girl Politics, Top Conservatives on Twitter, the DontGo Movement and many other online groups, is also promoting the events.
WND has also launched its own tea party forum so citizens may exchange ideas, information and announcements about the “revolution.” After reviewing various website protest listings, WND found more than 150 tea parties scheduled for upcoming months and compiled one of the most complete lists on the Internet. DOD Ends Sale of Expended Military Brass to Remanufacturers
AND SO IT BEGINS…
We all wondered when it was going to start.
When the new administration would make their move against us as gun
owners. Oh, everyone got upset about HR45–I’ll bet I got over 100
e-mails warning me about this draconian gun registration bill that had
been introduced in Congress.
I was really glad to see Tom Gresham, host of “Gun Talk Radio,” an
editor, writer, television host on “Self-Defense TV,” and one of the
foremost gun spokespersons, come out and tell everyone to stop
worrying about legislation so absolutely over-the-top–it would never
get out of committee.
Tom said save your energy for when we really need it–don’t expend it
trying to warn everyone in your e-mail list about legislation that
would go nowhere.
The DOD are not allowing buyers to reload the spent brass to be reloaded. They are restricting it to be shredded and that’s going to raise the price of ammo by at least three times. WE need to get after our reps. ASAP. Check out www.guntalk.com and www.theshootist.net for more info. Important info below photo…
Tom just interviewed me, and Larry Haynie, owner of Georgia Arms
(www.georgia-arms.com), on Gun Talk (www.guntalk.com)–and Tom agrees,
now is the time to “…unleash the hounds…” by which he means start
e-mailing and writing your senators and congressmen.
Now it has come clear…now we know what they intend to do.
It is an end-run around Congress. They don’t need to try to ban
guns–they don’t need to fight a massive battle to attempt gun
registration, or limit “assault” weapon sales.
Nope. All they have to do is limit the amount of ammunition available
to the civilian market, and when bullets dry up, guns will be useless.
Think we jest?
Here are copies of two letters sent to Georgia Arms just Thursday
evening–effectively cancelling a contract he had to purchase 30,000
pounds of expended military brass in .223, 7.62mm, and .50 caliber:
Dear Valued Customer:
Please take a moment to note important changes set forth by the
Defense Logistics Agency:
Recently it has been determined that fired munitions of all calibers,
shapes and sizes have been designated to be Demil code B. As a result
and in conjunction with DLA’s current Demil code B policy, this notice
will serve as official notification which requires Scrap Venture (SV)
to implement mutilation as a condition of sale for all sales of fired
munitions effective immediately. This notice also requires SV to
immediately cease delivery of any fired munitions that have been
recently sold or on active term contracts, unless the material has
been mutilated prior to sale or SV personnel can attest to the
mutilation after delivery. A certificate of destruction is required in
either case.
Thank you,

Recently China’s Premier Wen Jiabao said out loud as a foreign leader what most of us have been thinking and saying for months now. The government headed by Barrack Obama needs to get its financial house in order and the policy chosen by him to borrow his way to prosperity is not what China is going to subsidize. Other Chinese government leaders have characterized President Obama’s current behavior as “reckless policies.” We, who are conservatives, wholly agree with this assessment. It’s ironic that US conservatives and the leaders of China who were formerly ideological enemies are in complete agreement in seeing Obama and the Democrats policies as reckless. This is not to say we agree on other issues like China’s one child policy for population control or their attitudes toward private property both indicating the Chinese government’s right to micromanage the affairs of individuals. To further underline the irony of this agreement both US conservatives and the leaders of China see nothing wrong in wealth disparity and furthermore it is beneficial to the uplifting of society as a whole. This is in complete contradiction to the President Obama’s stated enmity toward the top 1% of wealth producers in this country. Obama’s budget, a federal document, actually identifies the wealthy as the cause of the country’s woes!
“Prudent investments in education, clean energy, health care and infrastructure were sacrificed for huge tax cuts for the wealthy and well-connected.”
“There’s nothing wrong with making money, but there is something wrong when we allow the playing field to be tilted so far in the favor of so few. . . . It’s a legacy of irresponsibility, and it is our duty to change it.”
(quotes courtesy of Roger Kimball’s article)
I submit these statements by President Obama are falsehoods based on the old tired Democrat theme of class warfare or wealth envy to garner the votes of the have-nots. What more proof does one need to label Obama as the Great Divider? The only people he is uniting are those who believe they are entitled to money that is not theirs and those who seek power by duping the poor into voting for them. Throwing more money down the rat hole of the Teacher’s Unions, euphemistically called the Schools will not improve grades. On the contrary, it is an indisputable fact the more they get, the lower the kids’ grades go. Look at the schools in Obama’s home district or look at the ones in California. Blaming the wealthy for the failure of schools to give kids an education is a non sequitur. Blaming the wealthy for not being soaked enough in taxes to pay for Democrats spending agendas is the height of absurdity when the majority of personal income taxes are already paid by the top 5% earners. Since when is paying the majority of income taxes NOT playing by the rules? For a person who claims to have studied the US Constitution, Obama seems to be woefully ignorant of the idea of proportionality of direct taxation and taxation without representation. Apparently, President Obama’s Socialist version of the Constitution is not the same as the one we understand of being personal responsible of one’s actions and the limitations against government to extend special rights, benefits and privileges at the expense of others no matter the rationalization.
China’s leadership realized long ago that Capitalism was the answer to the needs of its 1.4 billion people living in abject poverty. Literally hundreds of millions were lifted out of poverty because the leaders of China had the humility to recognize Communism doesn’t work. Born of pragmatism, China’s leaders recognized they could not lift their people out of poverty on the backs of the wealthy few by redistribution of wealth policies. Instead, they took their example from the US where those who are wealthy pull up those in poverty by their very activity of wealth creation. It’s called the win/win scenario. President Obama and the Democrats would do well to learn from and listen to the leaders of China. President Obama’s redistributionist policies are reckless!
The leaders of China have recognized just as we conservatives that deficit spending to finance government programs and benefits are not economic stimulus. However, what the leaders of China do not recognize is that the current leadership of the US are not believers in Capitalism, they are believers in the utopian liberal dream. Utopia is not reality and liberals are not interested in living in the real world, thus their policies bear no resemblance to reality. Barring the impeachment of Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and Barrack Obama, the course laid out for the US is pretty much etched in stone in it’s hell bent rush for liberal Nirvana. This reality or rather UNreality of the current US leadership puts both the Chinese and the average American on a firm course with economic catastrophe.
US imports and exports are dropping like a stone. Imports and Exports are an integral component of US GDP. What Obama and the Democrats are seemingly incapable of understanding is that without GDP growth, there can be NO job creation. Employment and unemployment in the US economy is a lagging indicator as it follows economic growth, i.e. GDP. The failure to stimulate economic activity translates directly in a failure of job creation. Simply borrowing money for government make work projects and benefits does not stimulate the economy, it merely redistributes working capital away from private enterprise where the real jobs are created. Government jobs are not real jobs because the money for those paychecks come from taxes and borrowed money taken from non-government sources, i.e. private enterprise and those who work for them.
I mentioned in a previous article individuals have a choice to oppose the government’s policies and publicly dissent. As far as China is concerned I make no secret that I have called for all foreign governments to stop buying US financial instruments since as long as they continue to do so, they enable and thus condone the reckless policies of the current US leadership. For China to hold US bonds they face the double risk of currency devaluation and principal loss as interest rates go up. Simply asking the current US government to not devalue Chinese holdings is like asking the scorpion not to sting (The Scorpion And The Fox). I submit to the China and all the rest of the countries holding US financial obligations unless the reckless policies instituted by Obama and the Democrats are reversed (laws repealed), not simply stopped, the devaluation of your holdings is inevitable. President Obama’s sales pitch that US financial instruments and domestic companies are sound is nothing short of laughable given the reckless policies he is determined to follow. The markets are forward looking and have seen the writing on the wall with Obama’s demonization of the wealthy. Obama and the Democrats believe in wealth redistribution NOT wealth creation, they admitted to it IN WRITING in the President’s proposed budget as noted earlier. Furthermore, they admitted via their economic forecast that they fully expect the economy to recover on its own long before any significant amount of so called stimulus actually takes place and the tax increases to pay for the non stimulus, stimulus will go into effect in 2011. The ugly truth is Obama and the Democrats plan to take credit for the economy recovering on its own and then act as a parasite to siphon off money to pay for their policies.
There is only one way to stop these reckless policies in their tracks and that is a public announcement by China that it will not buy any more US financial instruments. Secondly as part of that announcement China must say they believe both the Chinese and American people are in grave economic peril and the leadership of China will act unilaterally to save them by using $1 trillion US dollar of their reserves to stimulate our combined economies. Only a total public repudiation of liberal utopianism by the Chinese will shock the Democrat controlled US government and force a re-evaluation of their reckless policies. The Chinese economic rescue plan will be based upon Capitalism, that is activity to create wealth not redistribute it. Holding over a trillion US dollars in low interest financial instruments is a waste of working capital. Low interest rate US federal bonds do not create wealth as they are not invested in any capital expansion in plant and equipment. China has great needs where it comes to pollution control, energy generation and health care, which incidentally are America’s greatest strengths, the AGW/CO2 hoax aside. Implementing a bonafide economic stimulus is a win/win solution for both China and America because both are receiving a benefit and wealth is created in the process.
A Chinese stimulus plan would take advantage of the trade synergies between both countries. China could upgrade all it’s coal fired power plants and other industrial plants with scrubbers purchased from US companies to deal with their massive air pollution problems and substantially lower health issues that arise from sulfur compounds and particulate matter in the air. They could purchase multiple new nuclear power plants of US design and manufacture to provide the needed electrical power for their population and industry. They could purchase oil drilling equipment and use US energy companies to drill oil and gas wells. They could retrofit all existing vehicles with catalytic converters to combat carbon monoxide pollution in their cities. They could purchase advanced American made medical equipment to upgrade their hospitals, clinics and doctor’s offices to improve their health care.
Is my suggestion the height of audacity? Is it hopeful thinking? Is it a change in policies we can live with? You be the judge. What if China came out and did as I suggest over a two or three year period? Would the economies of China and America meltdown or would they both grow from the synergy of a win/win solution? Isn’t tough love better in the long run than experiencing the failure of a liberal utopian dream?

See UPDATE at bottom.
Some of you will agree with me, and some of you may end up hating me for
the title of this post and for the subject matter, but as usual, that ain’t stopping me.
The past couple of days have been rather stressful and it all has to do with this Conservative movement that Glenn Beck has tried to get started. Looking at the different groups around the country, some of the groups can, and probably will, pull this off. Then there are a few that have their heart in the right place, but their agenda’s totally screwed-up. The only one I am concerned about at the moment is the one I’m involved in where I live.
We had one guy in the crowd that I know vaguely, stand and start ranting Thursday night with royally assinine statements. Instead of explaining in my words what happened, I will let an email from a friend explain. I asked my friend if they knew what this guys problem was and below is part (three paragraphs) of the email she sent me…
“T is a devotee to Ayn Rand who wrote Atlas Shuggs. No don’t get me wrong, I lean heavily Libertarian, and support Ron Paul in most of his efforts, except when it comes to foreign policy. But getting back to T, he thinks the Religious Right should not be such a prominent part of the Republican Party. He says that the Republican Party would grow larger if it wasn’t seen as a Religious, or Christian party. He is very hostile to religiously motivated folks being involved in politics. You know, Separation of Church and State?
Ayn Rand, if you look at her bio, is very hostile to religion, as are most Libertarians to social conservatives issues being connected to policy. Such as same-sex marriage and abortion. Librarians are very socially liberal. So that’s what’s going on with T. T is a member of the Republican Liberty Caucus. Here is their website,,, CLICK HERE
In fact two or three members of the Republican Liberty Caucus have now become voting members of the BCGOP Central Committee, since they were voted into office at the convention last week. Unfortunately no one else volunteered to run for the positions. The Libertarians have stated that their goal is to take over the Republican Party. So this concerns me greatly, because their so very liberal on social issues. They are working to take over the state party and then if they have the clout, to change the Republican Party platform, in favor of a more inclusive platform statement. In fact a couple of the, (I call them Paulers) stood up at one of our Republican meetings and said that we would be much more inclusive if we just didn’t pray in Jesus name at the beginning of our meetings. So that’s where we are with the Ron Paul Libertarians.
T told me but he felt religious faith was a private matter, and that he was a student of religion, searching for answers He said he was into spirituality. I know once I showed T a book about our Christian Heritage and he acted like he was extremely disgusted with the subject matter. He also told me his father was a Methodist minister. so I don’t know if that has anything to do with his attitude or not.”
This gives you a small idea of what we have been fighting over the last couple of days. We have a few hundred people in my area that want to make this work. But we have a few people that only want it to work under their conditions. As you can imagine, we have a lot of very angry people that are making the mistake of arguing with these guys instead of ignoring them so we can move forward. I keep telling everone that we need to just exclude these guys from what we are doing because they are standing in our way (anotherwords… screw em). But we have too many in our group that say we should be inclusive and not keep people out, and it’s not nice, and it’s not civil, and it’s AAARRRGGGHHH!!!!! I have very little hair left to pull out. Sigh.
In closing… I had a few reasons why I wanted to share all this crappola with everyone. One, just to let you know what we are dealing with in my group. Two, to warn other groups. Three, to warn the GOP about what the Liberatrians are up to. Four… MAYBE WE HAVE THE VERY LAST REASON WE NEED TO DUMP THE GOP.

UPDATE: Not 30 minutes after I posted this, I received an email from T and it had the following in it…
Fair warning… what you are about to read may very well piss you off for the rest of the week!
“Let’s not be coy. Conservatives do not believe in individual liberty or limited government.
Do conservatives believe in the right to peaceable, voluntary behavior between consenting adults inside or outside marriage? Or do conservatives believe in controlling other people?

Do conservatives believe in curing disease with medical advances in stem cell research? Or do conservatives believe in controlling other people?

Do conservatives believe that superstitious religious scripture should be taught in school alongside established science? Or do conservatives believe in controlling other people?

Mr. Krauthammer calls out Obama on his lack of morality. So do I.
(Submitted by west coast editor Eowyn)
Obama’s ‘Science’ Fiction
By Charles Krauthammer
Friday, March 13, 2009; Page A17
Last week, the White House invited me to a signing ceremony overturning
the Bush (43) executive order on stem cell research. I assume this was
because I have long argued in these columns and during my five years on the President’s Council on Bioethics that, contrary to the Bush policy, federal funding should be extended to research on embryonic stem cell lines derived from discarded embryos in fertility clinics.
I declined to attend. Once you show your face at these things you become a
tacit endorser of whatever they spring. My caution was vindicated.
President Bush had restricted federal funding for embryonic stem cell
research to cells derived from embryos that had already been destroyed (as
of his speech of Aug. 9, 2001). While I favor moving that moral line to
additionally permit the use of spare fertility clinic embryos, President
Obama replaced it with no line at all. He pointedly left open the creation
of cloned — and noncloned sperm-and-egg-derived — human embryos solely for the purpose of dismemberment and use for parts.
I am not religious. I do not believe that personhood is conferred upon
conception. But I also do not believe that a human embryo is the moral
equivalent of a hangnail and deserves no more respect than an appendix.
Moreover, given the protean power of embryonic manipulation, the temptation
it presents to science and the well-recorded human propensity for evil even
in the pursuit of good, lines must be drawn. I suggested the bright line
prohibiting the deliberate creation of human embryos solely for the
instrumental purpose of research — a clear violation of the categorical
imperative not to make a human life (even if only a potential human life) a
means rather than an end.
On this, Obama has nothing to say. He leaves it entirely to the
scientists. This is more than moral abdication. It is acquiescence to the
mystique of “science” and its inherent moral benevolence. How anyone as
sophisticated as Obama can believe this within living memory of Mengele and Tuskegee and the fake (and coercive) South Korean stem cell research is hard to fathom.
That part of the ceremony, watched from the safe distance of my office,
made me uneasy. The other part — the ostentatious issuance of a memorandum
on “restoring scientific integrity to government decision-making” — would
have made me walk out.
Restoring? The implication, of course, is that while Obama is guided
solely by science, Bush was driven by dogma, ideology and politics.
What an outrage. Bush’s nationally televised stem cell speech was the most
morally serious address on medical ethics ever given by an American
president. It was so scrupulous in presenting the best case for both his
view and the contrary view that until the last few minutes, the listener had
no idea where Bush would come out.
Obama’s address was morally unserious in the extreme. It was populated, as
his didactic discourses always are, with a forest of straw men. Such as his
admonition that we must resist the “false choice between sound science and
moral values.” Yet, exactly 2 minutes and 12 seconds later he went on to
declare that he would never open the door to the “use of cloning for human
reproduction.”
Does he not think that a cloned human would be of extraordinary scientific
interest? And yet he banned it.
Is he so obtuse as not to see that he had just made a choice of ethics
over science? Yet, unlike Bush, who painstakingly explained the balance of
ethical and scientific goods he was trying to achieve, Obama did not even
pretend to make the case why some practices are morally permissible and
others not.
This is not just intellectual laziness. It is the moral arrogance of a man
who continuously dismisses his critics as ideological while he is guided
exclusively by pragmatism (in economics, social policy, foreign policy) and
science in medical ethics.
Science has everything to say about what is possible. Science has nothing
to say about what is permissible. Obama’s pretense that he will “restore
science to its rightful place” and make science, not ideology, dispositive
in moral debates is yet more rhetorical sleight of hand — this time to
abdicate decision-making and color his own ideological preferences as
authentically “scientific.”
Dr. James Thomson, the pioneer of embryonic stem cells, said “if human
embryonic stem cell research does not make you at least a little bit
uncomfortable, you have not thought about it enough.” Obama clearly has not.

The rich and powerful have their troubles too. For the Kennedy’s of Massachusetts their porblem has been a problem of identity. It seems that after the great Patriarch Papa Kennedy got into the illegal booze business during the roaring 20′s, some people took it personal and played a dirty trick on the Kennedy family. They were able to destroy all records of the Kennedy clan family crest. This may not seem like a big deal to normal working folk, but to the Kennedy’s this was like losing part of their identity.
Something had to be done, so Ted Kennedy put the word out that he would put up a $50,000 dollar reward (stolen from taxpayers of course) for anyone that could uncover his family crest. As luck would have it, someone is about to get that $50,000 bucks…
Or California is one scary nightmare!

California’s Wet Dream
By Brian Sussman
http://www.americanthinker.com/2009/03/californias_wet_dream.html
I live in a state managed by a pack of damned lunatics. Not only have the spendaholics who comprise the California legislature submerged us with an unsustainable budget deficit and then swamped us with the largest combined tax increase in the Golden state’s history to attempt to pay for it — now they have spent money on gawd-awful research which proclaims the state is about to go under water — literally.
According to yesterday’s San Francisco Chronicle:
“Driven by global warming, the ocean is expected to rise nearly 5 feet along California’s coastline by the end of the century, hitting San Francisco Bay the hardest of all, according to a state study released Wednesday.”
The scare screed continues:
“Rising seas, storms and extreme high tides are expected to send saltwater into low-lying areas, flooding freeways, the Oakland and San Francisco airports, hospitals, power plants, schools and sewage plants. Thousands of structures at risk are the homes of low- and middle-income people, the study said.”
This so-called “study” was concocted by the Pacific Institute (www.pacinst.org), a nonprofit propaganda outfit in Oakland. The hogwash was paid for by the California Energy Commission, Caltrans and the state Ocean Protection Council. I have no idea how much money was shelled out to fund this poppycock, but I can assure you, it was a blasted waste of taxpayer dough. The Pacific Institute’s mission statement says, “We envision a world where the basic needs of all people are met, where resources are managed sustainably and the natural world protected, and where conflicts over resources are resolved in a peaceful and democratic fashion.”
Wonderful. My beloved California is purchasing purposefully misleading goo-goo
eco-doctrine from a leftist group.
It gets even worse. On the Pacific Institute’s Board of Directors is Anne Ehrlich, wife of ghoulish Malthusian, Paul Population Bomb Ehrlich. Both are esteemed members of the Stanford University faculty. The Ehrlichs have issued some wild lines over the years, including my favorite from one of their golden green oldies, Population, Resources, Environment: “A massive campaign must be launched to de-develop the United States.”
With Board members like Anne Ehrlich — who desires to kick America back into the Stone Age — anything coming out of the Pacific Institute’s pipeline should be considered hazardous to the truth.
Enter Mr. Convenient Lies
All of this nonsense about rising tides has been greatly aided by the mischievous activity of one of the Ehrlich’s personal friends, Al Gore. In his Oscar acclaimed work of fiction, An Inconvenient Truth, Gore includes a troubling scene which involves a graphical representation of the world’s major cities drowning due to a rise in sea level from the melting of Antarctica and Greenland.
Gore focuses first on Western Antarctica. He calmly claims, “If this were to go, sea levels worldwide would go up 20 feet.”
By “go” Gore is implying, melt.
He then couples that fictional cataclysm with the total melting of Greenland. Using vague, unreferenced charts supposedly illustrating the amount of melting from Greenland’s glaciers and ice sheets, Gore emphatically states, “because of what is happening in Greenland right now, the map of the world will have to be redrawn.” He then prophesies: “If Greenland broke up and melted, or if half of Greenland and half of West Antarctica broke up and melted, this is what would happen to the sea level…”
Playing the role of mad scientist, Gore then graphically reveals Florida flooded, San Francisco swamped, “tens of millions of people” near Beijing displaced, “40 million people” near Shanghai forced to flee, and “50 million people” becoming refugees in Calcutta and East Bangladesh.
Adding further to his fright-fest, Gore, in a troubled monotone says, “This is the World Trade Center Memorial Site. After the horrible events of 9/11 we said never again’. But this is what would happen to Manhattan.” Exquisite Hollywood graphics inundate Ground Zero with a tsunami of water. Gore then claims, “They can measure this precisely.”
How? He never says. But clearly he seems to be likening global warming to the evils wrought by the Islamo-fascist’s who drove planes into buildings on 9-11.
Gore tags the scene by asking, “Is it possible that we should prepare against other threats besides terrorists?”
Apparently, the 5 foot rise in ocean levels forecast by the new Pacific Institute diatribe assumes that Gore is correct in believing that Greenland is about to melt like the wicked Witch of the West — something even the United Nation’s International Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has never been willing to hang their pointy hat on.
Sea Level Rise: can you say “Teeny-weenie”?
Ever since the end of the last Ice Age, the global sea level has been gradually increasing. The melting ice and snow from that bitter cold event continually trickles into our great oceans and seas. According to the IPCC, over the past 20,000 years sea level has increased nearly 400 feet.[i] Breaking it down further, over the past century the average sea level rose 1.8 millimeters per year[ii] (try placing your thumb as close to your forefinger as possible, without the two touching — that is the amount of sea level rise each year).
Hardly frightening.
Gore’s implication that if the West Antarctica ice shelf were to melt, sea level would increase 20 feet is obviously cherry-picked from the IPCC which, as part of an obvious set of improbable, hypothetical scenarios states, “the collapse of [the West Antarctica Ice Sheet]… would trigger another five to six metres [16-19 feet] of sea level rise…that would take many hundreds of years to complete.”[iii]
What Al Gore failed to mention was the IPCC section from which his West Antarctica and Greenland melting scenarios were lifted is entitled, How Likely are Major or Abrupt Climate Changes, such as Loss of Ice Sheets or Changes in Global Ocean Circulation? The section begins with this disclaimer:
Abrupt climate changes, such as the collapse of the West Antarctic Ice Sheet, the rapid loss of the Greenland Ice Sheet or large scale changes of ocean circulation systems, are not considered likely to occur in the 21st century…[iv]
That means that over the next 90+ years, even the usually enthusiastic global warming editors at the U.N. are not anticipating the kind of predictions that Gore, or for that matter, the Pacific Institute, lay forth.
Also, some additional snapshots from the IPCC regarding Antarctica:
“All studies for the 21st century project that Antarctic [ice] changes will contribute negatively to sea level…”[v] (italics mine). That means despite the dramatic film Al Gore shows of glaciers on the Antarctic Peninsula calving and crashing into the sea, there is more snow and ice accumulating on Antarctica than is breaking off and melting into the surrounding waters).
“…for the last two decades…Antarctica as a whole has not warmed.”[vi]
Regarding the potential collapse of the West Antarctic Ice Sheet, “…no quantitative information is available from the current generation of ice sheet models as to the likelihood of timing of such an event.”[vii]
“…accelerated sea level rise caused by rapid dynamic response of the ice sheets to climate change is very unlikely during the 21st century.”[viii]
Regarding Greenland, the IPCC states:
“…the total melting of the Greenland Ice Sheet, which would raise global sea level by about seven metres, is a slow process that would take many hundreds of years to complete…no quantitive information is available from the current generation of ice sheet models as to the likelihood or timing of such an event”[ix]
Translation: the total melting of Greenland is a pipedream, as is the scientific sewage flowing from the Pacific Institute.
Oh, and by the way…Mr. Gore? If all of these predictions are spot on and the ocean is soon gobble up San Francisco…do the right thing. Make a statement by selling that fancy pants condo you own in the future flood zone.
And to the legislators feeding from the public trough in Sacramento: spend your precious per diem cash on these kooky studies-not our hard earned tax dollars.

Obama’s Poll Numbers Are Falling to Earth
By DOUGLAS E. SCHOEN and SCOTT RASMUSSEN
It is simply wrong for commentators to continue to focus on President Barack Obama‘s high levels of popularity, and to conclude that these are indicative of high levels of public confidence in the work of his administration. Indeed, a detailed look at recent survey data shows that the opposite is most likely true. The American people are coming to express increasingly significant doubts about his initiatives, and most likely support a different agenda and different policies from those that the Obama administration has advanced.
Polling data show that Mr. Obama’s approval rating is dropping and is below where George W. Bush was in an analogous period in 2001. Rasmussen Reports data shows that Mr. Obama’s net presidential approval rating — which is calculated by subtracting the number who strongly disapprove from the number who strongly approve — is just six, his lowest rating to date.
M.E. CohenOverall, Rasmussen Reports shows a 56%-43% approval, with a third strongly disapproving of the president’s performance. This is a substantial degree of polarization so early in the administration. Mr. Obama has lost virtually all of his Republican support and a good part of his Independent support, and the trend is decidedly negative.
A detailed examination of presidential popularity after 50 days on the job similarly demonstrates a substantial drop in presidential approval relative to other elected presidents in the 20th and 21st centuries. The reason for this decline most likely has to do with doubts about the administration’s policies and their impact on peoples’ lives.
There is also a clear sense in the polling that taxes will increase for all Americans because of the stimulus, notwithstanding what the president has said about taxes going down for 95% of Americans. Close to three-quarters expect that government spending will grow under this administration.
Recent Gallup data echo these concerns. That polling shows that there are deep-seated, underlying economic concerns. Eighty-three percent say they are worried that the steps Mr. Obama is taking to fix the economy may not work and the economy will get worse. Eighty-two percent say they are worried about the amount of money being added to the deficit. Seventy-eight percent are worried about inflation growing, and 69% say they are worried about the increasing role of the government in the U.S. economy.
When Gallup asked whether we should be spending more or less in the economic stimulus, by close to 3-to-1 margin voters said it is better to have spent less than to have spent more. When asked whether we are adding too much to the deficit or spending too little to improve the economy, by close to a 3-to-2 margin voters said that we are adding too much to the deficit.
Support for the stimulus package is dropping from narrow majority support to below that. There is no sense that the stimulus package itself will work quickly, and according to a recent Wall Street Journal/NBC poll, close to 60% said it would make only a marginal difference in the next two to four years. Rasmussen data shows that people now actually oppose Mr. Obama’s budget, 46% to 41%. Three-quarters take this position because it will lead to too much spending. And by 2-to-1, voters reject House Speaker Nancy Pelosi‘s call for a second stimulus package.
While over two-thirds support the plan to help homeowners refinance their mortgage, a 48%-36% plurality said that it will unfairly benefit those who have been irresponsible, echoing Rick Santelli’s call to arms on CNBC.
And although a narrow majority remains confident in Mr. Obama’s goals and overall direction, 45% say they do not have confidence, a number that has been growing since the inauguration less than two months ago. With three-quarters saying that they expect the economy to get worse, it is hard to see these numbers improving substantially.
There is no real appetite for increasing taxes to pay for an expanded health-insurance program. Less than half would support such an idea, which is 17% less than the percentage that supported government health insurance when Bill Clinton first considered it in March of 1993.
While voters blame Republicans for the lack of bipartisanship in Washington, the fact is that they do not believe Mr. Obama has made any progress in improving the impulse towards cooperation between the two parties. Further, nearly half of voters say that politics in Washington will be more partisan over the next year.
Fifty-six percent of Americans oppose giving bankers any additional government money or any guarantees backed by the government. Two-thirds say Wall Street will benefit more than the average taxpayer from the new bank bailout plan. This represents a jump in opposition to the first plan passed last October. At that time, 45% opposed the bailout and 30% supported it. Now a solid majority opposes the bank bailout, and 20% think it was a good idea. A majority believes that Mr. Obama will not be able to cut the deficit in half by the end of his term.
Only less than a quarter of Americans believe that the federal government truly reflects the will of the people. Almost half disagree with the idea that no one can earn a living or live “an American life” without protection and empowerment by the government, while only one-third agree.
Despite the economic stimulus that Congress just passed and the budget and financial and mortgage bailouts that Congress is now debating, just 19% of voters believe that Congress has passed any significant legislation to improve their lives. While Congress’s approval has increased, it still stands at only 18%. Over two-thirds of voters believe members of Congress are more interested in helping their own careers than in helping the American people. When it comes to the nation’s economic issues, two-thirds of voters have more confidence in their own judgment than they do in the average member of Congress.
Finally, what probably accounts for a good measure of the confidence and support the Obama administration has enjoyed is the fact that they are not Republicans. Virtually all Americans, more than eight in 10, blame Republicans for the current economic woes, and the only two leaders with lower approval ratings than Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi are Republican leaders Mitch McConnell and John Boehner.
All of this is not just a subject for pollsters and analysts to debate. It shows fundamentally that public confidence in government remains low and is slipping. We face the possibility of substantial gridlock along with an absolute absence of public confidence that could come to mirror the lack of confidence in the American economy that the Dow and the S&P are currently showing.
Mr. Schoen, formerly a pollster for President Bill Clinton, is the author of “Declaring Independence: The Beginning of the End of the Two Party System” (Random House, 2008). Mr. Rasmussen is president of Rasmussen Reports, an independent national polling company.

I must thank ‘littlemissmuffin’ for this quickie update on the ongoing saga of where is the proof that Obama is eligible to hold the highest office in the land. It looks like we may slowly inching our way closer to the truth. Keep praying people!
| Dr. Orly Taitz handed documents concerning BHO’s birth, etc, to Roberts’ secret service man yesterday. Chief Justice Roberts agreed to read them:http://defendourfreedoms.us/2009/03/14/i-did-it.aspx#Comment
It seems there’s a conspiracy to keep these documents from reaching the justices: Quote (Dr. Orly Taitz): “You agreed to hear it in the conference of all 9 Justices on January 23. Your clerk, Danny Bickle, on his own accord refused to forward to you an important supplemental brief, he has hidden it from you and refused to post it on the docket. Additionally, my case was erased from the docket, completely erased one day after the inauguration, only two days before it was supposed to be heard in the conference” Also, more info concerning Justices Roberts and Scalia: http://worldnetdaily.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=91763 |
Below is an email I received from the guy that set-up our meetup for the
Glenn Beck revolution we had yesterday evening. We need more just like him!
—————————
Hello Glenn Beck fans!
Wow…what a turn out…I am energized, impressed, proud, and full of promise!
I don’t know if the majority of you guys follow the prayer of Jabez…..?
My Dad taught it to me several years ago.
I have not been as diligent in daily reflection as I always intended to be. However, it seems our Creator does not measure our blessings in proportion to our dedication to Him…but rather upon His own measure of promise given freely to those who listen and show up. All of you…are a great and wonderful Blessing to me.
I deeply appreciate all of you….and connect from the heart with your frustration, passion, intelligence, and motivations.
We have much to learn, much to share, many tasks to perform, and one another as companions in all our efforts.
We need one another, now more than ever.
I urge you to guard yourselves against all divisive discourse. This is not a public forum to vent on one another your personal opinions. This is a courtyard of unified Principals and sacred Values. We enter into this place freely, willingly, full of desperate hope in one another. Lets not muddy the water, and fog the air with the dust and silt of inflexible disregard. I asked you to be prepared to adapt…for some of you to be ready to speed up…and others to graciously slow down.
“Slow is Smooth…and Smooth is Fast”
Let us focus on being generous, balanced, rational, and unimpaired by our passion.
We are all human…and prone to err at the drop of a hat. One of the most destructive errors we can entertain is an unbridled tongue. We can mean well, and injure nonetheless with ease. I urge you to give pause, and reflect on the impact and consequence of the spoken word. We came together…and will continue to do so…for the sake of freedom and prosperity. The majority of us are real Glenn-Heads…and so we speak the same language and share a compatible sense of humor. For us….synchronization comes with the greatest of ease. We do, however, have ALOT more to learn…and I fully intend to help give what I have freely, and desperately desire to receive what you have in return.
BTW- Your donations covered all the costs adequately…and I was not left with a bill at the end. That means, it was YOUR meeting, YOUR investment…and in my estimation, it has immediately gained in value, and promises growth over the next 6 months.
I have always favored the general principal of “quality, over quantity”. However, you guys have broken that paradigm. ALL of you are such high quality human beings…that I have taken the liberty of shifting the model to quantity…realizing now, that the Principals and Values (if entered upon from the beginning) guarantee quality. Therefore, I am building an immediate growth plan that I wish to share, help build, and make available for all of you to participate in. It is a 9-12 outreach plan…aimed at our business and social communities. We will begin “think-tanking” some strategies about how to start…and immediately begin disseminating information on this plan so that we can affect maximum coverage with minimal resources.
I once again hafta THANK ALL OF YOU for coming out and standing together as a first step in this exciting process.
Please call or write me if you need anything at all,
Ryan

I gotta buy a little time, so you know what that means right? Possible subject starter… Do you think people like us are looking for one umbrella group to join so we may become activists in saving our country?

I demand that we go to a 28 hour day, a 9 day work week, and a 38 day month, and then we outlaw sleep! This may help all of us (or at least me) get caught up on all the things we need to do for our family, our God, our bank accounts, and our fellow man.
Yeah, I’m whining. I just have so much to write about tonight, and so much to post that I don’t think it will all get done. Well, let me kick this thing off and see how far I get…

Obama v. Palin: America Picked the Right Family
From the time that “Family Values” became an empty phrase regularly trotted around the political arena with all the reverence of the last surviving soldier of a war that was never actually fought, the totality of the family which occupies the White House has reached the same level of curiosity as the quadrennial question of whether or not a presidential candidate can bowl above one hundred.
The shocking, never-saw-it-coming implosion of the forced relationship between Bristol Palin and self-described “f***in’ redneck” Levi Johnston underscores the fact that America sent the right family to Washington.
With regard to Bristol and Levi, regardless of how loving, committed, devoted and generally available a parent is, no parent can guarantee how far an apple will fall from the tree. However, knowing that, no parent should seek higher office on the rhetoric of abstinence only/ sanctity of marriage/gays-are-ruining-family-for-us so let me impose my “values” on you for you. Especially when the empirical evidence is those “values” do not work beneath the very roof from which they are being espoused.
But the unfortunate choices of Bristol and Levi are the least of it.
What family values does one represent when he or she socks it to the taxpayers for government presidiums when staying at home, or chisels supporters out of tens of thousands of dollars in upscale campaign trail wardrobe?
What family values does one represent when one doesn’t stand up to potential in-laws who are facing six felony counts of misconduct involving controlled substances, including the distribution of those substances?
And what kind of family values are represented when one’s spouse quietly belongs to an anti-American secessionist organization to which you send a taped video welcome to their convention wishing them all the best?
And then there are the Obamas. The occasionally thrown “terrorist fist jab” seems quite tame in comparison.
Politically, those of us who are true Americans of any persuasion hope that President Obama succeeds.
As a First Family, the Obamas already have.
