Don’t sign anything at tea parties unless you are absolutely sure what you are signing.
I don’t know if this is just rumor, but this has been circulating so I thought it needed attention:

Yeah, I heard about this a couple days ago. I wonder if it was this past weekend he was to go?
I support Mr. Basso 100%, and pray that Comrade Obama does NOT get one of his thugs to lean on Mr. Basso while he’s in DC. If it were me, I would decline the invitation. I sure as hell don’t want to have a conversation with a politician that may think that encouraging freedom is “frightening”.

Michele, we don’t have to sign or do anything at a protest, which is what the “tea parties” are. For now, this is still a free country, and Americans still have our First Amendment rights & liberties, including the freedom to assemble.

Everyone, let’s all send something to Obama on April 1st! Either:
A red envelope, against abortion & embryonic stem cell research;
Or any envelope containing the picture of a teabag, but not the actual teabag (because it’ll just be confiscated by the FBI in the name of bioterrorism).

We are making a difference (I contacted the school’s principle and copied the Naperville Chamber of Commerce – nothing like threatening to stop shopping to get people’s attention).

I, too, searched for the update of Dr. Basso’s WH visit. The “Jerry Doyle Show” website requires people to be a “Member” in order to hear his show. And there are no transcripts so if anyone knows if Dr. Basso is still alive, please let us know.

If Ormand Beach’s city hall closed down because of a couple of “suspicious” letters containing teabags, what will Washington, DC, do when all the tens of thousands, if not millions, of “suspicious” envelopes pour in by April 15th?
Dr. Basso seems to be alive and well and is scheduled to be on Glenn Beck’s show this Friday. That’s all I know for now. Dad said there hasn’t been any mention of Dr. Basso on the Jerry Doyle show (but, Dad fell asleep listening to the show because it comes on around midnight.)
