Holy Cow, the lefties that love MSNBC propaganda, and hate the fairness of Fox News, are going to love this story.
Unless you have been hiding under a rock, you know that the Glenn Beck show has gone through the roof, and his show last Friday had historically high ratings. But Fox News does have one person, that we know about, on their staff that is not happy for Glenn or his success. In fact, Sheppard Smith seems down-right jealous. I think it’s a disgrace that an employee of Fox News is dissing a colleague. Shep is just dripping and oozing with jealousy for Glenn Beck.

I’ve seen this guy and never get through a minute of his program. Now I know why. He’s most unprofessional and obviously has no respect for the success of a fellow co-worker.
Beyond the fact that he is obviously jealous of GB’s success, it seems as if Shep might just be playing for the other team. His behavior seemed a little too bitter…as if he is a leftist himself. I don’t think he thought this through. His attitude and disrespect of Beck was taken (at least by me) as a very clear slap in the face of Conservatism. He came off looking like a jealous, juvenile, left-leaning idiot. It is this type of infighting that has slowly eroded the strength and cridibility of the GOP. We have become a bunch of splinter groups with different principles and ideas of which direction we should go. Until we can get back to our roots and get on the same page, we are dead in the water.

This will come as no surprise, but Shep is a left-leaning idiot. His lefty side comes out from time to time, that’s probably why his afternoon show is watched by very few people, while his evening show does well. I do think he is jealous, which makes no sense. He’s a news reader, while Glenn is a news leader. Big difference in the two!

I agree. There is a huge difference between the two for many reasons. If Shep wants to be a leader, he is going to have to pick a side and then make us believe that HE believes what he is saying. There is no doubt that Beck believes what he says and that he is passionate enough about it to become openly emotional about it. For Shep to mock those emotions on air tells me that he can’t possibly have the same convictions.

Gio after seeing the ratings from Beck’s program Friday it made me feel good knowing that there are more of “US” then “Them” out there.Beck achieved what the liberals are deathly afraid of…he gave the true average American a voice. We were actually heard.

Not only has Glenn Beck shown the Left that there are many of us out there, even more importantly, he has shown us that we are not alone. On the contrary, there are many many fellow conservatives who are distressed and outraged about the direction Obamination is taking our country.
This is just the beginning of the Second American Revolution….
Eowyn, Beck had gotten so many people together from so many parts of the country who did not care about race, creed, or color they just wanted what every other law abiding citizen wants…their country back!
Wow I did not mind watching Shep from time to time but that was pretty weenie of him. Let’s clear the air here for one moment as for Beck welling up every once in a while who cares? Beck has been the only genuine person on air who is just like every other American that is why his ratings kills the competition everyday. I will tell you this Shep may be the weak link in FNC’s armor the libs has been looking for. All they have to do is play to his ego (shouldn’t be to hard) offer him something nice and shiny, hell maybe even his own show just bashing Beck. FNC and Beck in particular need to watch themselves.
Shep has a lot smaller herd so to speak. He is allright on the radio doing the Fox Report but he’s kind of a douche otherwise. He reminds me of Christopher McDonald’s character in Happy Gilmore-Shooter Jenkins.

Oh puhleeze….this coming from the green-eyed monster Shep about Beck shedding a few tears…what a hypocrite!!!
Does anybody remember his constant tears and sniveling with his reporting from New Orleans….always trying to incite a riot along with his other whiner Geraldo…I was furious, he did this daily…it was the first time I ever was so mad after I just got my first computer and emailed Fox, plus called them too…Fox ended up having to do control damage with both of these guys after they were pulled out of NO’s.

I’m speechless. I mean, I’ve seen Shep before on Fox a couple of times, but never this side of him.
If you want to criticize someone on the air, do it openly, rationally and meticulously (unless you hide behind the label of “comedian”). But all Shep does is mock the guy. Even if I weren’t a fan of Glenn Beck, this childish attitude would puzzle me at the very least.
It’s like I am suddenly in Bizarro world, where stupid things like Joy Behar’s SheetzuCacaPoopoo pop up. Well, at least Behar’s absurdity is basically a given, almost a universal constant… like Pelosi Airlines… but I thought Shep was more… professional, you know?
Oh well, one less person on my Christmas gift list.
