This is the type of story I can really get behind. Before, during,
and after the election, we were able to post what little was known about the Obama - Ayers friendship. Even if their acquaintance is all innocent like they want us to believe, it’s still a fact that Bill Ayers was/is a terrorist.
Anyway, it looks as if this latest joke of an election, has stirred people’s souls. And I say… IT’S ABOUT DAMN TIME!
Please check out the video incident after reading the short article. Praise God, Americans may finally waking up to the evil that pretends to have our countries best interest at heart.
On a more personal note… I don’t believe anything that comes out of an unrepentant terrorist’s lying mouth.

The shouts of “Shame on you!” resounded across the small Saint Mary’s College campus Wednesday night, where under the glare of television lights, a few hundred sign-carrying, flag-waving protesters gathered around a megaphone to object to an appearance by 1960s anti-war militant William Ayers.
Most of the protest and its speeches took place before Ayers spoke, but even as he took the stage inside the college’s Soda Center, protesters outside crowded toward the doors and shouted, “Cop killer!”
Ayers has never been convicted of killing anyone.
Many who couldn’t get inside the center hung around the entrance. At least one man had to be escorted out of the auditorium by campus public safety officials when he walked up to the podium where Ayers was speaking, carrying a book that resembled a Bible, and began shouting profanities.
Ayers was invited to Saint Mary’s as part of the college’s “Against the Grain” speaker series. A former leader of the Weather Underground, he is now a professor of education at University of Illinois-Chicago.
“I am appalled how Bill Ayers is able to come to a Christian-based campus to speak his rhetoric,” said Jerry Converse, of Concord, who carried an American flag. “It’s a free country, but this is the wrong place.”
The crowd roared and chanted, encouraged by speeches by an FBI informant who had infiltrated the Weathermen and by a police officer who had been on the scene of a bombing at a San Francisco police station that killed a sergeant. The officer said the bomb was set by Ayers’ wife, Bernardine Dohrn, a fellow Weather Underground leader.
“He hides behind being an educator,” said Larry Grathwohl, the FBI informant who traveled from Ohio to attend the protest. “He claims he never killed or injured anyone.” At that, the crowd erupted in chats of “Liar! Liar!” Grathwohl said Ayers had instructed him to make a bomb using fence staples to kill police officers, which Ayers has denied.
“Free speech does not give him the right to lie,” Grathwohl said.
The protesters’ chants sometimes competed with students and Ayers’ supporters, who chanted “Saint Mary’s College!” and “SMC!” And a few debates between the two camps escalated to the point of yelling.
“If we don’t speak up, who will?” said Nancy Messer, who came from Half Moon Bay to protest the speech. “We don’t want (the students) corrupted.”

Gio-

Gio! You’re back online!
Today is a Red Letter Day: both Jen and Gio are back.
Gio,
Welcome back! Although I’ll bet you’re not all the way back yet.
I hope Mrs. Gio is doing better.
Now I’ll read about this this Ayers wipe.
I’m back, sort of. You would not believe what it took to go online for a few minutes.
Now the granddaughter has the bug, so now there are 3 of us moaning from the couch, the bed, the bathroom, etc. One bright spot today… granddaughter wanted to know if Obama could heal us. So happy she takes after me.
My appearances will be spotty tonight and maybe tomorrow. Wish us luck.
Gio-
The girl at the end of the video is an 18 year old idiot. She wants to hear something so why doesn’t she want to hear the truth about Ayers? Is it because Ayers is a buddy of her Leader, Hussein? Who knows. What if it was her Grandfather who was killed by the Weather Underground?
I am amazed that a religious college allowed this admitted killer speak – about anything. Yes, Ayers has freedom of speech but the argument made in the video is correct. He doesn’t have the right to get paid by that school. He is Anti-American and Anti-religion.
I am astounded that young people are this stupid that they actually want to hear Ayers thoughts. Our old America is truly gone.
God help our youth – “people aren’t perfect”? That’s your excuse for a terrorist who bombs the Pentagon and steps on the American flag? Absolutely disgusting that any one would sit in that audience and applaud this terrorist.
Dok,
The truth is many many of our young people have been brainwashed and led astray by K-12 teachers and college/university profs.
Having said that, Ayer’s appearance was in Moraga, in the San Francisco Bay Area, which is not exactly representative of America. I call the Bay Area the Belly of the Beast.
Jen has a good point about the venue, the supposedly Catholic college of St. Mary’s. Sadly, however, American Catholics are as divided as Americans in general between “liberals” vs. conservatives. Sadder still, there are Catholic clerics who are so far left, they might as well call themselves Che and Hugo.
I did hear, on the local conservative talk radio (KSFO), that St. Mary’s has been inundated by outraged alumni saying they will no longer donate to their alma mater. Let’s hope money talks!
Don’t you all just hate Ayers’ silly earrings?
Trying too hard to be “trendy,” but the result is girlie.
Eowyn,
Yes, the belly of the beast is an apt name for the SF area. And I know all about the infiltration of our educational system. I had to fight it, albeit not as much as other locales, when my kids went to school. And I’ve been telling all who will listen (and some that resist) about the Socialist takeover of our entire country. Hussein is one of the final nails in the coffin. And Ayers helped mold him.
And I just want to rip those earrings off his ears. Whatta twerp!
I am not my normally coherent self, so if you can make sense of this, great.
My youngest is planning his senior year schedule, and he wants to take sociology. When he read me the course outline, it smacked of PC and socialism. I snarked, ‘oh great! they’re going to make you a good little communist’.
Unfortunately, while I was in the hospital, he told his teacher I said that. I told him I was being sarcastic, but that I have my reservations about the course. His teacher told him she couldn’t understand why I said that because it’s mostly just to make sure he doesn’t get chastised in college for saying ‘merry Christmas’ or something.
Heaven forbid he should say something awful like that!
What should I do?
Here’s the writeup in his handbook:
Sociology
Students will learn about social relationships, culture, and social organization. Basic sociological themes and concepts relating to mankind’s values, accepted behaviors, customs, and basic needs will be studied. Students will examine sociological concepts such as social change, conflict, cooperation, and social control in relationship to the development of culture. A few areas of focus will be crime, p9overty, marriage & family, and religion. Students will be required to develop ideas and concepts through presentations, written reports, and group discussions.
Am I off in my concerns?
p9overty? There’s no 9 in poverty!
And my older son just informed me that the teacher is a he, not a she.
I am so out of it.
Jen,
Tell him to be himself, not what others want to mold him into what they want him to be. If he wants to say Merry Christmas, tell him that we still have freedom of speech in this country. If someone says they are insulted by ‘Merry Christmas’ have him tell them he’s insulted by whatever they are into (Kwanza, Ramadan, whatever) and that they should mind their own business. There’s enough room for everyone (except IslamoFacists).
Doktor BeYerself
I am so very with you on the be yourself thing. But I know my son in particular (like many teenagers) has a serious desire to fit in and be liked. I don’t know if he will have the strength to stand up for what is true.
I’m concerned he’ll cave, or worse, that they’ll indoctrinate him.
Jen,
From the writeup: ”. . . mankind’s values, accepted behaviors . . .”
Ah – there’s the rub. According to who? From what viewpoint? My viewpoint on the world’s religions in that Islam is not a religion. A few million people probably disagree with that.
A person can learn about others but as soon as there are any value judgments made during the instruction (ie: Instructor’s viewpoint saying that Islam is truly a religion of peace) then something must be said – aloud. For example – If someone were to say, ”Not all Muslims are terrorists” the counter is, ”But nearly all terrorists are Muslims”. And I’m using Islam as the example because a lot of the Literati embrace those murderous thugs for no other reason than to make themselves appear more ”open” and ”inclusive” – you know, better than you.
Another bogus line of garbage to look out for is the ‘diversity’ meme. Shun diversity as it homogenizes people’s identities. There’s is no logical reason I have to accept anyone’s radical ideals.
There’s much more but I’ll leave you with something for your son to read:
The Spoiled Children of Capitalism
Doktor
by Jonah Goldberg
Okay – I screwed up my last post. Jonah’s name should have gone before mine since he’s the author of that Capitalism thing. And I forgot to say why that’s so important to a college student.
Most all of the college smarties abhor Capitalism. Why? Do they even know why? They would certainly NOT be where they are if it weren’t for ”Big Business”. They wouldn’t be wearing their fancy clothes, driving their cars, using their phones, computers, etc. Many charities would have never existed if it weren’t for Capitalism. It always boggles my mind to think that most of the entertainment media are anti-Capitalists. Where in the hell would they be without it?
My parents were poor. I worked my way through college while I was married with kids. Could those little artsy fartsy-holes do that? Not many I’ll bet. Kids in this country have had it way too easy. Some don’t deserve college.
Later!
Jen, (and others)
Here’s a Print Version (single web page) of Jonah’s great article.
Spoiled Kids of Capitalism
According to who? From what viewpoint?
Exactly.
We live in a semi-rural area, and I had hoped we’d be able to bypass this stuff. But alas, I must face this now.
Pfft. And I had hoped for just a bit of recovery time from my surgery.
I’m in agreement with you on Islam as well. It’s so much more than just a religion.
Great article from Goldberg. I like the way that guy thinks. I’ll bookmark it for my son.
Jen, (I got to thinking about your son and peer pressure and indoctrination)
Rush Limbaugh said this in a New York Times Magazine interview when he was talking about Americanism and how Reagan viewed it:
”He (Reagan) had faith in the wisdom of the American people. . . . He knew America wasn’t perfect, but he also knew it was the most perfect of nations. Reagan was an advocate of Americanism.” In response to a separate question, he wrote: ”America is the solution to the world’s problems. We are not the problem.”
Why this? I tried to teach my sons that society would be chaos without the police and the U.S. military to keep the peace – at home and abroad. People think of themselves as Americans for very different reasons. Some, like Reagan above, understand that America is the best deal anyone can get in this world. Others, like Socialists or Leftists in general, see almost nothing but problems with America. They have grand ideas that America would actually be better copying all of those systems that invariably fail – some very quickly – or never get off the ground at all (Venezuela is a perfect example).
Just like what Gio is attempting to do with his Che history page, at the very least kids need to know these truths about America. Then, if they care enough to absorb that info, you’ve done all that you can. Believe in the wisdom of your children.
Jen,
Your son is blessed to have a fierce protective lioness for his mother.
I agree with Dok: You have need to be concerned. And I definitely hear what you said about peer pressure. Although you live in a rural area, there must be a church youth group that your son can join?
He needs more than his mother and family; he also needs to be around other good Christian teens of virtue for collateral support. And as sociologists & child psychologists tell us, teenagers look to and are most influenced by their peer group.
What this country needs is a youth corps. NOT the brown shirts of Obama-Ayers, but a Youth Corps for Christ.
Too bad this worthless bastard didn’t blow himself up constructing a bomb.
May he die penniless in a gutter somewhere.
