Turning the ship of Washington will require the voices of change to be louder than the advocates for the status quo.

You gotta give them credit though, they use every chance they get to scare the pants off of people. 100% clean energy in ten years is absolute nonsense. There is only one way this is even remotely possible, and as you may have already guessed, it would mean we as a nation would be wiped out financially for many decades. Hell, it could take as along as 40-50 years for us to recover from the hellish taxes and the loss of millions of jobs. What we would end up with is the cleanest energy in the world that NOBODY COULD AFFORD! Obama is fond of saying things like… “We will create millions of green jobs”. What he doesn’t tell you is that many millions of other jobs would disappear in the Oil, Gas, and Coal industries. The Great Depression will end up looking like a day at the Beach..

This is how your tax deductible gift will be spent… They will use the money they raise for two purposes. One of course will be to fatten their own pockets. The other is more insidious. Congress will be pressured by the most radical group of Lobbyists this country has ever seen. They will push Congress HARD, to implement laws and provide money to go green. This means that Congress will bow down to them by doing the one thing that nobody can afford… tax this country into third world status. So, if you want to give them money to help them pressure Congress to raise your taxes by as much as 30% or more, then by all means, show us how stupid you are and send them a check!
The truth is, the first 100 days of the new administration will be critical. And we aim to be busy.
Our Repower America campaign will be driving home the message that the solutions are within our reach — that halting climate change means creating millions of jobs.
Did you catch that last sentence? Think this through for just a moment…”halting climate change”. Who the hell are they kidding? We humans CANNOT HALT climate change! If someone can tell me how you halt climate change, and more importantly, why you would halt it, I will personally start a petition to make you a Nobel Prize nominee!
Our Reality campaign will underscore that coal isn’t ‘clean’ until it captures and safely stores its carbon pollution.
Here we go again… carbon is NOT a pollutant. Without carbon we will all die!!!
These campaigns are big — and they must be: we need national paid advertising, online organizing, grassroots partnerships with new and powerful constituencies like labor, the faith communities and university students.

As you have heard me say, there is a common thread linking the nation’s major economic, security and climate challenges: our addiction to carbon based fuels. There is also a common solution: a wholesale shift to truly clean sources of energy. If undertaken immediately this shift can be the country’s ticket out of economic malaise. As you know, an effort of this scale during these pressing times will require all voices to influence the debate.
Hold on there Al, you are one of the people that stated that the “debate is over”. Jerk.
This is why we need to speak up more forcefully than ever. I know you’ve invested a lot so far. Can you spare a little more?

It’s been a few short months since we launched the We Campaign in April, and we are now more than 2 million strong. This is great progress. I believe the momentum is on our side.

That’s the interesting thing about our modern day society, we honestly believe, and for very good reasons, that Al and his cult followers are the ’sheeple’. Yet, they are the ones that use that very same term to describe us.
Rather than find the Fountain of Youth, or the Holy Grail, I would much rather have the secret as to how to get through to them. What we need is a magic wand. Maybe a Baseball bat would do?!

How come there is never any mention of the huge investment Al Snore has in this. He stands to make BILLIONS if this junk is implemented. Follow the money cause that’s all this is about From carbon offsets to research grants……money. Now here’s an idea for clean energy….how about we build about 50 Nuclear Power Plants and create many many jobs and you get clean energy to boot. For some reason they don’t like this….wonder why? Maybe cause not a dime in it for them and maybe some spotted horndrimmed glass wearing owl might have to move 2 trees over lol
