Yep, you read that correctly. The above bonehead was upset that Sarah went to Georgia to help Saxby Chambliss in his run-off election, so Mr. Alan Goldsmith decided a petition was in order. This stupid petition allows people to leave comments after they have signed it, and below you will find the tolerant left at it’s finest. The commenter’s below prove to everyone that they are uniters and not dividers, and are lovers not haters, and are doing their upmost best to bring this country back together again. Yeah right!
Anyway, first read the stupid petition then take a gander at the comments. If this moves you in any way, please take action. My suggestion is… Make good use of Mr. Goldsmith’s email.

Dear Governor Palin,
We the undersigned implore you to remain in Alaska (where your national security credentials are required to repel a Soviet invasion) and stop giving media interviews and press conferences.
Maybe you missed what was going outside your small circle of adoring fans but you and your team were soundly defeated in the 2008 election. Sensible citizens rejected your fear mongering, divisiveness, guilt by association and rambling incoherence in favor of an articulate leader whose vision has brought millions of people together from all walks of life.
Governor Palin, you had your 15 minutes of fame, and now they’re thankfully over. America has far more important things to do than listen to you right now. If, in the future, the war against terror or another political, economic, social or environmental meltdown demands the best mooseburger recipe, rest assured we will call you at 3:00 am (EST).

As a mechanism for gathering the IPs, home addresses and names of these Palin haters, this petition was a resounding success.
While there were many duplicates, all originating either from the office of DailyKos (meaning his mother’s basement or the homes of his “friends” at the free clinic), there was a good deal of information for the database. It is currently being administered by prisoners at a California correctional institution.
The signers can expect to hear from us and every mass mailer or multilevel marketer in the US over the next four to eight years.

Brilliant detective work, Gio! After reading what a turncoat this rat is, I wanted to throw up. There is some kind of cover up going on with this and I think whatever people are behind it are really afraid of Palin because she would probably blow the whistle on them. It’s terrible the Republicans including McCain (!) started deriding her right after the election. Who really knows? What I keep pondering is what exactly is it that people that think like all of us seem to sense or instinctively know something is terribly wrong.
I work part-time in a retail store that sells books. Probably 97% of my co-workers voted for the “annointed one.” It may sound silly but it has been very difficult working in this environment because I feel if I were to speak out I may be fired or my hours cut. What is interesting is customers have come in who I can tell voted for McCain. They are buying books to do their own research. One customer bought a copy of “Rules for Radicals” and another political book (can’t recall which one). I made a quiet comment, something like “woah” at his first book and he whispered to me “I’m keeping an eye on what is going on.” I replied I was, too. Several customers and I have had whispered conversations about our concern regarding this election. They are all just as worried as we are.
Presidential elections in the past have never bothered me as much as this one. The night of the election, I was on the verge of crying after I said to myself, “What in the Hell have they just done to our country?” I literally became ill the next day.
I will send a fax to this ridiculous petition and get others to do so. This is unbelievable.

Also, thanks for reminding me….I know from scripture not to expect acceptance, love or even tolerance from the “world” but somehow it still shocks me when I see first hand how hated are people of obvious virtue, in this instance Sarah Palin who embodies everything good about America, family and faith.

Alan Goldsmith is apparently so unbalanced that he can permit no dissent on his pathetic small-minded attempt to humiliate and hurt Sarah Palin.
After the election, Michelle Malkin had no trouble getting over 10,000 thank you letters to Sarah in about 24 hours – I felt fortunate to have mine included but comments had to be closed when the Sarah haters found the effort and started spewing their garbage.
Alan Goldsmith has had to reject 5 out of the last 11 petitioner’s comments….I think the hate petition has perhaps run its course. What a loser – I hope Goldsmith gets thrown out of political discourse for this sophomoric stunt.
