Going through some of the liberal blogs a short while ago, I came across one that
gave me the chills. We have all heard about how some people consider comrade Obama as the Messiah, right? Well folks, now I know it’s true. Read just a few comments I copied from those that worship him.
“I’am happy to see this come to past in my lifetime. God has order your step President-elect Barack Obama from the beginning. He have brought you to the fore front, not only as a black man but, as an African American for all people, it let us know that it’s ok to reach out for the unthinkable and it can be achieve.”

I was worried about an Obama presidency long before I read these comments, but now my worry is on a whole other level. God help us (the real one)!

Why Obama Scares The Crap Out Of Me
You know Gio the secular and liberal crowd has been looking for their own religion for a very long time and they finally have one to call their own…and not a very good one at that. Unlike Obama who’s life if very finite our God is like the energizer bunny; he keeps going…and going…and going.
I’ve been seeing this kind of worship too, and it is frightening. They defend him to the end, no matter what comes out about him. They won’t even engage if you say the word ’socialism’. They shut down.
There are none so blind as those who WILL not see.
Yes, may the One true God deliver us from this evil.
About 2 weeks ago, some guy called up Sean Hannity and read some poem he wrote saying Obama was the Messiah. Scared the crap out of me but I had to laugh at the same time because these people are really nutty.
There are some who say that human beings have an innate need for the Divine, and that the more materialistic and nonreligious a society becomes, the more people turn to the occult and pseudo-religions to find meaning. That would explain the adulation of Obama by so many who have formed a political religion around him.
Certainly, a look at human history since the Enlightenment confirms this. A lamentable effect of the Enligtenment was increasing skepticism about traditional religions and even the very existence of God. To replace that empty hole in the human heart which only God can fill, humanity turned to political cults and religions–those of National Socialism (Nazism), Fascism, Marxism-Leninism–every one of which rejected the reality of Original Sin, elevated man to be god, and sought to create paradise on earth.
But all of those political religions turned out to be dystopic monstrous nightmares, exacting a toll of wrecked economies and of millions of lives.
This country is getting wackier and wackier. The guy is a normal man, just a bit off center himself. To label anyone higher then that, is very scary. Especially when you consider, he sure would not sacrifice his own life for the good of man. Like someone else did over 2000 years ago. People felt David Koresh was the same way, and look how that turned out.
People are raising there hopes way too much with this guy, who has yet to prove anything. I can understand people wanting to believe in hope, but this is getting a bit unbelievable. How are we, in a time were we are supposed to be so “Plugged in” and have more ways of communication, education, and getting information are we so dumb and gullible?
I do still hold out hope that we wont go down in a burning flame, and the return of the conservative people, who believe in capitalism and the constitution will come roaring back the next election. If there is even a next election, and Obama, the all mighty doesn’t rewrite the US constitution.
