Wow, what a night. People were worried about Sarah prior to the debate, but last night she proved she could go toe to toe with the big boys. However, that’s not exactly how the Obama worshipers saw it.
Below are two different Headliners from last night. Finally we get to see how liberals rate candidates for the highest offices in the country, possibly the world. Both of these received huge amounts of comments from people that evidently live in some sort of alternate universe. If these comments are any indication of those we will be up against in November, we have nothing to worry about. You’ll see!
Both headlines are exactly as copied from lefty blogs…
SARAH PALIN HAS AN EYELASH PROBLEM
“Kids, she wasn’t flirting (as opposed to when she…winked). People often blink rapidly when they lie.”
- Posted by DS
“maybe it’s that “beam” in your own eye the Bible talks about, while you are pointing out the mote in your neighbor’s…”
- Posted by SG
“Excuse me…..screw the eyelashes…she’s got a big black WIRE over her right shoulder!!!!!! We kept noticing it during the debate and were not quite sure until NOW…LOOK AT IT!”
- Posted by MAD
“Palin has lost the campaign for McCain because she is as e.v.i.l as McCain. There is no difference between them. They love to attack and be mean. Neither one can say anything nice about their opponents ever. What does that tell you?
It tells you that you have two people who have no LOVE between them to share with others. They are selfish, cold, rude, disrespectful, liars, and outright bullsh__ters.”
- Posted by EB
“She has no class. Her little flirting has the leader of Pakistan in real trouble. That will be her role.”
- Posted by MO
“It’s not the flaw, it’s the denial. Rather than just reach up and brush it away with an elgant motion, she pretended the huge hank of hair in her eye wasn’t there while lecturing America about Brawler McCain’s miracle elixir.”
- Posted by KB
“Hair was in her eye. What is more important is that she lost.”
- Posted by SC
SARAH PALIN WINKS AT AMERICA
“That’s the way she talks or flirts is more accurate. Just watch she talked cheerfully, her eyes flashing or her nose winkling, before she attacked!”
- Posted by JO
“It’s the same GW “I’m one of you, but I’m gonna screw ya”, wink.”
- Posted by EB
“That winking was creepy. So was the wide-eyed blinking.”
- Posted by ER
“She’s a hick and an unqualified, inappropriate representative of this country.”
- Posted by KC
“The winking shows a very insecure person”
- Posted by JA
“The “wide open smile, the winking, the ‘cute’ phases, and the unprofessional tone” are NOT what we NEED IN A PRESIDENT!”
- Posted by PT
“I found it very annoying. It made me feel she wasn’t quite honest and uses that mannerism to win me over, it had the opposite effect.”
- Posted by PC
“Do we need a VP who winks, never puts a “g” at the end of words ending in a g….she reminds me of a “saloon keeper”…. she has no class…. and give me a break with the CUTSIE bull! I’m also appalled that she brought the baby out for “display” again!”
- Posted by NI
“She is like one of those women who wears a low-cut blouse to work and then complains if the men look at her chest.”
- Posted by LM
I have nothing to add to this post. It speaks volumes for itself, does it not?

Sarah Palin vs. Joe Biden: Comedy! Drama! Horror!
So to watch the debate at the State Theater with Michael Moore and 500 other people, 400 of them who will be voting Obama – Biden, was a lot like watching your College football team beat up on the opposition at your school’s Homecoming game. The crowd roared virtually every time Palin rambled, forgetting for the moment that no one without understanding of complex policy issues should become the leader of the free world – the most powerful decision maker on earth.
See pics from the Great Debate Party at this link…
After the debate I flip the channels a lot to listen to the different perspectives. I had “Mr. Hardball” on when a poster quickly came into view and then they immediately went to break. Just from the quick view I had it looked like an old “Che” poster I had back in my younger days. Later, they showed the poster and it was Obama but it still reminded me of that old “Che” poster. Is that just my perception or does it really resemble that old poster?
Palin had Biden back-peddling the whole night. His hard grin was certainly strong evidence that he could NOT get a damned thing over on her. She was ripping everything he said to shreds, and he looked as though he was impressed to the nth degree w/ her, and would like to be HER VP pick… or date her!
But I’m all over the issues and wished the idiots who are advising her would have told her to bring to light the causes of this current economic situation, naming Frank, Dodd, Raines, Obama, Johnson, and the Congressional Black Caucus and their roles in this socialistic failure!!!!! McCain is a complete dub if he doesn’t do it soon. He should have voted against the most recent pork-filled bill as well, taking the high road while killing more attempts at earmarks! I’m only voting for him because he’s the lesser of two evils- AGAIN! Where are the conservatives?? Flip our ticket and you’d see Palin/McCain win in a landslide!
You have some mighty insane posts from these leftist nut-cases here…
They sure don’t live in the real world now do they?
I can’t even believe they are on the same planet, or saw the same show.
Poor babies should walk not run to the nearest mental health clinic before they reach their final destination…the funny-farm.

Giovanni: The comments you posted from the Lunatic Left really are for an alternate universe. I’ve been resisting this for years, but must finally submit to truth. Mysterious black wire over Palin’s shoulder? Eyelash problem? Winking? These people are insane. And to think each gets to cast a vote. Yikes.
Go to http://article.nationalreview.com/?q=ODQ0NWQzODAyMWFlYTkzMDRiYmYzNDU4OWE3M2YzZDY=, you’ll see that the obsession with Palin’s winks is part of the Democratic Party’s talking points. This explains the Lunatic Left’s deranged comments.
I think Fred Thompson summarizes Palin’s debate performance well:
“One of the reasons I feel so good for her, just as a human being,” said former Sen. Fred Thompson, “is I have never seen anybody undergo the ridicule, the slanders and the lies, and the blogosphere and what they’re doing, and breaking into her private e-mail, rumors and things about her, and now, most recently, belittling her, taking little snippets of interviews and laughing at her and satirizing her. Those people ought to be ashamed of themselves, if they’re capable of shame, because they’ve proven that what they were doing does not represent who she was and who she is. Thank goodness, just as she said, that this was an unfiltered event for an hour and a half. She could stand toe-to-toe with Joe Biden, who’s been around for all these many, many years, and basically take him to the woodshed.”
At least now I know according to these people I am an unqualified, classless, insecure hick.
I believe first of all that Palin did very well. It wasn’t a perfect performance, but it was an excellent first national debate against a guy with 35 years of experience at being a widbag.
The fact that the Republican base is re-energized is good for the ticket, but McCain himself now has to step it up and beat Obama in the next two debates.
Ultimately if McCain Palin is to win it has to be because McCain is thought to be a better choice than Obama.
Super lefties are going to say mean hateful things against all conservatives because that’s what they do. The trick is getting to those independent voters again. Right at the moment Palin has got her credibility back and McCain can
take advantage of that fact.
In the end though he is the one who has to do it.
cocodrie,
You and me both!
